Here's our tree...

Our Fav decorations. When you pull the string his arms and legs move. There is also Mickey and Minnie.
My Mom gave them to Cassie a few years ago.

I love the story "A Christmas Carol"

Cassie's village. Since we downsized... we don't have a lot of room for it. We used to put it next to our fireplace in our previous home. It looked to nice there.

Here are our Seaside Santas. Mike's mom started bring them to us when they started going down to Fla. for the winters. She'd give us one every xmas.

The joke in the family was that she always bought them in the 90% of store at the Clearwater Mall. (which they have torn down a few years ago)

Mike always said the one on the left looks like Santa is gutting the Manatee. :rotfl2:

Regarding the one on the left...
Don't ask me what Santa is doing the the Tortoise? :lmao: We try not to talk about it. It does tend to be a conversation piece though. :rotfl2:

Great, great pics Robin! :thumbsup2 Loved the tree.

We are having a nice big snowstorm right now. So far we have about 4 inches on the ground and the storm turned into a snow/ice mix for now. From what I heard, this should continue until 6:00 am tomorrow. It's supposed to turn back into snow later tonight.

Many accidents too. Kristin coaches 5th grade basketball and two of the girls were in an accident on the way to the game. The game went on anyway despite the storm (stupid decision). They ended up playing with only 5 girls against 17 (home team). They won 16-10!!

Robin, this storm is heading east. Take Care!!

Yeah, the storm is here. We went out shopping, came out of the store and the snow was coming down. So we headed for home.

We're suppose to get freezing rain in the morning. Yippee

Just some more winter fun in Wisconsin

I know you Northener's probably get sick of the snow, but I wish sometimes that it snowed here. Now mind you it is 68 in the house and I am freezing (go ahead and laugh),and seriously hate cold weather, but love the look of snow. It snowed once here in N. CA way back in 89, just enough to stick to the ground, and it only lasted a day.

Robin,
Love the pics of little Addison. Around here she would fit right in since all the boys seem to think that their waists are below their bums. But(no pun intended) I'd much rather see her little diapers, instead of their boxers:scared:

I love the snow. I just don't like the bitter cold we get. When it gets down to 0 degrees and the wind is blowing... it goes right through you. That chill factor is a killer.

Before we moved... (3 years ago) we had a pond out back and we used to iceskate and there were woods on 3 sides of us. One day we got over a foot of snow. It was falling in huge flakes...it was so peaceful. I used to go out to the pond and just sit on this tree stump and listen. I remember Mike yelling from the house, "What are you doing?" I think he thought I was crazy.

It's really gorgeous at night when the moon is full and the skies are clear.
I love it! :goodvibes :goodvibes

I see that a lot when I drive downtown. I don't drive through there too much. I can't stand it either. In these small towns around here, you see it once in a while.

When I see them walking down the street, I wanna jump out of the car and just give those pants a yank down to their ankles. :rotfl2: (they might as well wear them down there anyway)

My son never wore his that way. He was "Mr. Color Coordinate" and not a hair out of place. :lmao:

Well isn't convenient that my scale is missing :rotfl2: , seriously it is, Devin has to look for it since he used it last. Either way when I do it will be my starting point so, next week I will be posting my first loss (an I will lose, I promise)

Good for you. Way to stay positive. :thumbsup2 I think this will be fun working together.

Do you have an elliptical or treadmill, or did you join the gym with Sean?

We are sending out a reminder to parents this week about what the dress code is and asking them to take it into consideration when buying their kids presents. We really try to enforce it at the school, but sometimes I feel more like the fashion police than an office manager. I have even fought with parents on the phone over it by telling them that they signed the form stating they read the handbook. My favorite is when they tell me it is part of their culture, and I think that if prison (where it started the trend) is their culture than by all means don't let me stop you from keeping my husband in a job. Ugh frustrating, but I always win.

My son has had some serious wedgies from me for wearing his pants too low. He doesn't do it anymore :cool2:

Wedgies...:rotfl2: I love it!

You work at the middle school. What do you do?

I am the office manager, or head secretary. We are actually a k-8 campus but because we are so large, 1500 kids, the school had to add another site onto it, or the annex, and that is where I am. I love my job, and love the kids, but of course the majority of the kids that come into the office are disciplinary so I wish I could see more of the positive side like the teachers do. My staff is totally awesome, and my best friend Lori (who I am trying to do KK2 with us) is my clerk.
