Happy Birthday Chuck:flower3:

Well, I cant exercise today - I can barely walk:rolleyes:

Yep, I overdid it jut a bit:rotfl:

A nice long soak in a hot bath should hopefully ease those muscles. Still healthy eating though, no snacking or alcohol:scared1:

I'm off to Sparkpeople to see if I can find some tips for aching muscles - ouch!

Did any of you join?

I to do tae bo (billy blanks) bought a 4 set in Florida, and pilates -Mari Winsor - 4 set .

Just "treated" myself to a new dvd off amazon - one to use with the big exercise balls - (the ball that is currently under my dining table gathering dust).

I like a variety or I just get bored too quickly.

At this rate we are all gonna be skinnies on that ship:goodvibes

Happy Birthday to Chuck:bday:
He he ....looks like I am the youngest of of our little group of 4 Nancy!! I don't turn 50 until March!

Judy... good for you for getting back into the game....seems like Atkins really worked for you!

Karen, Good for you for the workout! Take it easy today, and that nice soak will help you I'm sure!
I hope you join sparkpeople, it's helped me already in just three days!

Robin, tae-bo is great, isn't it! I never get tired of doing the work out. I have the old tapes from about 8 years ago, and I like doing the advanced workout that includes floor workouts and lasts for 50 minutes. I also have the Boot Camp dvd that came with the stretch bands, now THAT is a workout! I can't do that one too often yet, I hurt too much after that one.
Keep the faith!

I tried drinking 8 glasses of water yesterday like they recommend on sparkpeople, I spent half the day in the bathroom:rolleyes1

I cant see Brenda needing to loose any weight???? Remember I only saw you in Oct!

Linda, that's the nicest thing anyone's said to me all year. :goodvibes

I joined Spark yesterday, I just haven't had a chance to poke around in it much. I need help with my eating habits...I love junk! :thumbsup2

Brenda, it was a nice but HONEST thing to say, I REALLY cant see where you need to loose weight. ?????

Karen have a soak in a hot bath and a big glass of wine ................ whoops sorry, forgot no wine!!! Im still finishing off the Baileys, so my booze ban hasnt started yet.... well to be honest nothing has started yet. I guess I will start properly in Sep ! :lmao:

Judy, thats an amazing amount of weight loss, well done. Elouise is in the little pumas, a Tae Kwon do/ kick boxing class. I do have gym memebership at the local hotel, but me and my friends seem to meet up to gossip and drink cappuccino's. I will try harder, in the spring......... promise!

Happy Birthday to Chuck. I'm 40 in July!!!
yikes the "round" number birthdays are quite scarey !:scared1:

Each month I am doing something new for the FIRST time, to celebrate my 40th year.

Jan Working over night in a charity shelter for the hostel, (Ive got 4 other friends to join in too !)

Feb Staying at Ragdale Hall, a health spa with friends for weekend.

Then over the other months, I am going to the Cheltenham Gold cup (horse racing) and placing a few bets. Ive never bet before!!!

3 girls friends and me are going racing around a car racing circuit, on a "thrill" experience.

Im going to London to see the Scissor Sisters at the new O2 arena.

OBVIOUSLY cruising with you guys in Oct !

So any other thoughts or ideas, please bring them on !!!!

Oh yer,to raise money for Whizz Kids charity, everyone at work will be sitting in a bath of baked beasns, outside our store for ONE whole week !!! Im sure I will share my photos each month with you guys ( except the bean bath!!!!)

xxxxx

Wow! Lindy - I'll be 40 in September but I hadnt thought of celebrating every month - nice idea:thumbsup2 - trouble is, knowing me all the celebrations would involve food and lots of it:rotfl:

I guess I am going to have to put Ellis into some kickboxing classes or your little ninjas, black belts and tae kwon do experts will beat him to a pulp:rotfl:

He already does 3 clubs a week and keeps asking to try it but the class is on a sat at 9am:eek: - still usually in my pj's at 10am.:rolleyes1

Just been lookin at excursions for Cozumel - there is a 2 mile zipline, 1 mile bike ride then swimmin excursion...sounds exciting! - I love ziplines. I'd love to be Tinkerbell when she flies from the castle at the start of wishes.

I could always dress up as Tink in Cozumel and wave my wand as I hurl along the zipline for 2 miles:lmao: - I know you'd all want to see that wouldnt you:rotfl2:

I started Atkins again on Sunday and have lost 10lbs since then. 2 years ago I lost 117lbs on Atkins but a car accident caused me to gain back 45 due to no more exercising. I have now been given approval to exercise and I have joined a Martial Arts program. My DD12 is a black belt and my DS5 is a "little ninja" in the program. I hurt the first 2-3 weeks but I now really love it and am seeing some improvement in my arms and my buns.
I hope to lose 70 lbs by October but I will be happy with 50. I don't want to have to buy a new evening dress for the cruise and I will have to unless I lose at least 30.

Great news Nancy

Judy:wizard:

MEMO TO MYSELF:

Make no comments/funny remarks to this lady as children may attack you....:rotfl2:

With all that exercise your smilies are doing you should be well within the weight limit:goodvibes

We cant do it either - just managed to get on the site and its age 10 and over:sad2: Same for the speedboat excursion:sad1:

I guess its sting rays or nothing:confused3 - I'll go for nothing:rolleyes1

Anyone know what Playa Mia beach is like?

Evening everyone! Or a very early morning to my fellow UK cruisers!

Page 2 - oh goodness! heres another bump to keep us near the top.

ps - still aching - we're meant to be going to look around another health club this afternoon to see if we want to join. They'll think I'm really unfit when they see me hobble in:rotfl: I blame it on all those squats:sad2:

Ok... just got back from the health club - we've joined....I have already lost 125 pound (£125) just by joining:lmao:

We have our inductions on Tuesday morning. Eek!!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:

One of the main reasons for me joining... they have a heated outdoor pool and sunloungers and outdoor bar during the summer months and for new year parties etc.....sunbathe, drink, dip to cool off....cant wait for summer:beach: :beach: :beach:

Sorry - me again! 3rd message:rolleyes1

Will there be anything "Halloweeny" on our cruise? I know we get off before halloween, but will the ship be decorated or anything?

If not - we want photos of it the week after from our double dipper;)

Probably not. We sailed a Western in 2004 the week before Halloween and there weren't any decorations.

Afternoon everyone. It's been raining cats and dogs here in London/Surrey, this afternoon. No sign of it getting any better on Sunday either.

Nancy - good news, Congrats.

You've given me the final push I needed to get out the dance mat again. Now that the decorations are down and put away up in the loft, I can start on the exercises again.

Haven't weighed myself yet, so not sure how many lbs I put on over Xmas. Need to get them off before I go back to Weight Watchers to have by two monthly Gold member check.

Have a good evening, everyone.

Heather

Karen - I think they save them for Halloween night itself. We did halloween several years ago and the boat was only decorated for the one day/night.

Really? What a shame. I thought being as they have the xmas decs up so long and seem to celebrate events with a year long celebration etc they may have put them up a bit earlier...oh well..We'll have to get our fix at the mnsshp.

Nancy Congratulations on the wonderful news   and Happy Birthday to Chuck :cake:

Karen we were on the cruise the same week this past Oct. and there were no Halloween decorations and nothing at all Halloweeney. I was wishing there would be too but no such luck.

:bday: to Chuck!!!

We had our Ukrainian Xmas Dinner tonight so finally the holidays are over for me YAY!!!! :yay: Now I can put my decorations away and get all cleaned up for next Saturday for Kira's Christening :woohoo:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHUCK!!!!!

:bday: party: :cake:

You were born a great day. Besides Katie Couric (1957 - also celebrating her 50th today), Nicholas Cage (1964), David Caruso (1956), Kenny Loggins (1948), and Dustin Diamond (1977 - Screech from "Saved by the Bell"), anyone else you share this B-Day with? :rolleyes1

Jeff

Karen,

We were on the 3-Night Wonder the weekend before Halloween in '05 and they didn't have anything then either. But we were hoping. Sorry.
