Sorry guys didn't get online last night. ActuallY I have been away from this thread and the weight loss one for awhile. I have been a bit depressed this last week, had a MRI done on my head and was quite anxious waiting for the results and all kinds of horrible things going through my mind. However, DR appt was great and got the all clear......SO GAME ON!!!!!! We are cruising soon.

My goal is to now have as many posts as Dizzi

Hope everyone is doing great, I havn't read the old posts.

jns... We ended up with another cat too. Already have 4. This one is a lovely gray cat. He was very thin and skittish when he started coming around in the summer. I feed and watered him(and every other animal that came up on the porch). When it got really cold my DH let him in. He stays in most of the time but he lets me know when he wants out. I really wish I could find him a home but have not had any luck. Anybody want a cat?

Just back from a horrible cheer comp...........
well the comp wasnt horrible just the travel to get to and from.
We went by bus about 6 hours maybe 7 hours...from here (ft lauderdale) to jekyll island GA!
It was cold!

i hated the bus!

At soem points i hated the cheer leaders!!!!!
And i hated the food we had to eat!

So glad to be home and just sucks that i do have to go in to work but only for 3 hours to close store!!!!!

JNS.....Just leave food in the bowl the cat will eat when hungry!!!

I did get lets say 45 % of my scrap book done it was a bit hard to get it organized and that took up a lot of my drive their on the bus. I started with a bag FULL of stuff from the cruise, a fresh scrapbook, and a fresh picture album, and a HUGE HUGE stack of pictures!!!!!! Now have all picute book filled and scrap book getting there!!! Not bad for doing everything on my lap in a bus and at a cheer comp!!!!!!!

jns not sure how much my cats eat, I feed them dry food in an automatic feeder. It holds like 3 pounds and we fill it when it gets empty. Of course we have 4 regular cats and the visiting cat and sometimes it takes longer to empty than other times.

dizzi. I would love to catch up with your post count but I don't think I would stand a chance.

Took today off work, I think I finally caught the flu/cold that has been going through my house since Christmas, DH has had it twice so I won't complain.

I am sorry to be bringing sad news to this thread, but I just wanted all my cruisemates to know that my dear Dad passed away on Saturday morning.
Even though I had been expecting this for a few days I am absolutely devastated - he is such a good person and did not deserve this. I was with him until the end, as was my Mum and my sister, and it was desperately sad. I am just so relieved that he is no longer suffering, as the last few days were horrible, and I am so angry that yet another lovely person has been lost to this horrible and evil disease.

I know I will have to try and think positive as Dad remained so positive throughout, and never ever complained. The way he coped and his strength and courage were truly inspirational, and that is what I must focus on when trying to pick up the pieces. My Dad loved to cruise, and I am now happy that I have something he loved to focus on.

I would like to thank those of you who sent me messages of support - it has really meant a lot to me.

Yes, I am sorry to hear the news about your Dad as well. I have not lost my parents yet but they are getting older and the fear is always there. I am glad that your Dad is no longer suffering and my heart and prayers go out to you and your family!
