Arlene,
Sorry to hear about your grandma - I lost mine 2 years ago on 8/30/2006 and still miss her greatly

DCL Documents
Our documents arrvied yesterday :)

Questions of the Day
1. What is your favorite adult drink and why? Do you plan on trying the drink of the day or do you just stick with your fav?
I love "Miami Vice"! (mixture of Strawberry Dacquiri & Pina Colada) - I will also have a "Konk Kooler" (or two) while at Castaway Cay

2. Do you plan on spending time in the adult areas (clubs, Cove Cafe, pool, Serenity bay) or is this your FAMILY vacation that you spend the majority of time together (family beach on CC, pool time all together, etc...)We are traveling with 4 adults - so yes! One of us (Linda) will be at the adult pool the entire time she is on the ship and the sun is in the sky! The rest of us will simply check in there! We will also hit Cove Cafe once or twice

3. Do you drink coffee? If you do, will you try the coffees at Cove Cafe? (I've heard they have nice ones there!)
I think out of the 4 of us I am the only coffee drinker - and will need to start each day with several cups - This might be the trip that I get adventurous enough to try something new at the cafe . . .

4. What is your favorite Disney Song?
"When you wish upon a Star" - and I will probably cry each time I hear it!

All Roll-Call information should be up to date - if you see any issues or want to add more information please PM me!

Janice - sorry to hear you are unwell - sending some :wizard: for a quick recovery and a  because you probably need one!

I have just returned from urology OPD and fortunately the results of my tests were all ok - the symptoms are also improving and the registrar thinks that it was actually caused by a bad UTI which didn't respond to antibiotics but eventually I will sort it out myself. Nothing physiologically wrong, apart from the gynae dept. (prolapse) , and he didn't even think that was too bad - no surgery required yet - so thats great news!

Hope you had good news from your appt too Jenn!

Bonjour from Disneyland Paris.

I have been away from the boards as we are on our extended vacation. Two weeks ago we visited Hong Kong Disneyland.

We look forward to cruising with all of you real soon.

Woody, nice vacation! Ever think of adopting an older daughter? Hmmmm????

Sarah, a somewhat good report sounds like. Glad you are feeling better and on the mend it sounds like!

What does a "normal" weekend look like to you and your family?

Weekends are a favorite around here! No getting up early and we try to have a family breakfast on Saturday with something special. We start out with Family Friday. Dinner of choice (usually out to our fav local pizza joint - the place where "everybody knows your name") and Tori's pick for a movie or game. Saturday we try to catch up with friends and do something fun. Sunday is church, church and more church. Am is church and Sunday School, evening is AWANA for Ed and Tori while Ameera and I go to Family study. We get time enough in the afternoon for lunch and a quick nap.

So everybody have a great weekend! We're heading to the pumpkin patch tomorrow and Festi-Fall at our church!! WHOOHOO!!!

Any weekend that VA TECH plays at home, the entire weekend is centered around that game. :goodvibes We will drive up this afternoon, set up the rv, and proceed to have a fabulous weekend with 65,000 of our closest friends:laughing: We generally take the kiddos and the dog (and lots of junk food sodas and beer). The kids play, we grill and chat with other camping tailgaters, and the dog sleeps:)

Most weekends we try to get our errands done that we weren't able to do during the week. Usually on Saturdays. And Sundays we clean house, do laundry, and veg out. And now with school activities in abundance, we have to get all of those in as well. This Saturday, both girls have Marching Band competitions 2 hours away from each other. We will have to miss one. I hate that. :sad2: And Sunday they are both supposed to dance at our small town Octoberfest. Always on the go it seems.

Well, only 2 more Fridays until we are at Epcot! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Have a great weekend. :goodvibes

I am S-O-O-O green with envy about now. ::yes:: :maleficen :bounce: :yoda: :hmghost: - okay that's all the green smilies I see.

Have a safe trip. Please post the details... I may never get to Hong Kong. Right now I'm doing well to get my kids to school on time:rolleyes1

Sorry Janice! Hope you are feeling better real soon! Nelson is  too... home from work today (on my day off :headache: ) LOL. He is so lucky I :lovestruc him...

The way I see it though (not that I want anyone to get sick) but bring on the colds NOW... we can fight our way through them and be good to go in 3 weeks... I have been extra-vigilant on taking my vitamins and extra Vitamin C every day...

Hey! Aren't there a couple nurses hanging around here? Is taking aspirin before flying a good idea to avoid possible blood clots? I keep meaning to ask the Dr. (God knows I see him enough)....

I had posted about this before and never got much of a response... So here goes again...

I have already bought and paid for this CD... There is a way that we can split the cost and share it... Anyone interested?

It would work like this...

Once everyone gets home from their trips they would log onto the photopass site with the username and password i give them.... they would enter in their photopass number(s) and load their pictures onto this one account. Once everyone has loaded their pictures and done their editing (we would set a deadline) then I would go and order the CD... Once I get the CD I would make copies for the people interested and mail them to you...

The CD cost me 90 something dollars... the cost would just be the 90 divided by how many people join in.... I dont think the cds, cases, and shipping will cost that much but we can find out then just add that nominal amount....

There are some big photopass shares out there on the boards... I dont want this to get like that... I only want to open it up to those crusing with us... .

Let me know your thoughts....

Well Fridays and Saturdays are my weekend since I work Sundays (the joy of being a Church Secretary)... So today, as soon as I am done here... I am heading over to mom's tanning salon to work on my pre-vacation tan.... then off to get my nails done (I go every three weeks - so this the last trip to my nail tech before the BIG (nails/vacation pedicure) trip... :woohoo: after than I will probably head into work (yep. day off. no such thing.) Nelson is home sick so there is not much I can do except set him up with everything he needs and let him veg on the couch with his hand surgically attached to the remote...

Tomorrow is Dsis soccer game in the am... (she is goalie on the jv team as a freshman) and Dbro college football game in the afternoon... Also the littlest Dbro has a soccer game in the afternoon after which Nelson is taking both Dsis and littlest Dbro to a New England Revolution Soccer game... ahhhh... quiet house, chat, what more could I want? ;)

Sunday is like Suzie... Church, church, and more church....

I have like 6 baptisms I need to be there for (after church) as a deacon.... :headache: I know... not nice to complain about a wonderful thing... its a good thing... but we are the only church in the city that does baptisms for children of non-married, previously divorced, and gay/lesbian parents... so we do SOOOO MANY!!!!

Sunday afternoons... usually include grocery shopping, cleaning and napping... usually more of the third thing.... :lmao:

Sorry :sad2: about the long post... but there was a lot to say today... :yay:

Sorry I missed chat last night. I was set to log in but got caught up watching TV.

I have 2 out 3 kids with Strep right now. Just waiting on the 3rd to get it. She usually is symptom less with Strep but gets cranky, weepy and tired.
It could be awhile before I figure out if she has it or not!

I didn't figure it out last time until her Kinder teacher told me it was an off week and that day she did a handstand in class! I took off to the Dr's because something wasn't right. She was off at home as well. She had strep. Turned out that time all 3 of them got it.

We got our cruise documents yesterday, YIPPEE :cool1:

All our costumes are ordered and are on there way to us.

A typical weekend for us has us our 2 DDs playing soccer and hockey on Saturday and Sunday. In between that we visit family and hang out. I wish I could say its relaxing but its not always so. I think we need 3 day weekends every week.

I don't drink coffee but I am absultely addicted to Starbucks Mocha Light Frappachino.

We will not spend any time in the adult area's at Castaway Cay. Probably will not get any time at the Adult area on the ship either. Next trip when our youngest is old enough for the club, we will visit those areas I am sure!

I am truly getting excited now!

I finally got the suitcases out and started packing! Whoop Whoop:cool1: Boy does it feel nice to know some things are packed, ready and out of the way.:cloud9:

QOTD:
