Now I know most parents think their kids are really cute - it is hard for them to be objective - so - as non-partial outsider I would like to tell you - your kids are gorgeous!! I like how they were so willing to pose!

thanx EVERYONE for all the great comments on my babies, for those of you who dont know thats the Disney Resort in Vero in the background. Yes we live right down the road from it.

Just checking in...hope you've all had a nice weekend. It was pretty here but cool. We went kite flying yesteday afternoon so no time for the chat room. Sounds like it was fun, though! Teeheehee.

My husband has turned me into such a geek, we've spent the last two nights watching Battlestar Gallactica, Torchwood and Dr. Who. We're still getting caught up and cleaning out the Tivo! Any SciFi channel fans out there?

Spent most of the day digital scrapbooking, I have to do a bunch of pages for a friend's memory album....such fun!

I love digital scrapbooking! It's the only way I get any of that kind of stuff done.

Well...we are one step closer. I just made ressies for a Grand Villa at Saratoga Springs for the night before the cruise. We decided it was just to much of a risk flying in the day of the cruise. I know we could have stayed close to MCO or the port, but it seems somewhat "free" when I just have to pay with points!

Well, we can get there now. As is the case for the 3rd straight late October trip, Southwest opened their schedule enough for me to get us to MCO, but not back. It would be nice to get both at once, as there are some discounts for round trips. But we got a late afternoon flight, which we wanted this year. DW is working 1/2 day, to save vacation time. And we'll save money by not eating at some expensive Hyatt airport restaurant for dinner (we'll arrive too late to eat a big dinner). Now, we have to hope for good flight times coming back.

Max is less than 2 weeks away. FTK Duramax is a 4yo (this Saturday), male, 70#, dark brindle greyhound. He raced over 130 times over a 2+ year period, and is now retired. I spoke of our adoption aspirations before, but he's due up from Palm Beach on 5/3. I've got some photos, and will look to post one soon. We've started to buy dog items, and are really looking forward to meeting him.

Dogs are wonderful and you're doing a great thing! I miss my dog so much but am just not ready to get another yet. No other dog can take his place. We had him for 14 years, got him about a month after we were married and had to have him put down when Tori was just over a year old. He had cancer, cataracts, and was deaf. He wasn't eating and just had no life in him. It was a hard decision but we had to do it.

Animals are such a joy in your life!
