Good Morning Moonies! Here is a summation of our camping trip:

Truck wrecked on stump- Check

Ethan burned finger- Check

Ethan's best friend hot marshmallow to face- Check

Ethan getting glow stick juice in eye- Check

Paula not having breakdown- Check (only b/c I have this to look forward too)

UGH! I'm ready to go. Taking E to grandparents for the night since they are out of school tomorrow. I'm going to use the opportunity to pack all I can while he's gone. That way when he's gone again Wed night I'll only have last minute things to do! Can I get a WOOP WOOP!?

I've got to air out the tent and finish washing clothes. I'll check back in later!

Oh yeah, Kim, I'll be glad to twist your arm and make you try the drink of the day every day. Nothing wrong with branching out a little

For whomever asked about the water.... it was close to or slightly over $40 a case!

Ok, here's my day... finished my packing... still working on Noah's bag and the extra bag wil have to be for shoes and costumes. I'm simply out of room.

So... We met 4 of Noah's buddies from school and their Mom's at a local restaurant this morning for a fun trip to the Cider Mill. Well.... No one brought a camera... so we came back to my house, I grabbed mine and off we go.

Let's just say that by picture #5, my camera broke AGAIN!!! So..... after the Cider Mill it was off to Best Buy. I was HOPPIN MAD but realized, I might not get anywhere with anger since... they have already told me it had to break 4 times for it to be replaced and this is #3. So... I used my sweet voice, with lots of tears. Did they replace my camera? No.... Did they offer me a very sweet deal on another one? Yes... but I declined... $$$ needed for vacation, ya know. Did they give me the newest model, right off the shelf to "borrow" while mine is in the shop? Oh Yeah!!! So, I have an even BETTER camera that I pray will survive the trip!!! I'll return it when I get home and by then they think they can elevate the replacement of my piece of junk camera!

I have been hastily preparing for the cruise. I had gotten a tad behind at work and have been BUSTING tail trying to get caught up enough to feel comfortable leaving - that part sucks about vacation. I had a few minutes tonight and thought I would catch up on things. Is there anything MAJOR that I missed? I saw a sign up sheet for stations, but am not sure what the stations are for...

How is everyone's pre-planning going???

I know I am stressed when I think that I wish vacation were a little further off - ICK!

Kids are packed. Working on me now. Husband has a huge military exercise and we've barely seen him this week. Goodness knows when he will get packed. He certainly doesn't have his priorities in order. Protect the country, Disney Cruise?

I had a question, that probably is dumb, but here it is anyway....Can I pack my son's pirate sword in our luggage or will they x-ray it and tear it apart? (Can you tell we don't fly much).

But i called disney cruise, about the swords.......

This is basically what she said.............

You can try to bring them, but you did get a paper that said no fake guns or knives. Your best bet is to bring them in your carry on. that way if they need to be looked at your bags do not have to be gone through.

so this is what i am doing.........Since ours are very long, i am putting them right on top of one of my large suticases. So if they have to open the suitcse it is right there. I cannot caryy them on.

And we are not flying!

DreamCruiser100 - I am so sorry about your AC. It is bad enough in northern climates, but here in FL it is the worst!

I am worried about the weather. Is there some kind of anti-rain dance we can all do?

Anyway, I am praying for good weather...a good time I am sure will be had regardless of the circumstances.

We have ordered our costumes. They are scheduled to be here on Wednesday.

We are not taking any swords/fake guns since the instructions said not to bring any. Don't want to have our luggage pulled and rifled thru, etc. Maybe they'll sell them on board the ship and I can buy my son one then.

So we are very excited that our good friend has decided to join us....I knew she would. She just got home today from the Disney Wonder it was cruise number 20 for her so Saturday will ne Disney Cruise 21. Her and her husband love Disney. He died last January so we are so thrilled she has decided to travel with us again. She went with us last March on a trip that her and her husband had planned before he died. She was on the Med crossing from there to here. We were thrilled when she called today to book as we love to spend time with her.

Kim-our camera broke last Nov at Castaway Cay. We got it fixed under warranty. Three weeks ago it started acting up again. They said they will more than likely lets us replace it free, but we have to wait for that stamp. So we are in the same proverbial boat as you.

To whoever asked, yes they sell all sorts of pirate stuff on board. Including small swords.

I posted earlier, but it is lost in space. The sign I made for everyone: the original picture was slightly larger than 4x6. I blew it up so to speak and tweaked it. I am having my husband print it out tomorrow at work on a VERY high quality graphics printer. If it looks pixelated then I will readjust or beg one of his guys to see what they can do with such short notice. So if anyone else has issues let me know.

Our A/C did not break that was last year, but our washer no longer agitates so we will call the repair guy tomorrow.

And as for excursions we pretty much never do them. On St. Maarten there is a beach that is perfectly fine right there and St. Thomas you can walk to Paradise Point or do a taxi to the beach....but we have doen the taxi to the beach thing and not all that thrilled with it. So long story short we have done lots of cruises with no excursions.

So my husband does not want me to pack my snorkel gear because my usual snorkeling friends are not going to be with us. However,
I already have the fish food. So are there any snorkelers out there? I really only plan on doing some Castaway Cay snorkeling? Not much on St. Maarten to see, in my opinion.

the last minute/detailed stuff ........is well, a bad word........... and i wont say it on here!

But i have gotten most everything doen, and most of the stuff i have topack is BIRTHDAY GIFTS for my DD so she will open them on TUESDAY and then they will go strait into a suitcase!
