TRIP REPORT!!!

Good Morning Moonies!

I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my show dodging ways! I'm just going to play it by ear and see what happens.

I tried on all of my things from my last cruise and am happy to report they still fit, some are a little looser than before . I'm all set as far as clothing goes, but I still have to get my costume. I may get some more flip flops and use the cruise as an excuse. I love my flip flops but I can't get the cheap ones as they hurt my feet.

For MNSSHP, I'm wearing a Target shirt that I got last year. It's orange and has a spider web on it with SPOOKY written in it. I figured we're gonna be yelling and screaming on the rides so I don't want to have to hold on to my hat! I'll be bringing a pirate wench costume and a witch costume for pirate night and halloween.

Well, I'm off to wake the whelp. Hope y'all have a fantastic day! I'm sure I'll be checking in from work!

About unpacking..................

The area to fit your suitcases under the bed..............How big is it?

Do you have to unpack the cases can you leave the stuff in the cases if they are already aranged in a way where you know where everything is?????

Or will the suit cases be squashed in this area?

I mean if i dont have to unpack everything i may not want too as i will know where everything will be as i will have my sheet and at that point have it labeled as to what suitcase contains each item...................

Hello again. I am getting more and more excited as time marches forward. I can't believe we are almost down to 19 days! Kimmielee, how do I add my group members names to the roster?

Also, in my cruise posting before, I neglected to mention that my husband and I were married on a 3-day cruise on the Wonder.

I am so ready for this cruise. If for no other reason than Vista Spa...in my daydreams I am already there..

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!

The area under the beds is approximately the size of a queen size bed (keeping in mind that supports may limit how the space it used). That said, I remember that we had to lift the bed a little in order to slide the suitcases underneath. I also believe that we nested out suitcases before sliding them under. I would not have wanted to go in and out very often. Perhaps if you feel that you that there’s not enough room to unpack everything you can leave some stuff in one suitcase and then make that suitcase easier to get to. But really, the cabins are small enough without luggage all over.

I am back from a brief unintended hiatus. I have some catching up to do! I had some emergency dental work done and it forced me to re-evaluate being awake (I've discovered three areas that cause a body complete misery - feet, teeth and backs - haha)...

As for the shows, the only we haven't seen is Twice Charmed. I believe we're going to plan on seeing that one and skip the others - though soon to be DH enjoyed Hercules, so we may let him take that one in on his own.

I had so many plans for last week and was derailed by pain - ugh, got lots of catching up to do - almost feel like taking a day off to plan for vacation!

Everyone except your 16yo will be too full from the cruise. For each person on the reservation you will receive, for each night on the reservation, a sit-down meal, a counter service meal, and a snack. So with four of you, and if you are staying for seven nights, you will receive 28 credits in each of the three categories. These do not have to be used evenly over the course of the trip.

The table service includes an appetizer, entree with normal side dishes, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage or full buffet. Counter service is the same (other than no buffet), and the snack tends to be any single food or beverage item that is $4.00 or less.

The younger son will be required to choose from a children's menu if available at the location. Your older son will be, of course, a bottomless pit.

Of, course the older ones will have harder clues, and the little ones easy. Remember I am doing this blind ( as I don't know if their are already friendships made etc.. ( except Taylor and M.E. and Ethan and Noah ) Please feel free to suggest other combinations as well, in my next post I will give an alternative where the ages are mixed up, although I like this one better as I think the kids will be able to make friendships faster with those who will be in the same club as them.

Hubby and I are soooooo excited! DCL called me earlier this afternoon, and a very pleasant lady told me we'd been UPGRADED!

Yup, what I thought wouldn't happen ...... happened! We have gone from a Cat.9 up to a Cat.7 BUT, even better, it's not a Navigator's Verandah room (which would have been cool) but is instead one of the "secret verandah" rooms -- the ones that used to be a Cat.6 but because there is a small, partial obstruction at the top corner of the open-air area, DCL changed them to a Cat.7. But it has the plexiglass bottom and the full open air top .... and I am just OVER THE MOON about this. I can't believe we got such a terrific room as our upgrade! And we went from mid-ship to aft .... closer to the buffet now

And we've also been changed from port to starboard, so I'm hoping for a great view of CC when we dock there.

Doing a BIG happy dance here!!! What a great anniversary treat from Disney!!
