Just needed to gloat. We are very excited in my family. We had a brand new baby girl cousin this morning. Welcome to Mikayla Kylie, all 10 lbs, 14oz, 21.5 inches of her!

Congrats to my D.D. Rachel who has got her A.S. exam results,1-A and 3-Bs,

Just thought I'd try to get an idea of what everyone is doing - right now we're planning on dressing for Halloween and Pirate night - although the adults might be pirates for both nights to cut down on packing! But don't want to have to listen to hubbie say "YOU made me dress like this and no one else is??" for the duration of the cruise - not to mention the rest of my life !

Nope, matching Mickey/Minnie shirts BUT I will be wearing my awesome HOTHS lanyard with the logo on it!!!

In a way....we have Pirate and Princess shirts from the party in 2007 and maybe a bandana or two....

Adults, no, Kids, only the wee ones....2

OH YES! Magnets and Birthday stuff for Ameera (after all this is her celebration!!) Maybe throw in an anniversary magnet along the way!

2 adults: We are going tropical that night as our Pirate gear is too big on us now (yeah for WW)

Yes -- but how it comes out is anyone's guess

prob not... DH is a fuddy duddy... I will probably wear all black with some black fishnets or something... and I did buy this awesome orange and black lace parasol type thing....

I am putting stuff on it but dont know if it will count as "decoration"

DISNEY MAGIC CONVERTS NAYSAYERS!

We took my BIL and SIL a few years back to Disney with us. They'd never been and couldn't see the excitement in it (HUH?!). Well, they've been back every year now and take more family with them! Disney magic works! They love going and look forward to it every year!

So BIL Has to go to China on business and only has one day off while there.....HE GOES TO HONG KONG DISNEYLAND!!! Is that funny or what!?! He sent home a few pins each for them, too. Such a nice BIL.......wish he'd had room in his luggage for us, though....bummer...

Jenn - you don't have to do lime green for the shirts. Because this is a Halloween cruise, we decided a long time ago that we could also use black and orange - so a few more choices!

they have specials iron on paper for dark clothing, turs out great from what i've heard.

That is actually what I bought this past weekend... I was planning on using it on the lime green shirts.... (dh and i argued in the aisle as to whether or not to get the stuff for dark shirts or light... glad I won that debate)

I will buy some shirts and give it a whirl... will let you know how they come out... don't hold your breath though... this is the type of thing i would do the night before.... but i am sure there will be a plethora of chatting interrupted by fits of packing going on then...

Bandanas - of course. Probably not much more!

My kids are - I wanted too as well. DH says no. SO it may just depend on if I can fit it in the suitcase.

Umm...I don't know. It depends on if I get ambitious, and if I do get ambitious, if I mess it up. I'd call us a definite "maybe."

You bet! 2 adults and 1 child. I haven't convinced the in-laws yet, though. Last year, a group of kids mistook DH for Captain Jack Sparrow while we were waiting for Captain Jack to appear. Personally, I'm not sure how it happened, because...well, my husband would never be asked to play Jack Sparrow even if they had the best costume in the world (I can say that because he's not home right now...), but it amused him greatly, and DD thought it was fun. DH enjoyed the few pictures some of the kids asked for him to pose for. Those poor parents are probably wondering about their kids. And I, of course, have to deal with DH thinking he looks just like Johnny Depp...with the appropriate hair and clothes, at least.

Yup. We'll have 4 adults and 1 child dressed up.

4. Are you decorating your door?
Absolutely! Isn't that the best part of planning the cruise - making the door decorations??

I should probably have mentioned earlier that I'm really, really excited about Disney cruises in general....

3) DH and I (aka: boring parental units) are not dressing up but the girls will and not sure about DS.
