October 27, 2007 - Cruising around the Moon - A Magical All Hallows Eve Part 3

Just looked. Forecast says rain, but it usually does. Probably will be sunny in morning/early afternoon and rain in the late afternoon. Hopefully that's how it'll be. As long as it's not lightening, I'll be snorkeling . You never know how long showers will last on the ocean.

Only 1 1/2 more days of work and I'm outta here! Ethan still has no clue and all I have left to pack is the shorts/shirts he wears all the time and our toiletries and we are good to go!

I cant sleep, i aml aying there looking at the out line of my suticases, with the light coming in the window, and all i can think of............is where the heck did i put that baggie of jewlery!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH it is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!

DW just informed me that she's color-coded her packing list so that she knows what items are packed where. She got up at 0600 today to finish 2 of our door signs, and is now working on our fish extender. I've got to go pry her away from it so she can go to her job.

Melanie - - thinking of you this morning. Hope all goes well. I had my gallbladder out about nine years ago. Still get the pain once in a while though??? Don't know why.


Well, I got my daughters all packed last night and they are officially on their way this morning with my Mom. They left this morning and should be crossing the border right about now. I am hoping they do not drive my Mom insane during the long drive to Florida!! My husband and I are leaving sometime tomorrow. I am hoping to get out of work by noon - - if all goes well!

I had a few pains last night, but nothing really bad. My sister-in-law called & my lab work looked ok which is great news that even if it is a stone it isn't messing with anything else. So far this morning no pain at all.
I go in about an hour for the ultrasound. I think everthing is going to be ok. If I have a few little pains I will be fine. I just have to go on this trip. I would be devastated to not be able to meet all of you & have all the fun I have been planning for so long.
I am hoping that the Disney Magic will rub off on me as soon as I get to WDW & that I will feel wonderful all week.

If you check the forcast, there is a chance of rain everyday, every where we are headed. I'm hoping for the times the weather people are dead wrong. At least the temps are in the mid to upper 80s.

No matter what, we are on the MAGIC and no one can take that away from us.

I am still undecided which I have never been this close to the cruise before!

We are now thinking of canceling our one excursion we have so we can take the kids off the ship with us

Has anyone been to the beach near Coral World on St Thomas?

We went there last March. It is Coki Beach. Great snorkeling, nice beach, bathrooms were not that nice. The cab ride there and then back will add up as they charge for all people. The roads there are not that wonderful and like all the other places more of a scary thrill ride.

The beach was not that expensive for the chairs and unbrellas and they have food you can buy and drinks of course. My daughter was 2.5 and had a great time at that beach. If you go to the Coral World website they have a coupon. I do not think Coral world is that great, but that is my opinion.

On St. Maarten if you want there is the Great Bay beach right when you get off if you do not want to make the trek to Orient. It has sand and water and is clean so my daughter is happy.

Melanie- Hope allis well. We spent yesterday at the doctor with my DD. It has become our cruise ritual...we thought she was congestion but just some swelling in the nasal passage so she will live.

Definately no hurricanes. In March it was great weather until we hit CC. Poured so hard you really could not get off the boat.....I could not believe al the great things they did to provide activities on the ship as we watched the water pour down on the island.

We are 1/2 packed.

I have the sign I made for everyone printed. Came out great. Very excited by that. I will have the envelope full of them at the port and the DISMeet

I will be in my limegreen Tinkerbell shirt and my DH does not do green so he will wear his light blue DCL shirt.

Safe travels to those leaving today and tomorrow.

I will finish all of our errands tomorrow and then I have to work Thursday, I am probably going to take an early lunch on Thurs and go get a pedicure....

but other than that I am soooo ready to go!

How would you pack wine bottles? would you just carry them on?

Also, I have 4 Cobra Radios that work great on the ship...in the past anyway. They can be used for the T or T if you would like.

They can work withother radios if we pool radios. That way there can be adult communication if needed. Just a random thought while I was at Dance Class.

I made lists of what i put in each suitcase.........

WHICH is another reason why it is driving me crazy it is not on any list, and i cant find it in the house any where............but i had one bag with all the jewlery..........i must have put it soemwhere and forgot to write it down......

There is a chance of rain here in SOUTH FLORIDA every day too, which normally means, rain at about 3 oclock for about 20 minutes.a nice refresher from the heat of the day.
