I need to be brave and start (figure out) my t-shirt iron-ons....
The T & T bags are done, pirate costume ready, hmmm..what else to do?

Boy, I had such a busy work week and had to travel the week before. I kept up while I was out of town and came back today to 21 pages to catch up on. This is the beginning of the theatre season and I manage the theatre. We produce 6 plays (one every other month) and rent to other acting companies when we aren't producing.

This summer, during monsoon season (heavy rains in the desert), we had out lobby flooded just twenty minutes before opening the theatre to the patrons. The show went on that night but it took us 2 months to battle the insurance company to cover the complete devastation of our lobby. So in addition to my season planning, we have been rebuilding. We're non-profit so $12,000 in damages could have shut us down.

Our carpet will be in just before the cruise thus completing our lobby restoration, our first rental will be complete, our first production will be in technical rehearsals and I will be sipping a mai tai in the adult hot tub on the Magic. Life will go on...

I'm with you about the handwashing thing, Vital. I wasn't very good at it until I did my college internship at WDW. They reminded us of how many years a family will save to visit from every place in the world. When you think about that, you realize that a family will take that trip even if someone in the group has a cold or the flu. So they reminded us to wash our hands often and I took the advice. I have been so much healthier. And I owe it all to a Mouse.

Good Morning Moonies!

As a nurse I can tell you the SINGLE most important thing to do to stop spread of illness is handwashing. Plain soap and water. Sing the Happy Birthday song while you wash. When you're done, you've washed long enough. Now watch, I'll get sick on this cruise! LOL!

Okay..........So my Question about handwashing................
Really........If you wash and sing........and then say touch something that someone just touched that didnt wash there hands after they went to the bathroom, and while they were peeing they got some on their hands and oh yeah earlier thay had sneezed and a bunch of snot came out on their hands as well............Did you sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR NOTHING????????

That's why you get a paper towel, dry your hands, use a dry paper towel to turn off the water and open the door with. Damn people, didn't you go to nursing school

You can hum the tune in your head so you don't actually open your mouth while people are flushing and germs are flying up in the air. Did you know that denists recommend keeping your toothbrush 6 FEET away from the toilet so it doesn't collect airborn germs the actual flushing spews in the air?

I forgot to add that if there's no electric flusher, use your foot to flush. You certainly don't want to touch that handle!

No no no i KNOW that!!!!!! I learned that in the restaurant business..........i mean what if you are in the mall and you do all that and the next thing you touch is a clothes hanger that,the horrible person who didnt wash there hands touched????????

I just did a transfer, used the dark t-shirt transfer, super easy. I have done the clear light t-shirt transfers in the past and that was much harder to get right.

Yeah!! I finished the t-shirts. I did two dark transfers (yeah..it would help if I peeled off the backing!) and one light transfer. The dark transfers turned out great...maybe because the t-shirts were better quality than the light one (?) ...

The light one is ok.

Just another thing to cross off the list!!

Cruise planning:
went out with our shopping list today, and was quite successful. I then cut magnets in half and attached them to some of our door decorations. We also put out some more of our clothes. And I researched SWA luggage restrictions. Setting aside 1's and 5's to use as tips.

Progress will continue during the week, but next weekend is set aside for final cruise prep work.

It will be nice to put voices, faces, and names together. I think I'm going to need flash cards to start learning actual names. When we discuss Moonies, we tend to use people's DIS names.

Oh, I was inspired by the TR's already in progress so...I came up with a name for the PaDC TR. Stay tuned.
