Good Morning Moonies! I'm checking in before I have to start throwing things in an overnight bag to head to New Orleans!

Chris, I said ON THE CRUISE I'll make my comments. It'll give us something to talk about and I'm sure I'll have a lot more stories to tell by then!

Y'all have a great weekend!

Have a great time! Text me when you are home tomorrow!! :rolleyes1

I am up to doing the pages about the Pirate Party, Halloween and Formal Night. I can't wait to get it done!

If I am not around quite as much it is because we live at the soccer field this time of year.

My women's team won 4-0 Thursday night, both kids have their first games this morning and DH plays on Monday nights, then there are practices and school work to schedule in the rest of the week.

Have a great weekend!

My daughter's team named themselves the Monster Sharks (uniforms are silver/grey and black), so I am thinking of giving them all homework to watch Sharktale this week... I know it is not Disney....but I think our team slogan is going to be "Fish are friends not food." and we will pretend all the other teams are minnows.

Happy Saturday
Trish

Trish, I hope you all have a great season! We want action photos! Good luck with the games this morning and DH's on Monday! Soccer rules!

We booked this trip last year, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, had to reschedule for this October. This will be my third Disney cruise and my BFs first. He can't wait. Planning to spend some time in Orlando prior to the cruise. Spending the night before at the Orlando Hyatt. My BF would like to rent a jet ski. But does not want to the the tour at Castaway Cay. Any suggestions? We might try to go to the ocean before the cruise. Or any suggestions for St.Thomas? We have the dolphin experience scheduled for St. Martin.:woohoo:

just giving this a bump

scrapbook swap/martini tasting/chat
Whos game and when
....we will each buy 20$ worth of scrapbooking supplies, whatever you want & then do a swap. Kind of a neat way to get goodies.
We have turned it into a tentative scrapbook swap/martini tasting/chat for those non-scrapbookers out there, to give us girls some more time to hang together.
Maybe in Diversions?????????
We can firm this up as we get closer......
We are open to any suggestions.

swaps are usually secret swaps .... like a secret santa
On our cruise last year, everyone's scrapbook swap was in a gift bag, and then the bags were just traded ...... you know, all lined up beside eachother and then you just choose the bag you want -- and discover what goodies you got! That way it's a surprise, for everybody

Chris, Are you feeling well? I don't think I read a single smart arsey thing in a few days. ;)

I leave for my cruise with mom at 6 am tomorrow - driving to Ft. Lauderdale (ick, I don't like long drives)...

Here's to week in the sun!
Tara

Noah and I were just getting ready to have dinner when the tornado siren went off. The sky didn't look funky or dark... in fact the sun was shining. So... I turned on the weather channel just in time to hear "If you are in Lake Orion, immediately take cover!" Now... you will all be very proud of me, I kept my cool and told Noah we were going to Uncle Larry's (he lives about 1/4 mile away and has a basement - we don't!) for a minute. By the time we got to the Jeep, the heavy rain started... Noah was a bit nervous - then we got to my Brothers and ran into the house. The sky was still pretty light.

My SIL had the tv on... and the local news had 108 mile an hour winds just about 4 miles south of us with "rotation". Ok, that's all I needed to hear. We went to the basement and sat it out. Within about 20 minutes, we came up... no damage, lots of leaves and limbs down, but nothing major! It missed us! :rolleyes1 Someone was watching over us big time!

Thank goodness you guys were safe
I'm working on flowers. My fingers hurt. Miss you guys.
Oh Lynn, we miss you too!!!

Have a great crusie with your Mom Tara :sail: Think about us all slaving away while you are relaxing in the sun.

Wow did we have fun last night!!!!!!! That band was awesome!!! They played everything from Come On Eileen to Pour Some Sugar On Me. We stayed until 2am because they were so freaking great. I had a blast. I think I bounced up & down & danced more than I have since my Rick concert in June.
And to end the night........guess what they played??????? Yes, that is right.....my man Rick............"Jessie's Gril" so they are a ok in my book. We had left the club before the encore & so we heard them start playing as we were walking out so I stopped & sang & danced in the parking lot.

Hi my name is Melanie & I am an 80's music addict & I freely admit it.

We finally made it home at 3am...good grief that is the latest we have been out in ages.

Great night!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good night to all the Wishers!!!!!!!!!

Good night to all the Dreamers!!!!!!!!!!

And goodnight to all the almost 40 year olds who had more energy that their 26 year olds brother & 25 year old friend from work at the club last night!!!!!:woohoo:
