This is early, but I'm leaving town today for the weekend, and wanted to wish everyone a good weekend :sunny:

I do have a favor to ask of you all...please keep Nancy and Chuck and their family in your prayers... I don't have Nancy's permission to divulge details, so I'll just say please pray for good news. :grouphug: Thanks...Jo

I was just getting ready to put a shout out on the board to Nancy because she hasn't posted lately.

Hope all is well.

Nancy, we're thinking of you! :grouphug:

Jeff

We are all thinking of you Nancy & Chuck!! :grouphug: We are praying for good news for you!!! :flower:

Nancy, you already know that Jason and I are keeping you guys in our thoughts this week, but it never hurts to give one of these, too:

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Go read my food report if you need a laugh - if I say so myself it's quite entertaining. :teeth:

Hi everyone! I know it's been a while since I've posted! Just been busy. It seems like everytime I turn around, Katie's school is having another event or celebration. Having a child in school is alot of work!

Nancy - here's a big hug for you! :grouphug: You're in my thoughts & prayers. And you can call me Lisa or Pooh anytime!

Brenda - I loved that Plankton photo! Please say you'll be bringing him next year.

We recently went to Disney on Ice in Baltimore. It was called Princess Wishes, and Katie was just in awe! It really was a cute performance.

Welcome to all the new cruisers! Jennifer, I think you're one of the very few here with a tag (or three!) from the infamous Tag Fairy! Cool!

Been catalog and online shopping like crazy. Just trying to get all our Christmas shopping done. I dislike paying for shipping, but not having to drive around and fight mall crowds is so worth it!

I'll try to stay more in touch here then I've been lately. You all are such a great group of people to chat with!

Tina :sunny:

Hello Everyone

Its "Children in Need" day here in UK today. :goodvibes

We arranged a penny trail around Ellis' school today and got 250metres of coins! - total was about £250 so not bad for a mornings work

There was about 6 mums to pick it back up and then start counting it, so it only took us 4 hours  - thank god for money weighing scales :thumbsup2

They also had bring a bear and wear your own clothes day which bought in some more. :cheer2:

Its amazing what those pennies can do when you add a few thousand together :thumbsup2

Gos, are you cruising with us on the 20th Oct??? sorry if I have missed your threads previously, we are quite a chatty lot, so there is lots to read! :teeth:

Yes that bit with jason D was sooooo funny ! :rotfl2: helps me cope with this horrid dark cold weather.

OK everyone, another question Waynes not keen to wear a full on suit for formal night. Is a smart long sleeved shirt and tie OK ? Tux simply take up too mush room in the case, and he wont wear hired clothes.

Thanks.............. Linda

Hi Linda - yes, Rick and I along with our friends will be joining you all. I've just been a bit quiet, but keeping up to date with all the chatting.

Shirt and tie should be fine, I love dressing up for formal night. It makes it extra special.

Heather

Thank you for Perdidobay for letting us know we need to be thinking of Nancy and Chuck. Im a strong believer in positive thoughts, and although I not sure what is wrong, I think if we all think of you both and send our love to you, it will surely help, in some small way. Its a very reasuring feeling to know others have you in their thoughts. Nancy, you have been so thoughtful to me, and we havent even met yet, I truely hope you get the news you desire. :grouphug:

Karen, ref Palos, I believe as repeat cruisers ( I like that phrase! :sunny: ) we can book before other cruisers. PM me the info nearer the time and I will book the date and time. I guess we can either "cancel" and you book it, ( on the boat, so we know you get it !) or you can just be us! :teeth: as long as you behave :rotfl2:

Jeff thanks for the advice on the clothes. We like to dress up at home, but on holiday, we all quite enjoy to be casual.

Hi Heather and Rick  Hi Lisa :wave2:

Timon, no baby news yet ??????? Cant wait to see the first pictures of your little princess............. princess:

Battlestar Galactica is over for the next two weeks...there's nothing left for me to do but...bump!

I can't believe our 180 day mark is almost here for our May WDW trip. Soon, I'll be making our dining reservations. I'm still full from our October trip! For Katie's 5th b'day we'll be eating at the Princess B'fast in the Norway pavilion at Epcot. We're also going to try the Princess lunch at the castle in the MK. Plus my favorite, the Crystal Palace B'fast (I love Poohbear!) will be scheduled in there somewhere too! John & I planned out a tentative day by day schedule. Kinda weird to know where I'll be daily for a week in six months!

OK, now that I've bored everyone! Have a good weekend! :)

Pooh bush, have you thought about doing Bibbidi Boppiti boutique for the girls ? Elouise LOVEd this !!! It was great fun! we did the cheapest package under $40 and she was treated like a princess! princess:

In face we had so much fun we did it after the cruise as well. Its a Down town Disney. I have the tel num if you need it. DO book !!!! We saw girls being turned away on both days we were there. Some were crying, I so felt for them and their parents. You get to keep the sash, hair acccessories, comb and make up, in all a cute plastic bag.
Photopass photograpghers takes about 50 pictures! As they are being made over and after in a studio setting!

Heres Elouise, as a Disney diva, complete with hair extensions. !!

and as a princess with a bun and a lovely disney shape dimonte hair clip !
It was $ 10 more for their nails to be painted, however I did that the previous day. You get a glitter/crystal stone design to go on your cheeks too. Other than the cruise this is the main thing Elouise wants to re do when we come back in Oct.

we saw that boutique in sept. oh how we wished our daughter was little again. robin took a picture of some girl who had just finished up. her mom thought we were crazy to take a perfect strangers picture but we wanted to show dd when we got home.
oh well our grandaughter is almost 3 months, so in a few years maybe we can take her

Hi everyone,

We are going on this cruise,I posted a few months ago but stopped because we were trying to keep it from our daughter and I was afraid she would see an email. We are taking my dd and her df (darling friend) with us on the cruise. We promised her that if she received straight A's last year she could take a friend on vacation with us. We figured that with the cost of feeding teens a cruise would be the cheapest way to do it. So our group will be DH, DD & DF both 13, DS 6, Grandma, grandpa & Me. We have reserved 2 catagory 4 rooms we are in 8552 & 8554. We will be staying in our DVC resort, BCV or VWL, before the cruise and taking a limo down that morning.
We live in Franklin WI and ifanyone has kids our kidsages they would love to "talk" via the internet before the trip so they can all hang out on the trip

Have a nice weekend
Judy:grouphug:

Welcome aboard, Judy & family!

I'm picking up on trend here...Wisconsin and England...I feel so out of place now. :teeth:

Wow Elouise - you look BEAUTIFUL! Just like a princess:

I wish there was something similar for boys :sad2:

Welcome Judy :wave2:

Welcome Judy! My DD will be 5 and DS will be 8 on the cruise.

Elouise looks beautiful! That would be such a great thing for a little princess to do. I know my daughter would love something like that! I notice her ears are pierced. How does she do with them? Not that I could possibly talk Gwynne into getting hers done. She says she's NEVER doing it! But I got mine double-pierced a year ago and had alot of problems with them which she witnessed often. I know I will NEVER do it again. ;)

Hi Judy! Glad to have you back. At Cruise time my son will be 6 years old so they should be in the same group in the kids programs.

Wow, Linda, loved the pics. I understood that adults could use the boutique as well as children. Not sure if it's true, would be great if it was...
