Chat was so much fun last night and really helped time pass.
Just got back from hospital and DS is now offically 3 years OT and all scans came back clear, NED (no evidence of disease)

Oh, Tammy that is the best news ever! Give Trent a big hug from us and let him know we're so happy! Well, 13 year olds sometimes don't do hugs so a high five will do!!! We're so happy for you guys and it was fun on chat last night! Glad it helped pass the time for you! Anytime, as we addicts say!!!

StaciJo, that magnet holder door thing sounds great! I'm forever misplacing my keys and had to make a key and a sunglasses box near our front door. Boy has it been a God send! Hardly ever lose them anymore...

I digress....I didn't see those at Target...any chance we could see a picture of one????

I did get the coolest locker racks at Target for Tori's room. Her dressers are a disaster and you can barely see the tops. Well, now everything is in order and looks fabulous! I can even see partial top of her double dresser now! The high-boy is a lost cause because it's taller than me and if I can't see it, I don't clean it! Cobwebs love my walls in my house!!!

Dana, hope your work day went well and quick. Enjoy your day off work tomorrow - you sure deserve it!!!! And let us know how Kyle's first game goes! Make sure to get pictures of stinky-sweaty boy after the game! Gotta put that in a scrapbook somewhere!

Just realized didn't answer my own poll questions....

1. Are you wearing t-shirts with our logo on them? That's the plan - unless I completely fool them up . But will also be wearing those lanyards (thanks again Dana! ).

2. Are you dressing up for Pirate Night? Number of adults and/or kids? Again - that is the plan, for the adults (2) and the kids (2). Have pieces of costumes picked up, need to finish off.

3. Are you dressing up for Halloween? Number of adults and/or kids?
Yes, that is also the plan for both adults and kids. Although the adults may be wearing the pirate costumes for both nights, depending on how on the ball I get, and packing challenges.

4. Are you decorating your door? Again - yes. But as I'm answering these questions, I realize I still have a lot of work to do

5. Formal or cocktail length gown - hubby will look real cute in that new floor lenghth spagetti strap...oh, wait - that's mine!! . Have floor length for formal night, and not sure if wearing favorite cocktail length for semi-formal, or another longer one I have. Decisions, decisions!

6. Tux or suit for hubby? For formal night, hubby will wear his black suit, I think, although he also has a favorite green one. Problem is, your's truly accidentally washed his dry clean only pants that belong to favorite suit and not sure they can be salvaged . Boys - 11 & 9 - will be in shirts and ties for both nights, hubby will be in shirt and tie for semi-formal. Would love to get all three of my guys in tuxes, but not a hope of that I am afraid

Will have to eventually get around to doing a tally of all the responses so far - but great to see so many reply!!

Re: Dresses -- I have a long gown for formal and a cocktail dress for semiformal.

DH just bought a smokin suit at men's wearhouse for formal and a sportcoat for semi....

Tara, I asked DH because I wasn't sure but he did remember seeing a Marine and an Army uniform on the cruise. So, Yes would be the answer to the military dress uniform.

i too have magnetic organizers that hang on my fridge, they are smaller though, they come in different sizes and i found them at the dollar general or one of those dollar stores, cant remember, i'll post pics later. but i will be bringing them with us, its agreat idea!

Thanks, Staci! That is really cool and will check into them! Dh liked them too which is a big plus....just have to be able to pack it, was his negative comment....so we'll be on the lookout!

We pack ours on the bottom of the bag, against an edge (so the back and bottom are against the bottom and edge of the bag), and make sure we pack stuff into it, so it takes up almost no space. They do make smaller ones, but on the days we were going into port, we put wallets and the like in it the night before, as well, so we had it all together, so I prefer the larger size. But that's just me. (I'm not going to admit we're not organized. It's just not going to happen. I will, however, hint at it...strongly.)

I've never seen one at a dollar store, but if that's the case, even better! I've actually never seen one anywhere but Target during their back-to-school sale, but I've never actually gone looking (I got lucky and stumbled upon it last year when looking for something else in that area).

And I'm glad the picture worked. I had this vision of me spending hours just trying to figure it out, posting and reposting, but I've seen enough posts with people explaining it. I guess I was trained and didn't even know it!

Well, it's Saturday and I have nothing on the books for this morning (suprise birthday party for Isa and Abby's mom this afternoon!) so I'm heading out to the stores - after I make the potato salad - to do some serious cruise clothes shopping! I figure between the strip mall stores and Potomac Mills Mall (which I normally detest going to!!) that I have to be able to find SOMETHING that I really like! If I can't then it's off to Tyson's Corner Mall and Galleria when we get back from Disney (that would make it September!!).

I just wish this were more fun than it feeling like "Mission:Impossible"!

2 younger kids, probably. Me, DH, and oldest son, probably minimal.

Halloween costumes?
ABSOLUTELY!! Trying to come up with a family theme.

Door decor? Yup, it may not be the prettiest, but I'll have something!
