also does anyone know what juices are available at breakfast is it just Orange and cranberry or do they have a tropical one like Guava or Pineapple too?

The room service menu I have from last year lists: orange, apple, grapefruit. But, it doesn't hurt to handwrite a request for something different and see if you get it :)

As for the buffets, I honestly only remember orange juice :confused3 but I'm sure they had others..........

Hi everyone,

I personally wish pirate night was when we had a "day at sea"...I can imagine being tired from sightseeing (day at the beach, all day in the sun) and then getting ready for dinner and staying up late for the pirate party only to get up early the next day and do another port.

We dont plan on doing much at any of the stops, i have PROMISED MYSELF to do soem resting on this cruise, so i dont think we will be tooo tired but i can imagine alot of people needing a vacation after the cruise!!
Now I have a question for all of you ladies ---
what are you wearing for formal night? short dress, pants, long dress or other?

I am wearing a formal dress, and i had a very hard time picking the one i wanted i had it narrowed down to 2 one was a more "SLINKy"type as i call it and one was fuller.....I finally chose the fuller one....it is more me, even though it is not as sexy ...we are on a DISNY CRUISE after all i figured i might as well play while i can!!!!!!!
Have a great evening!
:flower3:

Good Morning Moonies! Today is the day most of us in the south have been waiting on since January. The beginning of college football season. I know, I know, if you're not from the south, you probably don't care too much about it. Have you ever seen the movie Friday Night Lights? One of Ethan's football coaches lived in Odessa, TX and is serious about teaching the 7-8 year olds how to play football. We are going to the Mississippi State vs LSU game tonight. It's going to be on ESPN so watch it if you get the chance. We (MSU) are going to lose big time, but hey, it's time for some football!

Well we are into a good bit of football My Dd cheers for football, and we just recently found out that the COACH of the MIAMI DOLPHONS is COACHIng one of the teams in her unit and one of his osns is on the team that she cheers for! Which is why she really ended up being in that article online, becasue there are photograpers at her games all the time now becuz of those boys and the coach!
Anyway, back to cruise speak, I tried to make sure I put Ethan on the TOT page and it wouldn't come up.

Has anyone else been looking at their ressies online to see if they've been upgraded? I don't know why, but I look about every 2 days just in case. I think I have been ruined with a balcony room. It really was nice to be able to just go sit outside and get away from all the people. Next cruise I'm going to try to book one of the aft balconies.

No i have not HOW would one go about doing that? And are there any upgrades from a floor 6 balcony room that one could hope for????????
Well, y'all have a great day and I'll check in tomorrow!pirate:
:goodvibes

I'd like to bring something to the new neighbors as a way of welcoming them. :flower3: Any bright ideas?

I left a welcome packet for the woman who bought our condo because she was new to the area. It had a map of the area that I marked with stores and stuff, menus and list of things one might need like a good mechanic, jeweler, etc. I would do that again but I think these people are from around here.

How about a Disney or disney cruise pamphlet some Lime green mickey heads and some mickey mouse scrapbook stuff?!?!?!?!?!?!:confused3

What a wonderful daughter you are! Sounds like we have a lot in common. One of my brothers drives my mom crazy too. I hope you both have a great time on your RC cruise! :dance3:

I was hoping to get by with one large rolling duffle bag and 2 carry-ons but with all the costumes, dress clothes, snorkel gear, etc..I'm thinking I'll need two large suitcases.

Gosh i think i will need about 8 suticases for my family i think just my dress alone may take up one suitcase........
can you take those hanging type things that are for suits with the area for the hangers or no????????

so I was thinking about what I am bringing with us for mixers

so what would you mix with the free drinks available
I believe there is Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Gingerale
and does anyone know if there is Lemonade at the drink station?

I got addicted to Vanilla Vodka with Gingerale at some point, it taste like a cream soda... so I think I am leaning towards that

also does anyone know what juices are available at breakfast is it just Orange and cranberry or do they have a tropical one like Guava or Pineapple too?

Ahh the drink possibilities! Can you tell it has been one of those weeks here.

Wow, i cant wait to make up my own stuff....
What are you bringing to make yours in??????
We are bringing our MAGIC BULLET!

Hi,

I would love to do the WDW halloween party but we fly in on 10/26 in the afternoon (my son has 1/2 day of school). We plan on renting a car and driving to Port Canaveral. We are staying at Country Inn & Suites.

I want to pick up some things down at the store there (case of water, etc) to take on the ship. I don't feel like paying $35 for a case of Evian!

Have a great day! :cool2:

I think it starts at about 6ish really soem of us will be there early for dinner.
You could maybe hop in for a little bit and then drive to your hotel room!

thank you! we hope to...any of ya'll ever cruised RC before?
I have only been a disney cruiser...I heard the pools on RC ships were salt water...
We're going to Key West, Coco Cay, and Cozumel...

I am neither a prude nor a heavy drinker; however, I am so naive that I had NO idea we could bring our own alcohol!!!

Does it have to be packed a certain way - and are there any restrictions on what we can bring?

The problem with bring anything alcoholic on board the ship really has to do with getting it off the ship. See Page 9 of the Setting Sail booklet for limits.

Ok catching up

We will be at MNSSHP, but are flying in later than we originally planned so don't get to do dinner at LTT like we wanted to. Are you guys planning to meet up any other place.

So trick or treat at 3:30 now?????? We will have to move the scrapbook/martini party to another day then won't we???? How about Sunday afternoon around 3 or 3:30? People didn't want any later because of early dining..........so many things to do & so little time.

Have a great cruise :sail: with your Mom Tara.

Formal night attire-We are going to Palo on formal night because DH doesn't want to do the tux thing...so I will be bringing a nice dress to wear to Palo & I will probably wear it again on semi-formal night, so if you notice just don't say anything to me.....lmao...I have to have room for my Mary Poppins & Pirate costumes after all.

Drinks---how about some Captain Morgans Rum to mix with Coke/Sprite etc. I don't think we will bring any...I can't seem to talk DH into it. I saw small bottles of Champagne at the store the other day & said hey lets buy one for Sail Away & he always worries about how to get them where they are going without breaking.

I think that's everything............

Boy, have I had a crappy week. The doctor I work with told me late Monday afternoon that she was putting in her resignation. A co-worker has been hospitalized with diverticulitis. Another co-worker has had a very heavy family situation. I have been busting my bu** excercising & watching my diet & I gained weight this week. I need to go now!!!!!

Don't forget tomorrow is last call on the Moonie Bracelets!!!!!!

now I'm sure there won't be much left to take off again :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks Chris for posting the count thing
didn't think I was posting that much

i think we are bringing some alcohol on board with us.........not much cuz we dont drink that much, we just both think it will be fun to see what we can create!!

But of course we will still have to try at least one drink of the day!!!!!
