Haven't decided on excursions yet... Noah is learning how to snorkel and is loving it. However, he hated the salt water at CC and whenever I bring up snorkeling on the cruise he asks if it's good water or bad water.

I definately want to shop on St. Thomas.... I want a really nice tanzanite ring. I bought one at Marshall Fields and it is sooo pale in comparison. I think they had a purple lamp on it when I had it!

Are we there yet?

I bought a great Tanzanite, diamond and white gold ring in St Thomas last time we were there! Everyone comments on it when I wear it. I use it as my "right hand" ring. This time around I haven't decided what "the" item is. I know you can get some killer deals there. I may splurge on some diamond earrings. I'm also a bracelet person. I may check out the bracelets with semi-precious stones. I like diamonds, but I also like color!

Good Morning,

Last time, I found a beautiful diamond and sapphire ring in St Marten...bartered down to what I was willing to pay then changed my mind thinking I would find something else in St Thomas...but didn't so I said to DH next time I get back to St Marten I will get it...so that will be my mission to go back and try and find "the ring" I am not big on jewellery but it was the one thing I really want.

I am not a fan of salt water either...I don't like it so I just lie on the beach

OK, apparently I am the only one goofing off at work today. Although I work Monday to Friday 9 - 4:30....thank goodness I have internet access and a office so I can check these boards all day so if anyone wants to chat I am here.

Kim2 - I am at work, on the community computer. I will be watching tonight, it has been too long, lol. Saw you over there on the spoiler thread, did you see the poster who asked that spoilers be put in white type, hello "spoiler" thread.

I normally can do some posting, or at least reading, during the day at work, but right now, I got the bright idea to rearrange the whole store and build an Apple centre, what was I thinking, lol. Lot of moving product, shelves, and big fixtures, and lots of sweat, not so pretty on someone my size, but it is honest sweat.

I hate when I do that, I think it is a great idea to take on this huge project and half way through convince DH to help

OK, so I'm about to put down my down payment. I'm going to have to go with an inside room. I think it's gonna be on deck 7. Is that a bad area? I've only been in an oceanview room but since this trip is more $ I'm going inside . I'm also going to stay at POP or All Star Movie resort for the night before. Have any of you done these resorts? If so, do you have a favorite? I've only stayed at POFQ and loved it. How do they compare?

We have booked a inside cabin on this cruise we well. For the price difference and the amount of time I spent in the cabin on the last cruise I couldn't justify the addl cost. I think most if not all of us are on deck 6.

I have stayed at Movies and POP and both where fine. We haven't decided if we are going to stay at WDW before or just at the Radisson. I think we will stay at Music if we stay at WDW because it is the only value we haven't stayed at yet. . It is all going to depend on if we rent a car to go to port or do a town car. I think we will rent however....but haven't gotten that far yet. I do know we will fly in at least the night before.

vital, check to see is any of the deck 6 sideways cat 11s are still open. They are a great option, one enters the room across from the sofa. The bathroom/closet is on one side of the room, the bed/tv/desk on the other. But no long hallway to get down, you enter in to the middle of the stateroom. I am in 6515 "my" room, lol. How many people are in your group? I think most of us are mid ship and forward(?).

Kim1 did some investigating and I think she said you can book for 2 people. I am not sure how we all get linked up so that we can all be together. Hopefully in the next 15 months we get that figured out If I recall we can get the private room Palo has if there is I think 12 of us, which I think there will be at least 12 for sure.

I just really want to make sure I get Parasailing....that was cancelled on us last time.

Paula - we LOVE POFQ too and when we went on our dream vacation this past April - DS wanted to stay at AS Movies because he saw the huge Buzz and Woody. For one night, you'll be fine. For multiple nights, I'm a POFQ girl all the way. The differences are too many list.

For a treat this time we are staying at the Poly for the night AFTER just to be close to MK and to experience their great pool/views at night, etc...

We are coming in the night before and staying at the Hyatt at the airport and taking the early shuttle to the Port from there.

For you to stay at AS Movies or Pop, you will have to figure out which hotel the DCL buses pick up at and get you and your luggage there to catch it!

Hey! I think I'm going to go with POFQ since the cruise bus picks up there. I just can't imagine trying to lug all the bags around to the closest pick up resort. Do any of you know what time the bus runs there? I would get a town car service, but I'm trying to save money!

kim1 are you hooked yet. I have watched it every summer.....sometimes it drives me nuts but I keep watching.

I was thinking either rental car or town car to pick me up at whatever resort we stay at and take us to the port. We rented a car last time and it was really easy but if it is just myself and DD we might just get the town car or rent.....yikes....good thing I have 15 months to work this out .

I am trying the bus this time because of the ease of staying at the airport hotel, we'll be coming in on a later flight... and I usually get a town car but am thinking with 3 of us.... it might be fun to do the bus.

However, I think the bus is more expensive than the town car. Now I must go check.... Edited to add: Nope, Town Car is $210 and bus is $177. That's what.... 5 Pina Colada's? 5 Miami Vice's? 5 Rum Punches? Not worth it this time!
