UGH, my son has a horrible mold allergy and his teacher is actually recommending that I have him moved out of the mobile unit =-(....

and she is the perfect fit for JT, but his allergies have been horrible this past week, they got better over the weekend and they are back to horrible after just one day back in the classroom today =-(

I had to email the principal and ask what to do now.... I do not want him moved, but I think we might need to move him...

he goes to the allergist on Wednesday as it is, he is on daily meds and gets shots once a mnth... I am totally bummed about this!

This is the teacher who loves Disney too!....

just my Monday whine and cheese... thanks for listening

:sad2:

I can't get over how quiet this thread is today. Where is everyone?

Chris, Guess I will have to do for now, as your dear Paula seems to be AWOL from the boards this morning, no doubt recovering from the fire.

Same ole' stuff this weekend, DH, DD, and I went to a HUGE Costume store on Sunday afternoon and he found a PIMP costume to wear, and DD found 2 pirate costumes and a hula girl outfit, I tried everything to get her to pick something different but NO WAY, so I guess DD will be a hula girl for halloween.

How are things over there. Funny my DH asked would any of my DIS friends be OFFENEDED if he dressed up as a pimp, I replied, UM NO, I think they'll be ok with it :rotfl:
Wow we will have a pimp amongst us..........:rotfl: She will be a cute hula girl I am sure Pam. What are you going to be???????? Huhhhh??????

Come on people you can't all be costume making, making door signs or playing 911..:rolleyes1 ....:sad2: :sad1: :sad2:

I agree Chris.........where is everyone. It was so quiet this weekend I thought I could hear crickets chirrping.

:cheer2: :cheer2:  :cool1: :yay: :yay:

That's our plan to a T. We are doing the week before at WDW, and MNSSHP, then on to the ship. We have learned that a week at WDW after a cruise leaves one constantly wondering, "why am I standing in a line?", "why are there no chocolates on my pillow?" and even better, "why is this very sweet CM handing me a bill for my meal?":confused3 :goodvibes

Good Morning Moonies! I'm still here!

Had a great time in New Orleans! Our team actually won so you know that meant some celebrating! No comments about the hose. I'll save that for in person!pirate:

Ethan's team beat the snot out of his opponents last night. 18-0. Was good to see all their hard work has paid off. We have a game every Monday night, Boyscouts on Tuesday nights and throw football practice in there for one night and my week is pretty much full.

I'm taking a class for Homeland Security yesterday and today. Kinda ironic since today is Sept 11. Don't forget to drive with your headlights on in memory of all that lost their lives that day.

Well, off to wake the whelp. I'll check back in tonight!pirate:

Just finished talking to my kid's school principal. She said not to worry about taking the kids out of school for 7 days.:cool1: :cool1: She said, they're good students and that the days that I'm taking them out won't affect their grades. It'll be the last 4 days of the first quarter and the first 3 of the second quarter. We also have grandparents day, Halloween, mass on All Souls Day (private school), and parent/teacher conferences while we're gone. (sometimes I wonder what I'm paying for! )

Anyhow, I told her they would be keeping journals (there are some fun ones on Allears.net), do their math and spelling units that we know of ahead of time and any assignments that their teachers might give them. She said don't, let them enjoy the trip! Of course I'm still gonna make them do something - lest let them think we can take trips just any ol'time. I'm not to worried about my DS - he's in 5th grade, but my DD is in 6th - lots of homework!

Can't Wait - as of right now, I have 44 days, 20 hours and 57 minutes :hourglass :hourglass til our plane leaves for Orlando! Coming in Friday night, but won't get in until 10:00 - but at least its a direct flight from San Francisco - the only one for any airline!

Hey Jackie

Did we ever get a consensus on a time/date for the martini party/scrapbook swap????????

Can we go yet???????

well look there i have gone and wet the bed again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:lmao:

Of all the stupid things to do i went to a Florida marlins game after work last night......... NOW I FEEL REALLY BAD!!!!!!!

Well off to work have a great day!!!!!:goodvibes

Good Morning Moonies! Not much longer now! A "cool" front is making it's way through. It was nice walking this morning and having to work up a sweat instead of breaking one just walking out of the house.

I still have to find a pirate outfit. pirate: UGH! That's about all I have to buy though so I shouldn't complain too much.

Still waiting for a good DING from Southwest so I can make it home. If I don't get one, then I'll just drive. People do it all the time so I don't see why I can't.

Well, I'm off to shower and wake Ethan. He had practice last night and is worn out. At least we're done until his game Monday night.

Have a great day!
