we spent a couple hours there and i HATED IT!!!!!!!!!
i am sure you could spend as long as you wanted to and there are several tours.

I know the weather sucks here right now. My DH is a supervisor for the streets department of a Chicago suburb. I haven't seen him much lately. I just keep thinking $$$ for Disney!

There was a thread last week that stated that the pier repair at Costa Maya was 3 months ahead of schd. and that it was 58% repaired. It said that they are expected to open at the end of the summer.

We booked the 4 points sheraton. we will be flying in Friday am and will rent a car and explore Cape Canaveral space center. We are pulling the kids out of school for 6 days. Our reasoning with the teachers is a couple reports on Mexico and the space center.

A question for the Florida residents ~ will we have time to explore the center?

I think you would have plenty of time to explore. It will take you less than a hour to get to the Cape from ORMC.

Congrats on your 1000 posts. I have a ways to go.

I worked nights last night. Going into work it was snowy and blowing , some ice. The temp was not bad. I wore just a sweatshirt. Boy was I sorry this morning. 2 degrees and windchill -20. Roads were thick ice and it took me almost an hour to get home instead of 20 minutes. I have to jump in bed because I have to be back for evening shift. Yuck! Why did I agree to that?

Sorry I have been MIA everyone, lots going on right now but things have calmed down and life is once again great!!!!!!

Not 100% sure what our plan is we are for sure going to Disney for 1 day and will stay at Sports, DS wants to stay there. So not sure if we will fly in Thursday or Friday. DS and DH would love to go to Kennedy again, they loved it. DD and I where bored to tears

really enjoyed the video the last time

Had a great night we were at a dinner dance we stayed over too which was great , did'nt get to bed unti after 5 this morning , DS had the day off so we were in no hurry getting back home ,
so need an early night

hoping to stay at the Beach club , need to wait until March until we can book with DVC at the 7 month mark , I know it will be busy then with the F&W so might'nt get it but will be staying at one of the DVC resorts
we are ther 9 nights before , don't think I could stay at AKL that long and really don't want to be changing resorts ,

Have you seen anything like the excussion we done on St Thomas , the boys really enjoy that one ,

We're well. The hospital is non-stop busy for me. Christine is enjoying working at home. She's waiting for the next overtime incentive to be announced. Of course, we're hoping its Disney-related, but aren't holding our breath.

I seem to recall a similar excursion, with clear bottom kayaks, at Cozumel or Costa Maya. Can't recall for sure. If I spot it, I'll post. There is a kayak, snorkel, hike tour of CC. Our goal was to do the singrays last year, the kayak on the first stop this year, and nothing on the 2nd stop. Having to rethink things. Probably doing stingrays on the first CC day.

We're all booked for the Hyatt/airport the night before! We're having Happy Limo to take us to/from the cruise. Really like them, like all the drivers! I love the prebooking stuff and all.....yes, I really get into planning but I tend to overthink things instead of just enjoying the moment, so this cruise I'm going to TRY to not plan every minute! I want to relax and enjoy and have fun with my friends! I think I will try a few spa things this time....maybe even the massage....aaaaahhh, think about it, the waves crashing in the background, the gentle breeze blowing the heat off, quietness....okay, I really want to be on Castaway Cay right now!!! LOL!

Night all! If I don't get on the boards tomorrow, I'll at least try to get into the chat earlier!!!!!

Just for fun, I repriced this cruise for a category 6 stateroom. We booked a cat 6 last February, shortly after the schedule was released. The price now is $1000 more than we paid. I reviewed our files and the DCL page 3 times to confirm it. Wow.

Happy's web site talks about MCO parking, toll, and other surcharges. What kind of add-on fees have you experienced? Other than tips, of course.

I seem to be going at a slower pace this time around i guess........
WOWimagine that it must be the age!!!!!

We dont have any idea where we will stay before the cruise....
We dont know how we will tell the kids................................
I have not YET purchsed INSURANCE BUT I WILL...................

And the only clothing i know for sure are
ANYTHING THAT STILL FITS SON FROM LAST CRUISE!!!!!!!!

I thought we would be closer to the luanch pads and see the REAL stuff!!!!!
Youhad to take the tours to see this stuff........there were several "learning type buildings" which reminded me of the ques preride at DISNEY!
