October 23, 2008; Wonder-ful Cruisin!

Questions guys:

1) see from other threads that they did post a deadline for signing up (guess to make it easier for those getting goodies together?) should we do the same & if so, what date?popcorn::

2) was this mentioned on SR cruise thread:confused: yet

A deadline is probably a good idea. Maybe the weekend two weeks before the cruise since some of us are travelling the week before?

I posted my FE on the SR forum. Not sure how many aren't cross users of both forums.

I'm in for the FE. It's my mom and I in the room.

Are we doing themes for the suprises?

I do think we should post our cabin numbers though. I would like to make sure I find everyone. I don't have a cabin number but that could always be updated later, right?

ur on the list:banana:

def need a deadline, im leaving on 10/18 would like to get my ducks in a row:)

whatever u decide, was laughing when i read some of the meets had 150+ participants:scared1: & that it took hours to deliver...im glad it appears we'll have a more manageable group

Okay, how about a sign up deadline of October 9, which is 2 weeks prior to the cruise?

Then post your cabin number when you get it. I think mine is 7035 but I'll check closer to the sail date.

Sorry we are GTY and as soon they give me our cabin #'s I'll update.

Great idea about the deadline. :worship: I have something from FL :flower3: , something for Pirate night pirate: , and something I made :stir:- oh and a small something to eat (prepackaged) LOL Okay can ya tell I'm freakin excited :lmao:

hey Sonia & here i was so proud of myself because i went out & bought material to make the FE yesterday:laughing: & u already know what ur goodies r!

i had to go to podiatrist today & get a cortisone shot & bunch of pills for foot, evidently i've grown a new bone spur:rolleyes: . told him i had a cruise & orlando trip that i wasn't missing, so he's planning on giving me one more in a month...it's what i get for not wearing my crocs all the time;)

You should be proud! Once you have the FE done its cake from there.

ouch! I'll take a double shot - but with no needles please!!!!

Sonia

im thinking since it's a short cruise, i'm going to just 'bag' the various things (i haven't ordered yet lol) and deposit once:confused:

leaning towards pirate'y goodies...so far;)

Oh piraty goodies sound fun!! I was thinking about something from around where I live. And maybe something Disney'ish of course from the dollar store.

Do you think we should also list the number of people/participants in each cabin? For example we have 4 adults (not related) in ours. I would love to know where there are kids v. adults, too, because the kids might get more appropriate stuff for them whereas the adults would get something different. I don't know... I've never done this before but am starting to get SUPER excited!!!

I would love to know # of adults and kids. I think it's a good idea in case I can come up with ideas for each. I need to get out and start looking for gifts.

I also think this is a good idea. I don't wanna miss giving something or getting to do an activity cuz I'm running around. It's my first cruise so I don't know much about layout or anything.

Also, do we want to all meet up somewhere, some how? Maybe some precvious cruisers could help out with something like that.

and about my cabin number... I'm cat 12 GTY also

My friend and I just decided we wanted to do Atlantis Beach Day -- anyone else doing this? Or has anyone done it before with experiences to share?

I am excited!!

Oh goody, you can take lots of pictures and show me! :rotfl:

Okay, I will do that!! I was really pushing hard to get her to go to Epcot with me the day before the cruise and then spending Nassau day on the ship (Atlantis is basically the same money as a one-day WDW ticket), but since Atlantis is more of a one-time-only experience that's what was picked. I guess that does make sense, even though I was hoping to get in on Food & Wine!

But I am looking forward to seeing Atlantis.

lots of us waiting for that coveted upgrade:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

very good idea re indicating whether cabinmates r adult or child/teen:thumbsup2

i updated mine, please list once more (im dim lol) as to particulars please & i'll add the info to 1st post!

got my FE done, need some sort of string/ribbon to tie it on & i'll post pic:)

we're doing Atlantis:goodvibes , way too cheap to book the excursion though DCL lol.booked the Choice Suites (total $157 SAMS rate, a good LPGA one available on their site too) & figure we'll grab a cab. You get to use all the facilities @ Atlantis too.

a meet is a good idea too, maybe sailaway? not sure how many here r part of SR group...or whether there r any plans in place:confused3

:goodvibes :dance3:
what category did u book?

u booked thru TA/Gail? just wondering, did ur docs come from her or DCL?

a couple of us here r GTY & still 'unpatiently' waiting;)

Shelly and I are in the same cabin and I got my docs when she doesn't have hers. We are in Cat. 11 and booked with Gail. The docs came directly from DCL by Fed Ex.
