Tuesday No Rush Tour to airport/beach

Is this beach easy to get too
been watching the big planes landing on youtube DS would love to see it for real

I hope everyone gets/got what they wanted. I kinda feel left out with all the planning. Oh well, I'll find something else to get into. I'm just excited to meet all of y'all!

Dizzi- Anyone who can get on here and share about the 2 Bullets they have is not a snob! If you want to do things with your family, then do it. Just meet us for drinks after dinner and tell us all about it! I just did the family thing so Ethan will be thrilled to meet all the other kids and hang out with them instead of just his boring old mom!

I'm gonna go peek and see if I'm all ready to go!

Oh, for anyone who cares, I got up and jogged/walked 2 miles already this AM! We are gonna be some hot babes on the DCL!

I am happy to report that I'm all booked/paid and could make ressies if I wanted to! Now it all seems so real! I don't have to buy much so I'll just watch everyone else freak out and offer some advice about formal night and packing!

I did not make ressies for Palo for day 4 because I think that is usually pirate night? and I know the kids will want to go to the restaurant and the party that night??? does that sound right?

so I ended up with day 7 (Friday) and we will get on the list for Thursday when we get to the ship =-)

My kids are heading to Sizzling Summer Science Camp this week and DS starts school in 14 days! DD still has 29 days... UGH darn private Kindergarten's that only go to school after labor day until May 15th!!!
with 3 weeks of for Christmas!!! I wish I had their hours.

I'm not sure? Paula and I hired a private guide for this day... he'll take us wherever we want. I think it's a van and there may be room for more? I'll find out if you like!

Congrats on finally getting in ladies!! Glad to see the late night paid off, at least somewhat!

From what I have read the big planes do not land until around 1pm... BUT there are smaller planes from 10am -12 (the actual approximate arrivals are online somewhere) so I read on a board about the
Island that you can walk into Phillips. and then just catch a bus to the airport area and hit that beach (two bars, one is topless one is not, they are on opposite sides of the runway, with a 4 & 6 yr old I believe we will go for the with tops one =-).... so I think we will either walk or water taxi into Phillips and head to backstreet and search for a bus heading that way and just see a couple smaller planes... I have no desire to go completely deaf from a really big one but know DS would love it, not so sure about DD though.

I hate I missed the late night excitement - had a getaway weekend to the lake - ahh to relax and do nothing (actually, it was hard to just lay in the sun - weird?)...

Wow you guys were chatty while I was away celebrating my anniversary!!!!! The conversations you girls had while waiting to make your ressies were hilarious.

I am home today from work & finally getting caught up on here. I didn't plan to take off today, but I injured myself a bit on my little adventure & needed to rest a bit.

We went for the first time to Palo on our last 4 night cruise & it was wonderful. I think it is 10$ per person for dinner & brunch & 5$ for tea. I think it is definetly worth it. Very upscale & romantic. The food is delicious & the service is excellent. The wait staff there is phenomenal & bring you stuff you don't even ask for because they want you to try it.
We went for dinner & brunch & if you are a brunch person it is wonderful....we felt a little strange eating all that rich food so early.
We are doing dinner & tea this time.
