Hello everyone! My wife and I are going on our first Disney Cruise, thanks to our resourceful neighbor (Thanks, Mommy2777). I am Rob, and my wife is Missy. We have never been on a cruise before and are looking forward to this experience.

WELCOME!!! You have come to a great place to find out everything you need to know for the cruise! This is my 3rd and I am still finding out new things!

I was in chat around 8 but there wasn't anyone else there so I decided to finish up the laundry.

Missed chat last night, sorry! We were at friends house until 9 pm, got home and the kids in bed (took about 2 minutes!!!) then, thanks to the wonderful rum and coke I had with our St. Maarten rum from last cruise, I went to bed at 9:30! YES I DID!!! Slept through til 7:40 this morning and I felt like a new woman! Just was very disappointed when I looked in the mirror and wasn't.....bummer....hey, everyone can dream, right?!

Hi everyone! I feel terrible to not have posted in so long. All is well but it's just been a really hectic last few months. I tried reading through everything since I last checked in but it was overwhelming! Over 50 pages! So there's just no way. But I have thought about you and wanted to get back in the swing, so we have plenty of friends onboard! It makes the trip so much more fun.

I thought I saw something about shirts? Is it too late to get in on that?

Also, I still haven't booked our flights but am pretty sure we will fly in on Friday and stay somewhere. We tried a red-eye (again) to Boston for winter ski break and I truly felt I was in hell somewhere over Oklahoma or some other mid-western state. All I wanted in the entire universe was to lay down in that filthy aisle for just ten minutes of sleep. And no, I don't think I'm being overdramatic!

Is anyone else staying near port on Friday? Do y'all do a Friday night get together? I saw something about an MNSHHP party (what was that insider acronym?) and didn't know what that is.

We did swing into Disneyland for a one-day visit for my birthday earlier this month. I was completely overwhelmed by all the pirate gear and ended up with NOTHING! YIKES! It's just so hard to shop with my family and mother in tow. My mom lives about 45 minutes from D-land so I think I may just drive down to Anaheim and shop one day when we're visiting in the next few months!

Oh, I'm seriously considering a private ruins tour in Costa Maya, would anyone else be interested? We are a family of four, two girls (10 and almost 7) at cruise time. We are non-smokers, easy going, people seem to think we're pretty good company and we LOVE a cocktail or two at the end of the day!

Also, to those who asked about scrapbooking, I will try to figure out how to post something! I've never scrapped my Disney photos digitally, though, because there isn't much Disney stuff to use. I'm eyeing a kit on ebay, but it's not as cute as the paper stuff.

Anyway, cheers to all and I promise to try to stay on top of things. Let me know if I've missed anything crucial!

Still crazy busy here in Tampa. We check in to Pop Century on Sunday for a Spring Break week of R & R.

Oh my I have t rant and rave abotu this situation to soemone who may understand!!!!!!!

I am trying EVER so hard to make an itenerary as i was asked to by Dhs family for OUR FAMILY VACATION!

But they arre just making it sooooo hard.

I have asked them what they want to do for dinners..............their reply is mostly go back to the car and eat a packed lunch?????????????????? you want to what, with all the great things WDW has to offer to eat and great restaurants which to us are part of the attraction itself and you want to pack a lunch???????????????????????

I have asked them to rate each ride 1-4 so i would know what they wanted to do and what they didnt want to do................4 kids so it couldbe a toss up as to what theyw ant to do...........we only have 5 days cant do it all.

And they are unwilling to do this...............they say they trust my judgement.....OH HOW SWEET yeah trust my judgement till we get in the parks and noone wants to do what is on the itenerary.......

UUUUUUUUUGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I refuse to pay for a 5 day ticket for my family and then have then screw it up with uncooperation!!!!!!!!!!

is this their first time
If I was you book one or two places to eat that you think they would like and if they still want to go back to the car for a pincin let them and meet up with they afterwards

Yes this is their first time.

And maybe you arre right..........I guess too much info can be a bad thing sometimes.

I just dont want to spend $880 to purchase our tickets and have a bad time.
My kids are used to a set itenerary when we go tot eh parks are are accustomed to it and owuld not be without one. they like the fact that we join together iont he process of makign the itenerary then weget their we dotn have to think about what we are goign to do next mom has it written down!!!!!!!!!!!

I will back off cuz i take what are are getting at.

This is EXACTLY why we are keeping our cruise a secret from my husbands family, its always a mess when they are involoved. keeping it a secret until the last second so theres no chance of them coming with us. hehehehehe
