DS's party was fun today. We got a Pirate Treasure Hunt for the kids to do. They had a blast. If you want, I can post some of the clues that they had to figure out (to get around the house to the treasure chests).

Suz made a pirate ship cake (3D - not 2D in a pan). DS wore his Jack Sparrow outfit and his cousins were all dressed up. For the adults, we gave them all the bandanas from Pirate night.

PS Y'all be sure to leave the boat in one piece for us! I'm jealous that you are cruising with Cass/Timon. I love reading her trip reports and website! That is on beautiful baby they have!

Aww shucks I will be doing another live trip report this trip so watch for it starting October 9th! We'll try to leave the ship in good condition for ya...although we may eat up all the chocolate croissants


Well, I booked Captain Marvins 2 hour Stingray City Excursion today! It's the only one that I have found that takes small children. The Stingray Excursion was Rob's favourite part of our 2003 cruise on Explorer of the Seas so he's really looking forward to going back! I booked the short tour so that allows us time to do some shopping afterwards at the Hard Rock It's kinda funny cus when I got up today, I put on my HRC Grand Cayman shirt LOL

I'll answer for Linda if that's OK.

Sky One is one of the channel's thats available only on Satelight and Cable. Lost was shown on one of our other channels that you didn't need to subscribe to, but Sky purchased the right to show Lost, so now it's not 'free'.

Jeff any pics of the party, it sounds a blast. Your DW is very clever to make a 3D cake ! Im impressed. Not sure what "theme" Elouise wnats for her party in June, it changes on a daily basis.

Cass that trip with the sting rays looks fun ! We are just watch Steve Irwins last tv programme before his tragic accident. He was amazing.

Hey there, we are considering this cruise but last time we cruised the end of Oct my DD who will be 15 was bored because there was no kids, I haven't had a chance to read this this entire thread but wondering if there was only teen girls on this cruise so my DD won't be so bored...lol

We are a very friendly and chatty bunch here, so Im sure you will enjoy this cruise if you decide to book.

There are quite a few teens and kids on the cruise. They even have their own thread to chat about the cruise etc and get to know each other before they all meet up. Im sure this will help your DD enjoy the cruise even more.

Tinkerbelle will be sure to direct you in the right place.

Hope you decide to stay, if so, we have some "games" set up, like dis tag.
Wont go into loads of info now... I dont really know what im doing myself with it... but it sounds fun !

Guess who is home today to play with her UK friends?

I think I mentioned last Friday that Fr. Flu slapped me upside the head? Well that jerk didn't just slap me, he put me at the top of the "Flu Tree", knocked me off and I hit every stinkin' "Flu Branch" on the way down.

So since I'm definitely not a sleeper, not even when I'm sick, I'll hang around today and enjoy indoor recess with you.

I was thinking of working on my packing list and I know I'll be working on my DIStag gifts.

Chris you cheeky devil. Sadly not, Sam ( the lady on the left) Mark ( who took the picture) and Kyle their son live next door but one, but they are saving really hard, they have only just got a motgage, and they are broke. They both work very hard ( both do 2 jobs ) so to help out wew often have Kyle at our house. Elouise loves this. as he is like a Big brother. Wayne doesnt, as he gets his butt kicked on the X box 360 and the WII.

If ( no WHEN) I win the lottery, yes they would cruise with us like a shot. they are a fantastic family and we have so many neighbourhood parties etc with them. They would fit in on this thread very easy!.

Does anyone know about the Palos Tiramissu (sp?) I love this pudding, but apparently its only at Palos? Is it on the menu EVERY night, cos we will book Palos one night just for that. If not we might give Palos a miss.

As LindyLoo (Linda) already stated, there are quite a few teens (especially females) cruising with us. Tinkerbelle(Rachael) is our energetic leader of that separate thread. I'll let her post a link for your daughter to read and join in on. Also, I see you are from Canada. That will surely please our one and only Canadian, Timon (Cass) as she is feeling a little left out. Cass also has a fantastic website separate from this one that is full of info. I'm sure she will post the link for that one.

Now just to show you what a bunch of DCL freaks we all are, we have yet another separate Yahoo site which is secured. If you plan on joining us, either myself or Oybolshoi (Brenda) will send you an invitation to join us.

My little micra is in for its MOT today and to sort out the gear box.
The garage has just called and its passed its MOT but he's still checking the gears - could be expensive cos its an automatic - keep your fingers crossed please and chuck some of that dust stuff at the mechanic for me
