Good afternoon Mel,we arrive on the 13th stay the first week at the Dolphin before we set sail on the 20th Then get off on the November 3 and fly home the same night,if mickey and his swat team can get us out of OUR room....;-))

ps...We did plan to stay at the Hard rock and all stars but Hazel just didn't want that moving about...

That sounds like an awesome trip Chris. I don't blame Hazel...that would be a lot of moving. The Dolphin has such a great location...so close to Epcot & the Food & Wine festival will be going on so that will be perfect.

I am getting more & more excited about this trip the closer it gets!!!!! Won't be long before we all get to meet.

Good Morning Moonies! We actually slept until 0900! Must've been all the excitement from his party that made him tired. I don't have a thing to do today. Maybe wash some clothes, might go to a movie, don't really know. May just lay around like a fat slug and watch mind numbing TV!

Chris, will you adopt me and Ethan? You seem to be going on vacation all the time. I'd love to join you!

lynn-you don't have strep throat do you? It's that time of year for all those nasty bugs to be starting up. Kids going back to school times close quarters equals strep throat. At least around here it does. I'm jealous that you are able to go to the beach whenever you want. It's only a 3 hour drive for me, but it would be nice to just hop up and go. One day I'll be DISing from my house on a Caribbean island.

No plans for today, it is our anniversary but DH is out of town, so all I got was an email I lovely one though, and we did go to Daytona last weekend.

Everyone is talking about the vacation before the vacation LOL, we will have our annual Daytona bash in late September and then DH reunion in early October......(not looking forward to that one)

I hope everyone has an amazingly relaxing day!!!!!

Happy Labour Day everyone! I am now leaving the office (darn lawyers making me work on a holiday!!). We are heading out this afternoon to our boat on Lake Erie. Not quite the same as a Disney Cruise but will have to do for now! Then we are going for dinner for our 14th anniversary. How time flies when you are having fun! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

just back from a lovely walk on the beach , need to do this more often
DS 9 started back at school this morning ,where did the holidays go , he is in a new class and has a new teacher ,when I picked him up the first thing he told me was he told the teacher that he was going on the DCL in Oct but didn't let on about WDW and NYC just incase he wasn't aloud all that time off school
I think he was a wee bit worried that he wouldn't be aloud to go , you never no what goes on in there heads

if only my DS16 would decide what he is going to do , left school last year I was kind of hoping that he would go back again , but doesn't look like it now
he has a part time job but needs to make up his mind what he is going to do with his life

anyway everyone that is off for labour day enjoy your day

Quiet here ..... DH is at work, DS is sleeping as his shift has been changed and he starts working midnight shift tonight. I promised DMIL that I would bake for her upcoming tea/social at her seniors' club, but it's a tad too hot to start turning on the oven so I'll do that this evening (must deliver the goodies to her tomorrow).

I am getting VERY excited about our upcoming vacation

No i am pretty sure it is not strep throat, but my Dd sounds horrible today, I think we probally pushed it by going to the beach today with our friends but we so rarely get together. I will be giving her some emergenC and soem tylenol cold and setting her up soem MIND NUMBING TV for the rest of the evening!

I am very blessed to be able to hop in the car and get to the beach TWICE in one day from home! And i really mean BLESSED, i dont EVER EVER take it for granted! and i HOPE i never get numb to it! it is soooo beatuful and the more i go the more i enjoy it!

A serving section is 18 cruisers, and the tables are typically a 4, 6, and 8, but can be a as big as 14 cruisers at one table.

I am asking for the rotation that starts in Parrot Cay, meaning that the group would be in Parrot Cay for pirate night, Lumiere's for formal and AP for semi-formal. This is not a guarantee, just a request.

We got back this afternoon from the family get-away place in the Finger Lakes. Went to the ice cream/chicken place Thursday for dinner. Got local corn, steaks, and wine (0.6 miles one-way to the closest winery) and made dinner Friday. Kayaking. Relaxing. More ice cream. A local buffet dinner in a log cabin in the woods. The cabin was made from trees on the property by the owners. A long-time family friend drove his mint-condition 1931 Model A pickup to dinner. Got Mom & Dad into our kayaks on Sunday. Mom had been before. Dad hadn't, and was curious, as he's been in every other type of boat found on the lake. To a family-owned Italian place for dinner last night, and up early for the trek home today. Traffic was very heavy. Lots of RV's and campers on the move.
