I have a question, my Aunt loves bingo. And I know on the Dream cruise they have games, so are there bingo games on the Fantasy. She would love to do this. And if so what is the cost to play.

Any help with this is appreciated.

Thanks for the info

ETA; Only 196 days to sail. We are finally getting close. lol.
It all relative.

Except for the sail date is actually continually approaching. lol.

My kids are getting very excited for this cruise. We have met some of the other kids going on the cruise and now they are in person friends. :grouphug:

Are we going to do a group Jamaica or Cayman, Cozumel thing or am I thinking of a different cruise? I thought one of the cruises brought up a group meeting place..

I haven't posted much, but now that we're sub-200 days to go I'm starting to get very excited and nervous.

This is DH and I's 2nd DCL cruise and my in-laws first cruise ever. The IL's are paid in full already and MIL has her new passport. We're waiting for Southwest to release flights through the end of the year so we can plan our return flight. What else should we be working/planning now?

We're visiting them next weekend for Easter and will hopefully decide on how we're going to do transportation to and from the port. It's just the 4 of us and I personally want to use Disney (I like letting Disney do all the work for me!). MIL is talking about renting a car but hasn't written off using Disney yet. Renting a car seems like too much work (renting from MCO, staying on Disney property the night before, driving to PC, dropping off rental, then post cruise getting another rental to drive back to MCO. Any suggestions/tips/pros/cons?

I usually hire a car and get dropped off right at the ship. Renting a car is less expensive than hiring a car and Disney maybe a little more for 4 people RT on the Disney bus. I'm not sure because I have never taken the Disney bus. I think though it is $35 per person each way?

Hopefully Bear is around to clarify the price, but I think I read that somewhere.

My kids are so excited about this cruise too :cool1: and have enjoyed getting to know their new in person friends too.:goodvibes

I believe it is $35 per person/each way. I've priced out car service and it seems way more expensive if we're talking two trips (to and from the port). My DH and I used Disney on our last cruise and it was so easy, well worth the price IMO. But we also have to work with my ILs as it's their trip too. It looked like we'd have 6 people at one point and hiring a car made more sense then (when split between 3 couples), now it's just the 4.....

I haven't told my dd yet. She would bug us everyday for 196 days if we told her now. I'm thinking about making it a total surprise for her anyways...

Oh ok, that is what I thought as well that hiring a car is more expensive. If you find Disney more convenient that I hope your in-laws are willing to do that. I know a lot of people on the DIS rent a car because they like to stop for alcohol before boarding the ship.

Every one is different so hopefully, you will be able to find whatever works best for your family. :)

I did that with Sam on the first cruise and it worked out really really well :) I am sure she will be so excited.:goodvibes

(4th post)Is there a different roll call list? I didn't see our names on the one on the first page?

Page 61 very last post. You are on there. It's a doc so click on the "roll call response" link and you will see you :) I think it is easier for everyone to add themselves than have one person try to keep updating. Or maybe I am just lazy :rotfl:

Yeah none of us a really big drinkers so that's not really necessary. I'm sure we'll get it all straightened out. I still have this nagging feeling that there's something we should be taking care of on top of that though....:confused3

I know that feeling. I still need a flight, however I think Southwest will have deals a late summer for mid fall.

I booked our flight down as soon as the dates were released. So we have our flight down on 10/24. :cool1:
Last time I waited for a sale and got burned. No sale, prices only went up. Ouch. I guess those Friday flights out of DC are popular even in the fall.

We are flying back Tuesday so I'll wait and play that sale game for the return flight, because those always go on sale about 6 weeks out. Our kids have no school Monday and Tuesday.

Guess we will have to get some absentee ballots. ;)

For cruises we rent a vehicle at MCO and keep the car the whole time and return car at MCO. It's so convenient.
We also pony up for parking at the port too. Again, soooo convenient. It's only money. lol.
Shuttles, luggage, kids, lines, crowds, oh my. Not worth the savings to me.

So it is becoming more real. Got a flight. Now I have to try to pay the DCL balance. :scared1: :lmao:
