O.K. it's 1:30 a.m. and I can't sleep. Where are my UK friends?

It should be 6:30 if not 7:30 there by now. Don't you all get online first thing in the morning like Nancy does here (had to throw that one in for Nocturnal Nancy).

BTW, I think DW is coming around in regards to going in October. When I was reading through the most recent Navigators posted online, I asked if she was going to the shopping presentation. Thinking that she wouldn't because we went when we were on our Eastern the first time and didn't get too much info.

Well she comes out and says she probably will go. And then adds, "plus we'll probably be able to use the shopping book 2 times this year". That's the first indication she gave that we will be doing another Western later this year!

Now this all may change once we get back in a couple of weeks, but I think this is a good sign.

Can believe you pack so late - for our Ocotber cruise I will have packed early September - honestly! We go to Port Aventura, Spain in August for 2 weeks and when we come back from there I will put it all straight back in the cases for Ocotber

Glad to see someone is up across the pond.

It's 3:25 a.m. and I'm still up.

We can get packed in the matter of one or two nights. We've been through it before many times. The trick is that DS does NOT know we are going next week. He may get a clue when he sees the suitcases. He also had a ton of homework over his Christmas break. Not sure if we'll be able to keep it from him for the next 8 days.

BTW, what time is it there? Not sure if you're 5 or 6 hours ahead of us. We are GMT-6.

Morning Jeff it's now 10.23am here, i would have posted earlier but i thought you'd logged off sorry....Have a great holiday sir,just love the fact the little chap has no idea your going away we tried to keep it from are 3 the fact we'd booked a cat 3 and a back to back cruise but we only lasted 2 hours about the cat3 and about another half hour about the back to back bit....

thanks for the next numbers karen it worked really well and we all got some great bargains , but i am £250 worse off, i really need to pull my finger out and book some flights this week , i am so tempted to leave it late and try for a good flight deal but cath is going mad at me to get em booked. so i think we will be flying with tcd as they seem to be the best price around at £ 1607 two weeks fly drive.

Just been to the TA and "officially" booked our smmer holiday...2 weeks at Port Aventura, Spain, so 2 weeks of theme park rides and water parks before WDW

The thought of getting into a swimsuit in 8 months - I'm off to dig out my aerobics dvd's to bounce round my lounge like a looney - dont worry - I'll shut the curtains so the neighbours dont get scared

Hello everyone and a happy new year to you all.

Nancy, I will be thinking of you all day tomorrow ( I will factor in the time difference ) I am sure posititve thinking helps, and there will be LOADS of postitve waves coming from "across the pond" !!

NEXT the next big sale ( excuse the pun) is Sat 7th July. There will be a mid season around end of march, but July will be great for the cruise !

Elousie started kick boxing classes today, and now thinks she is a power ranger !!!! She seemed to really love it, we had to come home and do sit ups !!!!! ( I wish i only had 18lbs to lose!) she ate pasta pawns and brocolli for tea, cos Steve her teacher told her it was heathly.

Our new year tradition is to open the back door, to let out the "old" year and open the front door, to welcome the " new" year in. !!! Weird I know but we always do it. We then hd fireworks and sparklers in the garden.

I booked our Dolphin Swim today through Dolphin Discovery for the 8 of us.
We are just going to hop into a cab and do things on our own, I personally like booking things NOT through DCL, I like the independence aspect and the cheaper prices for the exact same thing!

I don't know how I'm going to wait until October...

I am starting a new job on Monday and won't have any vacation time until July. Of course I'll be using that time for our October cruise. I'm used to getting a Disney fix more than once a year. (Next year, I guess)

My dh has plenty of vacation time (6 wks)...He just may leave without me.


Well, time to hit Dis WISH and then on to pilates. 30 lbs. to lose for the cruise.

I'm with you Robin. I'm doing some power-saving for this cruise and as a result haven't a lot of extra $'s between now and then to plan any big adventures.

I've been getting the Disneyland itch lately but it will have to wait until Feb '08.

If we go to Hard Rock in Cozumel can we use American cash?? I won't use my credit card in foreign countries. This seems like such a stupid question but with all the cruise ships that dock in Cozumel maybe they accept american money?????

I was in Cancun about 12 years ago and I remember having to exchange my american $ to pesos. However, at a place like Hard Rock, I'm sure that you will be able to ask for the check in $'s. Just watch the exchange rate, sometimes not so good at individual establishments.

I suppose the same goes when shopping in Cozumel or at the straw markets?? I never really thought much about it until yesterday. Maybe I'll just ease my mind and stay on the ship and enjoy the spa that day.
