October 23, 2008; Wonder-ful Cruisin!

Has anybody here visited Atlantis/poolscape?popcorn::

After seeing the commercials on tv for Atlantis;) (im easy lol); decided to check the Comfort Suites on Paradise Island again...rates have dropped substantially since i last checked it out:banana: :woohoo:

using Sams code was able to book a room for Thursday approx $187; plus some miscellaneous nusiance fees they tack on (auto gratuity, etc.); still under $200 for 3 to enjoy the Dig, pool, slides, lazy river, etc. Even better deal if you'd have 4 in party imo.

posted on other board, assume it includes the beach area too?

hey all..
im going to go back & start a list on 1st post as to who's onboard...
if i missed u, shout out:goodvibes

Is anyone else going to WDW first? DS and I will be at Pop 10/15-10/23. We are doing MNSSHP on the 21st. I have NO idea where we are eating now because I rebooked to accommodate the cruise and had to scrap our ADRs. Thankfully we don't eat anywhere that's really hard to get!

:cool1:

Looks like you and Looby will be at NSSHP on the same day :wizard:

Has any one else decided on bringing a FE? I think there are a few of us.
:woohoo:

That is a great rate. :woohoo: I am still on the fence about that. Our friends just booked a cabin and I havent mentioned getting a room for the day there yet. I think it would be fun.

We will be at Pop the night of 10/21 thru 23. We aren't planning on going to the parks or MNSSHP though. We'll spend the day before the cruise at Downtown Disney and just hanging out. Have no idea where we'll eat yet.

We will be staying at the Poly 10/19 - 10/23. We are also going to MNSSHP on 10/21.

Do you have an ADR for MNSSHP? We're doing LTT. I just finished booking our ADRs (only 3) and buying our MNSSHP tickets. I'm not so sure I even have any! The CM didn't put it through correctly the first time and I don't see a second charge yet!

Self, DH & jr will be @ the AKV beginning 10/18:)
we only have a few leftover MYW tix, not sure if we'll just do both MNSSHPs or go into the parks one day in lieu of one of them & will do Universal/HHN where we have APs...

i wouldn't wait too long to book an ADR even if u r just thinking about it...i had ones booked (earlier) before they released the dates; then moved them later...pickings were getting slim had to settle for earlier than i wanted.

just hoping they don't sell out the dates before Universal releases the official HHN dates/tix

believe they allow 4 in a suite...however, just posted this on main board off my confirmation as to "extra adults" over 16...rather pricey imo.:(

Must have one adult 21 years or older in each room. Children under 12 stay free if sharing room with parents. Children 16 or older charged as adults, an additional 40.00 plus taxes and service charges per night. Energy Surcharge: 8.00 per night (all persons 16 yrs and older) and housekeeping gratuity 4.00 per night (all persons 12 years and older) are additional charges that are not included in the estimated total and must be paid directed to the hotel. Five rooms or more is considered a group - please contact hotel. 100 percent smoke free hotel as of Sept. 1, 2007

No ADR for us during MNSSHP.

I was surprised but we got exactly what we wanted. LTT at 6 pm for dinner! I was really excited for that. I got out ticket situation straightened out today too.

Just popping in to say that I will be in DW from Oct. 19 and will be attending the MNSSHP on the 21st. Can't believe we're only 4 1/2 months away now!

One more thing - did we ever make a decision about fish extenders? Is there anyone interested in doing them?

Since a few of us are going to MNSSHP we should plan to meet somewhere!

im nearly 100% on MNSSHP on Tuesday 10/21 too, if somebody can come up with a meet let me know, even to ride something would be cool.:thumbsup2

changed our plans around:laughing: as usual,

just couldn't imagine Universal w/o FOTL/onsite...so i'm cancelling the 1st 2 nights @ AKV & staying @ the PBR:cheer2: ...3 days @ U & HHN too...so excited i could bust.

fyi, jik anybody is at all interested in doing the comfort suites/Atlantis as a day excursion, the rates have dropped substantially since i originally booked in may, down to $140+ (around $180 total) via Sams rate. IMO, a reasonable amt for excursion.

This is a good idea. I'm thinking we should meet to ride Pirates of the Caribbean!

Can we get a list started on who is going to do a fish extender? I'm starting to find things I want to put in them and need to know how many to get.

I will be doing one!
