Are you guys the one that have it on UTUBE......
I have seen one on there that is a girl in a parking lot ....... winter time......heavy coat on. And she is surprised with a trip.
I cry every time i watch it!!!!!

No - that is not us on UTUBE. I will have to take a look for it though and watch it!

I am SO excited!!! We got an upgrade! :cool1:

We had two Cat 12's booked and were upgraded to two Cat 9's!

My husband and I and one of our daugters are in 2092 and my mom, friend and our other daughter are in 2094.

Just looked and I got my stateroom assignment- was a gty 12, got 6313 11. Nice to get a small upgrade! :) :rotfl:

Anyone got any reviews on this room?

Cheers!

Hi Neighbor...
We are up a bit in Rm 6303.
Front of the ship!! hope we don't get any motion sickness!

So we went from a Cat 12 to an 11 also.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

With all the excitement about finding out the gty rooms, I decided to see if we got upgraded. Drumroll please...........no. Oh well, good thing I booked what I liked!

Kimmielee- I'm going to tell him about the cruise then also. I won't be able to hold it in after I tell him about WDW. Knowing my son and how laid back he is, he'll probably just shrug his shoulders, grin and say "Cool" very calmly. I'll be the one jumping up and down! :lmao:

31 MORE DAYS UNTIL WE LEAVE FOR WDW!!!!!!!!

Do y'all think the Eco Jetski Tour on Castaway Cay will sell out? Last time we were on St Martin we were able to rent a jetski for half of the price of the Disney excursion. Granted all we did was ride on the waves and not do an Eco Tour, but that's all Ethan wants to do anyway. I was thinking of cancelling and waiting until after St Martin to book it if we don't get to ride there. What do y'all think?:confused3

Isn't it better to book "to be safe rather than sorry"? I think you can cancel up to 24 hrs before the DCL tour too...just in case you decide to do something like that on St. Martin. Just a thought....

Hi neighbour! Clearly we have the best rooms n the house!!!:cool1:

Does the front of the ship normally get bad motion then?!?! I have a pretty strong stomach so I think I'll be fine!

(famous last words    )

Hi..the front of deck 6 rocks!!! :cool2: Well..that could be taken literally.

I've just heard that in stormier seas the front could feel more motion. Good thing we are on a higher level deck. Last time I cruised if I started to feel green I always went to an upper deck and felt better immediately.

We plan to take motion sickness pills a few days prior to the start of the cruise. My son tends to get motion sickness pretty easily.
...and of course who is going to take care of me if I get sick!

I'm sure all will be fine! We can't wait to go!!

I was wondering how far in advance you could cancel. I don't want to spend $ on St Martin just to turn around and do it again on CC. Call me cheap:lmao:

Just call me if you get sick, I'll have some prescription strength nausea meds.;) Moms traveling alone have to stick together.

I've sailed on DCL 3 times before and never felt sick so I'm not worried for this one. I work on a mountain too and have to take a gondola up to work every day, and I spend allot of time on mountain chair lifts too and they don't make me sick either, so fingers crossed I should be fine!

I went straight for the reviews and it seems as if this area is lovely and quiet, and great for quiet cove and the theatre, so things look good for us!

You are not cheap...you are one smart lady! :)

I've already cancelled my Sea Trek thru DCL. I was able to book it myself and save a few bucks plus we want to hang out at the beach after Coral World whereas Disney gets back to the ship too early.

I cancelled the bike reservations on CC too...I hear that is plentiful and if we decide to do it we'll just walk up to get a bike.

Yep...us moms need to stick together! Thanks!:flower3:

That's good...I'm sure we'll be doing a lot of walking though! :dance3:

Do you work at a ski resort???

Do you work at a ski resort???

Yeah, I work at Grouse Mountain in Vancouver- Restaurant in the Summer- Ski Instructor in the Winter. Looking for some sunshine in the Caribbean, then I am really ready for the snow to come!!!!!

Neat. I ski and my son is learning to snowboard. He had "snowboard school" at Keystone, CO and had to learn at 10,440 ft! He was worn out!

We haven't made it up to Whistler yet though... I have heard it is nice there.:goodvibes

Colorado must be amazing!

Whistler is superb- only done 3 days there but it is great! I would love to teach there on Saturdays but I don't know what job I am doing on Grouse this year, I wan't to be the lead instructor for the ski wee 3-6 yr old kids program and if I am I will have to work weekends. Grouse is great though, only 3700ft but 20 mins from downtown Van- open till 10 every night, and a beautiful view!

Compared to having no mountains in England anything skiable is great for me!

Hehe, but before the snow comes we have to cruise! Not long now!!!!!:goodvibes
