Good Morning Moonies! Not much longer now!

I have a question......for Palo's, how do you pay? Do they put it on your room bill or do you pay in cash. What about tipping them?

What about tipping in general? Can you put it on your room bill or do you have to use cash?

I'm in a rush today, exercised a little more than usual. Off to wake the whelp!

I did receive a call shortly after making the request to confirm that they received it. At that time, the CM also mentioned that we were the first to request that day so the probability was good.

That said, I haven't heard anything definitive yet one way or the other. Perhaps next week.

When you're on board, everything goes on your card (and put on your room bill). My hope is that everyone will receive a bill to sign off on their own room charges and can also add gratuity at that point (kind of like when ordering drinks at dinner). When I receive the call from DCL confirming our request I'll ask them about that.

Hi everyone
Wow , you guys have been very busy !!!!

We have been running all over the place lately
I just got home from my first Avalanhe GTG in Michigan and lets just say I will not strat drinking at 9:00AM
We went to the Renaissance Festival I had 5 glasses of wine , headed back to Beans and had Swamp Water and we were all playing Twister by 10:00
Here some quick photos we took of our amazing trip. These people I met even bought me a hand blown Bee wine glass I got it in the mail yesterday

I got some new Mods the guys threw on for me The people were absolutely wonderful , felt like family the minute we arrived I will also be going to lunch with some of the Florida crew after the cruise

At Palo, you will have to sign for the ten dollar surcharge (as well as any alcoholic beverages you consume while there); at that point, you can write in a tip as well. It'll all be charged to your account.

For the main tips (your servers etc) you will get envelopes near the end of the cruise; they'll be left in your room and they are to hold the tips. You can either tuck real money into them, or you can, in advance, go to Guest Services and ask that the standard tips be put on your account. If you do that, you'll get a little slip of paper along with your envelopes -- you tuck the slip of paper into the envelope instead of $$ (and you could always add a little extra cash if you think someone did an outstanding job).

When you order a drink, a fancy coffee, etc, you have to sign for it. You can add the tip in before you total it; it all gets charged to your account.

The only cash I used for tips was to the room service guys; we kept a small stash of dollar bills handy so we could tip them.

TWO WEEKS TOMORROW! TWO WEEKS TOMORROW!

I am just so excited ..... two weeks tomorrow, we head off for Florida! We have decided to leave a little bit earlier than originally planned, so we can spend a couple of days in Orlando before we head to Cocoa Beach for several days before the cruise!

I have soooooo much to do...................

Our suitcases are up in the spare bedroom and I'm starting to put clothes in them every day (whatever I think I won't need between now and then).

I have halloween treat bags to contribute to the trick or treat/scavenger hunt also. I probably have stuff to put together 30-35 bags. I'm going to ship them before we leave!

Can't wait to leave!

I do split our packing between the 4 bags.... I make piles by day and only pack for 4 days knowing I will do laundry at least once...

so each bag gets one days worth of clothes
then the dress clothes because of princess dresses will be split between two hanging bags this time... so 6 bags total= YIKES! but two of them are smaller pullman types that the kids can pull themselves if needed

Probably slim to none. More likely to get lost traveling by plane I think.

I plan on weighing our suitcases after we pack them. I think SWA has a 45 pound maximum per bag (around 20kg for our metric friends). 3 weeks from now, I'll be on vacation. 8 days from now, we'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary.

Just checked the DCL site. There used to be about 5-6 of the cat 7's on our deck (deck 5) available, including the one next to us. Now only 1 cat 7 (on deck 7) is listed. Perhaps one of you was upgraded to be our neighbors...
