ps...Does the USA have any DECENT bacon anywhere?...:rotfl2:

I quite like the way they make it "crispy" but even then its not well done enough for me. I like it so it shatters in your mouth its that hard:rotfl: Oh and lashings of brown sauce - yum!

Are you taking teabags onboard? My decaf babies will be one of the first things I pack:rotfl:

Your writing doesnt show your dyslexia at all. You write very well. I worked with a man who used to test for dyslexia in colleges etc and teach dyslexic people. Some of the students spelling was so bad it was unreadable and undiscipherable (sp). I used to have to type up 30 page long reports for him and do all the tet results. It depends upon the severity and your own coping mechanisms and coping strategies. Thats why I asked - I thought you were kidding. The only thing I have noticed is that you write "are" rather than "our", but I just thought it was just your cute way and I didn't tie it to dyslexia.

How much weight are you realistically hoping to lose then before the cruise?
There is a thread on the Dibb every Monday morning re weight loss - kind of a support group for overweight disney maniacs!:rotfl2: Everyone logs on (inc me!) and reports how they have done and weight lost (or gained!) You should take a look. 2 men on there have lost loads - 1 of them 100 lb and is unrecognisable.

I love my food too much to be thin. To think when I got married to DH I was 7 1/2stone  Now I'm aiming for 9 1/2 and thats gonna be very hard.

Hope you're enjoying your tiring day of betting and sport tv watching;) Dont over -do it will you:rotfl: Hope daughters hair goes well, I remember the good old days when I'd come home from the hairdressers after a perm! (yes! - a perm!) and cry for a week cos I hated it. By the time it had "dropped" so it wasnt so curly it was almost time to have it done again. Oh the good old days...........now I just get the grey bits coloured;)

Am 41 now, went to school at almost 5 and the time i was 5 i hated it with a passion, school was somewhere i went between bed and playing out so by the time someone came out with the "excuse" as to why i couldn't read or write at the age of 12 i think my school and family were quite happy with diagnosis of dyslexia,i NEVER write anything (besides signing cheques, even then i don't fill them in)and will do almost anything to avoid writing of any kind,am i thick?,no i don't think so,has it held me back? again no i don't so but finding Mr spell check has been a blessing.....:rotfl2:

As for the diet thing well same old story really, gave up the fags, only like plain English food (my idea of a chinese is chips and gravy)of which my wife is a great cook but the only problem their for some strange reason she always caters for 25 but yet were only a family of 5...:sad2:
Truth is what was once a lean fit fighting machine is now a not so lean unfit old banger.....:rotfl2: But am enjoying the gym 3/4 times a week and am starting to feel a lot fitter than i was....am about 19.5 stone but Ive been as high as 21...:scared1:

Can I just say that reading through a page of posts between our friends on the other side of the ocean sometimes makes me feel like I need Little Orphan Annie's Secret Decoder Ring? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And when you ask about decent bacon what do you mean? Are you talking about the way it's cooked or the cut of the meat? Just wondering...

And what the heck is a buttie? It that a biscuit? or is it a sandwich?

BTW, AFEG, I thought you were joking about the dyslexia, too. I agree with Karen, other than the "our / are" usage I never noticed anything. You do a terrific job with the written word. :thumbsup2

Morning everyone.

Correction to a post earlier this week. I finally trasferred my pictures to the computer and while doing so, I looked at the one I took of the Cove Cafe menu (it is kinda blurry).

Well, I do see that the Mochaccino IS listed on the menu. Sorry to put a scare out there.

Jeff

I've edited to add the picture. Sorry it is blurry.

Karen,

I want to say congrats!

I noticed in your signature you are now 15# in 8 months. It had been 18# in 9 months. That would have been 2# per month and you did 3#.

Good job.

Jeff

Hi my fellow cruisers...

Karen & Chris, I have a few questions for you from your last few posts...

What are fags?

What do you mean when you say your weight in stone? :confused3

What is a bacon buttie?

Sorry, but my very American brain is not understanding these terms!

Tina

Chris, you're in a cat 3 right? I think concierge guests can request a dining rotation, and it's guaranteed. I could be mistaken, but I think the concierge guests get first choice of a desired rotation. Might want to ask your TA. ;)

Here's a good one:

We went to Pancho's Backyard on Cozumel and then did some shopping in the store in the same building and came across this sign:

So who do you think won?

Here's a hint:

And the winner is:

:rotfl2: :lmao:

The workers asked when I was taking the pictures if I was going to show anyone. Of course I said yes. I then explained that the Magic doesn't have a room number that high. They said the dock officials give them the winning room number. Yeah, right.

What do you mean when you say your weight in stone? :confused3

I can answer this one (I just looked it up, I'm not that smart :rotfl2: ).

A stone is 14 pounds (sorry Karen and Chris if you didn't want that conversion out there).

I do have a question though, why do you use "stones" instead of Kilograms?
