Grandma4ever - ya'll have had your fair ::yes:: share of the snow this year. There was snow on the ground when we :car: through Kansas and Missouri this past December when we were going to Iowa for Christmas :santa:. Bet the trees and :daisy: will love all the extra moisture. When they get a chance to bloom.

The snow arrived but as expected did not stay for long. This was a good thing. It is still cold but it is expected to begin to warm up over the next few days.

I hope everyone is have a wonderful and productive weekend. See everyone real soon. Lois

Welcome to our group! This is gong to be a great cruise with an awesome DIS Group!!!

Whoops just realized I put the wrong room number. Stateroom 9170! And I'm so excited to joining this group thank you!

Hello guys!!! Just stepped off the Magic Sat. 8days with a stop at WDW. It was my kids first cruise and they are hooked!!! Booked on board so here we go again!!! Oh lets see its me Shea. Dh Terry. Dd Gracie 13. And dd Roza 10. So far. Last trip we kept adding people. Group got up to 12 Lol. Can't wait to do Halloween on the Fantasy. Trying to convince dh to let us go to WDW for four days before cruise. Fingers crossed. Love fe groups too. Ok I'm too excited

One other thing my last group did, which was a lot of fun, was a private mixology class. They even made a drink named after our group! Getting a private tasting like this requires someone with the ability to "pull some strings" with DCL.

From my understanding, the Dis-ers who pulled those strings on my last cruise have just booked this cruise! I'll wait until they officially join this thread before I start jumping to conclusions... but wouldn't that be fun???:thumbsup2

My last dis group had a private happy hour. We paid one person via paypal in advance and had an hour and half full bar and sessions all to our self's. Loved it

Welcome to the group!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Has anyone who has ever sailed the Fantacy ever been in a cat 8a or 7a room. We were in a 7a on the magic and loved it. Booked an 8a and 7a next door to each other deck 6 forward. Just wanted to see if I need to switch rooms

Welcome all newcomers. :cool1:

Are your sure you are on deck 6 and not 5? Are you sure this is a 7a next to an 8a on deck 6. My info says the balcony cabin next to the 8a on deck 6 is a 5d. I suppose because the balcony is barely obstructed unlike the other 7a's. Have you seen these photos?

The balcony next to the 8a on deck 5 is a 7a, but you really don't want those as the folks next door in the extended balcony 4e can look into your cabin.

Other than that I like your cabins if on deck 6. ;) I always wished they put a connecting door between these OV and adjoining verandas.

See you all soon. Well .... in 534 days. :lmao:

Yep your right. I get confused. I'm loving the 8a stateroom. Last time the family all ended up in my room. Hope this helps with space

Yes, these 8a's are huge. I like the ones with the wall separating the bed and couch. Never stayed in one but those with walls only sleep three. They are all a little different.

I take it you have seen these photos, see posts #47 and #50; http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2696288&page=4
What's interesting is Dream 6514 bed is in the normal configuration, but Fantasy 6016's bed is not. Porthole at foot of bed.

Have you stayed in this exact 8a booked for this cruise prior?

Looking forward to traveling with all of you!
Mommy2boo, DH, DD8 and DS 5 (at time of travel)

Popping in to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms, grandmas, etc. on our cruise! :thumbsup2

We just got off of the Carnival Breeze yesterday and had a great time. Was it Disney? No. Were there noticeable differences? Absolutely. But the price was right and we sure did manage to have fun! ;)

We saw the Dream in Nassau and that was the first time I we have been on the outside looking in on DCL. Thankfully we were never taunted by the horn since we left first! It was all good though cause we know in less than 18 short months we will be back on the wonderful Fantasy! (And not to Slight Oasis of the Seas, which we are excited to be sailing on this November!)

Just a reminder too I will open up the FE list June 1 so if you are on the fence about participating, now is the time to give it some thought. It is a whole lot of fun and doesn't have to be terribly expensive.:rolleyes1

:) Jen

Nope this will be first time. We always have had a nav verhanda. Loved the enclosed privacy on the magic... hope we like this one. I love love the portholes with the seats. Could sleep there lol

Hi all! Long time, no talk! I work two full time jobs as a labor and delivery nurse (it's a very small price to pay to have an at home dad and take our magnificent disney vacations!!), so I have very little time to do much other than work and sleep sometimes! :faint:

I was just wondering if there will be any other group activities other than the FE event? On our upcoming February cruise, the DIS group has put together six or seven different group activities that I think would be FANTASTIC for a Halloween cruise, so I just thought I'd check?!?!

It's finally finally getting a little warm here in Colorado. I am beyond sick of the cold. It was the longest winter EVER!! :cold:

Is anyone else excited that school is almost out? I know DH does 100% of the kid raising, but I am tired of seeing the backpacks, lunch bags and school project paraphernalia laying around the house ugh :(

Talk to everyone soon

Shannon
