I would try to bring a travel size hair dryer maybe? I am sure it would be more powerful than the one in your cabin! And it won't take up much room.

It does remind me too of a central vac system but it doesn't work very well.

I don't recall if there were blow dryers in the spa???

If you had a verandah cabin, you could easily just stand out on the verandah and get more blowing power than the DCL blow dryer

Just finished watching the video from Hallowishes that they posted here on the DIS...pretty cool. We'll be there in four weeks!!!

Jason's mom finished his Mickey costume (it looks so cute!) and now she's working on my Minnie. I can't wait - I feel like such a dork!

Good morning everyone

thanks for the answers to my questions. I'll definately pack my hairdryer then, a plug power strip thingy.

Someone else suggested post it notes to leave messages on your mirror for your cabin steward or each other (I thought that was a good idea!), highlighter pens (to mark the navigator - what you want to do), refillable mug thingy, clothes pegs (for pegging up your wet swimwear (and for you rich people with windows - for pegging your curtains shut!).

By the time this lot is in my case I should just have room for my underwear!

Welcome Goofy Freak - I'm quite a newbie here too! - sounds like you have a large party going - should be fun.

Brenda, you are absolutely correct about grumpyguy's TR. You two do write similar and that's exactly why I'm lovin' it. Has someone already made you promise to post a picture of you and Jason in your MNSSHP costumes? If not, consider this your request (of course along with a new TR).

I am already organizing my trip reports..there will be three this time: the daily TR; a restaurant review; and a F&W review. And pictures galore!! We have a new memory card that I'm planning on breaking in.

I took a picture of Jay in his costume last night but it's not ready to post. Besides, I want you guys to see the real deal come next month.

Can I just say that the work world is an insane place?

follow the links in my signatures - the first one is our Eastern Disney cruise from last October and the other two are from a visit to Universal Studios in May of this year.

I'll warn you in advance...my trip reports are long and since I just recently figured out how to import pictures there are no visual distractions. I do have a link somewhere in the cruise report that will take you to a slideshow of pictures from October if you want to see them.

Jo and Brenda...remember what we were doing last year at this time? I remember what I was doing. You all had your cruise docs by now and I was still waiting for mine! Can you believe that it is two weeks short of a year since our October cruise?

OK, since I was nominated to explain "TAG" (thnx B )I'll do my best. Here goes....

Two of our DISer's from our Oct 15th cruise thought it would be fun to play DIStag. All interested DISer's (not all of them wanted to play) were asked to bring a small token from their home city/state or a fun little gift. One of the guys set up a spreadsheet (ss) for the taggers. On the spreadsheet he listed our names and cabin numbers (and other groovy info about us). We were all given a really cool magnet and a ss. Now let's say Nancy was first on the list, followed by Jo and then Brenda. Nancy would take her magnet and her gift to Jo's cabin. Nancy would leave the magnet on the door and the gift was attached to the "fishmail" hook at the top of Jo's door. Jo would tag Brenda and do the same. Brenda would tag whoever was listed underneath her name on the ss. Once you are tagged by someone, you tag the next person on your list. Sometimes by the time you got back to your cabin, you could have been tagged a few times. I believe there were about 15 of us playing. Some DISers got really creative with their gifts. We had all week to play so by the end of the week ideally you should have received 15 different gifts. I myself had a blast playing tag. I believe I even cheated death tagging someone. One of the DIsers caught me tagging her door, sneaked up on me a yelled "Hey get away from that door" really loud. I screamed myself and almost started crying because she scared the heck out of me! Thought I was going to have a heart attack!! (J & B...it was Marnie/Crazyformickey).

I think that explains the game. Jo and Brenda...help me out if I forgot something.

I remember how you were sooo worried (maybe more like peeved) about your docs being so late in arriving.

Tag was so fun and it was really neat delivering tag gifts just to wander up and down the stateroom halls, and see all the decorated doors we wouldn't have seen otherwise.
I still play Kevin's cd all the time. It makes me miss that cruise

Where have you guys been the last two weeks? I've been sitting here posting away and no one responds. Wait, I think I've got that reversed.

Anyhow, about this tag thingy, do you just go to someone you haven't tagged after you've been tagged or are there 15 different lists that go around with the game? The latter seems very hard to put together. 15 different lists with a different order and no duplication of who you go to next, my head is spinning and I get into creating things like that. (now reality is, is that this is now a challenge for me to come up with such a spreadsheet ) I would think as long as you go to someone you have not gone to yet, you'd hit everyone. This way it would be totally random.

What you could to then is not put your names on your gift but instead do another DIS meet on the last day and have everyone guess who gave what. Think of it as a one last get together with your DIS buddies (or better yet for this group )
