Melanie... you have 113 days to HHI? Did anyone approve of this non-disney excursion? Anyone? Anyone? Just kidding... I'm dying for some warmth at this point.

I just got home from "The Fridge". It's a tobbogan run at a local park that is very cool... or so I've heard. Noah went to the top... and wouldn't go on it! I had a feeling but at least he tried. Me, on the other hand... broke my tail bone while sledding in high school. I will NEVER get on one of those contraptions again! Do you know how badly a broken tail bone hurts? (Imagine this is a butt smiley that is in pain... )

Opps....didn't know I had to have permission. Note to self....ask permission from fellow Mooners before planning trips.
Can't wait for Hilton Head though & it will sure break up the time until THE CRUISE & I am ready for some chillin on the beach.

I've made an observation. If we are calling ourselves the Mooners, then we should "moon" at the sail away party! LOL!

Maria, Thanks for the tip regarding L.L. Bean, I will defiantly check it out.
My DH is also gone on business 4 days a week EVERY week and when he is home ( like now, because he has been sick) It throws my whole week off. I was teasing him today because since he has been home it seems as though I
can get nothing done. I am just so use to him being gone. I'll tell ya one thing though it sure has been great for us, we have been happily married for almost 15 years and we hardly ever fight. I think it is a blessing that we each still have a sense of independance.

I have started making my grand list of things to remember,pack, plan etc... I
am going to start a notebook so that I can over obsess about things LOL.

We will probably only do MNSSHP if it is a "meet" otherwise we will just probably skip it since it will be a late night and an extra expense for us. DD has been to MK a ba-zillion times so if we missed it she would be ok with that.
We could always just meet up a DTD or something.

Hope everyone has a great night. I'll be lurking around for awhile...that is until DH asks to have the computer back.

Pam. We still haven't decided if it is really worth the money to do the MNSSHP or if the girls would enjoy a day at the park more. I am leaning towards a park day and Whispering Canyons Cafe or Bomas for dinner that night. We are going to Downtown Disney now on Wednesday and just going to hang by the pool for the rest of that day.

I agree with you 100% that it is probally good for the marriage. When I was traveling with him I know it wasn't easy if fact I think in a polite kinda way he FIRED ME ​

Engine running, in the driveway, in park, and the speedometer says I'm going 55 mph (about 70 kph?) at 3500 rpm. Gauges are all over the map. If the volts gauge is right, I'm generating enough power for our house.

So Sean when you head to the shop tomorrow you can really only go 10 or 15 mph, otherwise if you get zapped by a radar you would ticketed for speeding

It did feel weird doing 90mph down the road, but in reality doing less than half that. Fortunately, Mom and Dad are in town this weekend. They followed me in their car, to make sure I didn't get all wild and crazy. Christine? Why, she's off to the gym.

Good Morning

It looks like a busy day for us.

First and foremost , the gym !!!!. It has been 2 months since our membership expired so I will be so happy once I am back on the tread.

The girls have been asking constantly to go sledding. It is still a bit chilly but certainly not so cold as the past few days . We go to the local golf course and it was so funny because my girls think we are golfing today. We drove past there the other day and we asked "Do you remember what we did there?" Their repley "Golf" so yes they truely think we are golfing today

Tonight is cards and yes getting drunk night . Seems as thou everytime we get together with this couple I somehow end up sleeping on the floor Barry says he doesn't know how getting me drunk is worth it I probally won't be on much today but maybe tonight, and if I am please excuse what I post because it may not make much sense, as if any of my posts do.

Can you believe I'm still not done? I'm redoing ethan's bathroom in Pirates of the Caribbean theme. It's going to be really cute. What can I say? I got a new floor so everything else needs updating! I also got a new end table, lamp, things for the kitchen and dog bed! I'm needing a long hot bath now. Off to finish the living room!

I was very embarrased, but they just don't give ya a whole lot of choice do they? The chick from the crew staff came up & put a glowy necklace on me & said....you get to help me out later & I knew that meant TROUBLE. It wasn't too bad. I tell ya though, I hadn't had a drink since before dinner so I was in sore need of one. Wanna know what is not fair????? My hubby had been "chosen" the night before & they gave the men SHOTS before putting them on stage to help out their nerves...but did they give us ladies any alcohol???????? NOPE!!!!! It was fun, but silly & embarrasing at the same time.

Can't wait for more fun in Oct.....woo hoo

Wow we are quiet this weekend....everyone must be busy, busy, busy.

Paula....hope you are almost finished....here's a treat for ya cause you deserve it when you are finished. Please post a pic of the Pirates bathroom..that sounds really cool.

Hi Melanie , I am so sorry , I can take it off if you like. I thought it was a great pic. Your right that isn't fair , if men can have shots the girls should definelty have them too. Like I said i probally would have left the show before it even started if I wasn't loaded.
We did the not so Newlywed game on another cruise with DH and we did SOOOO bad. In fact I found out if we were on a deserted island he would like Heather Locklear with him apparenty he thinks I can't cook either Oh and the kicker the questions was " Describe last night " he said something like the ship was a rock'in , HUH , I said "Who were you with ?" , oh yes and he got the wrong bra size completely . Must have been the one he was with the night before

Good night all . Our friends were not able to come over tonight because Deb got called into work. It's so funny to see her there because they certainly do not need the money, and to see her driving around in her new Suburban with a Pizza Hut sign on top is funny as hell makes me want to order pizza everynight just to harrass her
