Just booked the October 26th Wonder out of Galveston! We'll be a family of 9. Me, my DH, our 8 month old. My brother, SIL, DN 5 and DN almost 3. And of course my awesome parents!

Who is going to be joining us for Halloween on the Wonder? pirate:

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

If Amy can handle the Valentine's Day Cruise I have already started grooming her for doing a Halloween Cruise. Halloween is my favorite holiday (birthday month and free candy!) and I've heard DCL does it up great.

Here's hoping,
Jim

We did the western Caribbean Sept 29th out of Galveston and had so much fun ... we are pretty sure we will be booking this one!!

We were also on the Sept 29 out of Galveston and are about 95% sure we are going to book this one

We just came off of the Mexican Riviera Halloween cruise and booked for 2013's halloween cruise on the Wonder.

DH - Kevin
DW - Nancy
DD - Stephanie 15
DD - Robin 13

Please add us to the cruise meet and in the FE list. Thanks so much!

We made the decision tonight to book on the Oct 26th cruise out of Galveston. We're all very excited as it's our first cruise. I'm curious if any of you purchased travel insurance? I am planning on it since this is right around the end of hurricane season. Very excited to be on board for Halloween!

So we're confirmed for the cruise and I did go with travel insurance. I've never booked a vacation this far in advance! I tend to be a spontaneous kind of gal!

Today marks 250 days until this cruise! :yay: I've bought the materials to make my FE and am already thinking about what gifts to make. I'm trying to get ahead of the game. Last night when I noticed I forgot to get black felt to make the Mickey ears, my husband said, "Gee do you think you'll have enough time between now and October to get it?" A real comedian, that man! LOL :rotfl:

We are lucky enough to be cruising on the March 29th out of Galveston as well as the Halloween cruise. Since I am making my FE gifts for that cruise, I have bought enough to make for both cruises. You aren't the only one starting early. Must be a Colorado thing!

A fellow Coloradan! Can I ask you how far in advance you purchase your airline tickets? I'm assuming you're flying out of DIA though I could be wrong. I'm debating whether to get tickets now through United or hold off until Southwest opens up their bookings for October.

We are going to wait awhile. Next month we are flying down to Houston for our Disney Magic cruise out of Galveston. Hobby is closer to the port than George Bush, but you will then need to get your own transportation, as Disney will only transport from Bush. Not a big deal, it is usually cheaper to do it yourself! I would wait for Southwest to open, probably 6 weeks or so. Right now United it $333 pp, while a Sat. to Sat. flight in Mid September is only $281. Hope the info helps!

Hi everyone! I'm officially reserved for this sailing. This would be my second Disney cruise (first was my honeymoon in November 2011). This will be our second wedding anniversary. Joining me is my DH. Please sign me up for the FE Exchange or let me know what I need to do to be added to the list.

Also, does anyone know if something special happens during Halloween on the sailing?

I'm super excited!!!! :cool1::cheer2:

Hey Starchild, welcome aboard! Since my last posting my oldest daughter and her husband are joining us. They will have just celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary when we sail!

I don't think anyone has started the FE list yet. I've never participated in an FE before so I've been hesitant to volunteer. We'll see how it goes and if no one raises their hand then I'll likely do it. There are certainly enough experts on the board to provide guidance.

I've been reading that there are some activities for Halloween but I've read some posts where there was disappointment that there weren't more activities. Regardless, we'll be ready for a great time! We plan on bringing costumes and I'll be making Halloween goodie bags for the kids (children and adults!) on the FE list!

Like you, I'm way excited! :woohoo:

CatDenver, wow that's awesome that they are celebrating their 2nd as well! We did do the FE Exchange on our first cruise so I have a general idea of how to do it. I don't mind creating a Google Doc or something like that to start a list going. I cannot wait!!!
