October 25, 2014 Fantasy Western "The Not So Scary Halloween Cruise 2014" Part 2

For those with children on the cruise, are you taking them out of school or do they have the week off? My children attend an international school and have the week off.

If I set up a T-Shirt order, how many would be interested?

FB's ask too on that site for me. IFYKWIM ;)

Apparently this is going to happen fast and need quick responses considering we are 37 days out.

Please respond here if possible.

TIA

How much are the shirts? What size do they go up to? What color are they? Is it just a basic tshirt look? How would we pay? How would we receive them?

This is a game of 50 questions...:lmao:

We got our passports yesterday :yay::yay:! It was only a 13 day turn around :scared1:from the date of application & we did not expedite it. I'm so happy that we didn't pay extra ::yes::.

Bond, my kids have the week off (thank goodness), but we are taking a couple days the week prior to visit Diagon Alley!

Anyone nervous about about dinner table assignments? I've been reading the worst tablemate thread for awhile, some crack me up & others, well they make me go :scared1:

I'm new to all this. there will be my mother an father in law(bob and Julia), my partner (Beverley), me (Craig/Vinny(long story)) my son (Cole) 10 and my daughter (Lydia) 4. first time on dcl for us except her mum and dad. we have done DLP before so can grasp the all encompassing Disneyness of it all. were from Hull in the UK and wondered if there are any others from our part of the world. looking forward to meeting plenty of new people and not being complete strangers would help.

Welcome Vinny! This is my 1st cruise too! I'm really looking forward to it & I agree that it will be great to know people too!

Hello everyone, I'm sorry I haven't been on to update you all, but I really don't get on with disboards. I've had to reset my password everytime I use it and now I've received a warning for posting inappropriate links (to our fb page)!

The white rabbit FE group is still open, I have a couple of families to add who have Pm'd me! If you're interested please message me.

The roaming mickey is still available too, so if you'd like to participate in this, again you just need to pm me!

The meet and greet when we board the ship is scheduled for 3pm in the vista cafe on deck 4, there is no need to sign up, just roll up if you wish too

Thanks Sarah

You all are correct(of course) regarding the reluctance/refusal of printers, printing these images on T shirts. :sad1: :badpc:

Too many lawyers IMO. lol. :rotfl2:

Waiting to hear back from one more.

Basic conclusion from them; It's too Disney, personalize it more with names and such, and loose the mouse ears. Arrgh.

If only Vista Print offered quality T shirts. :scratchin

I'll get back to you tonight I anticipate.

No one will print the chosen images on shirts apparently except Vista Print. :confused3
I guess they have great lawyers. :rotfl2:

The problem is their shirts aren't the best quality. Wish they had better quality shirts and I would consider them.

Also it says those images aren't large enough; enough pixels per inch and may come out grainy.

So off to see if they can be resized. :confused3

So I see now why everyone is on their own. :rotfl:

ETA; Someone who printed shirts with the dcl logo on a past sailing gave me another company to checkout. Won't know now till Monday though. So one more lead. The chase continues. lol.

I had a feeling that this would be the case. I which Disney sold them for each cruise, they'd make some good money that way. Kind of like their Hanes store at DTD.

Great idea. It sure would be easier. DCL is missing a source of revenue. ? ? ? Shocking. :rotfl2:

The other two leads, who have printed more Disneyified T shirts in the past, will be contacted Monday. They are not responding on Saturday.

If they say no, we will move on to printable iron decals.

Will keep everyone informed.

Since this is my 1st cruise I have no idea, but what documents do they send?

It's this book and the luggage tags. The book contains the ships info, contact cards you can leave for your family, the itinerary, legal info....
