October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 9

my fear is now that we got upgraded this time, the tart girl will want to book a porthole cabin.:scared:
she liked the porthole.
i keep telling her, but we are never in the cabin.:rolleyes1
i think its all part of disneys master plan. give them a "free" upgrade now and get them hooked on how the better half lives. then they will want that the next time.

HI EVERYBODY

Been working all morning - its now 3pm and the house is two thirds done. Only one more tree to go (maybe 2 - cant decide yet if I putting up the other one).

I'm downloading my photos now so I'll post them soon.

Wheres everyone elses photos of their trees:confused3 - I've only seen one tree so far:confused3

I love seeing everyones trees so getting posting people!

I still have my door magnets too - they are on my freezer - makes me smile whenever I look at them.:goodvibes

Paige - I enjoyed the cat 11's on deck 5 - there are hardly any cabins on deck 5 so there is no noise etc. Also, it was only one floor down to deck 4 with those comfy squashy loungers - Neil and I often used to sit there in the evening after dinner for a short while. Wish I was there now! It was a great spot for us - we chose the last cabin in the row so no-one would be walking past our room all the time, and deck 5 was idseal for getting anywhere - we walked most of the time.

Carrie and Becky,

It's not cheesecake, but I am making this dessert for our friends today:

I've made it once before and it's easy and SOOO yummy!

Thanks but I opened up the link with Scott standing here and he goes "oh yuck, 2 things I don't like pears and cherries." So I guess I am not making that one.

I am making pumpkin chocolate chip cookies today. I will let you all know how they turn out.

Did anyone stay in a cat 11? How did you like it? Thanks.:thumbsup2

Paige, we are also booking a Cat 11 for KK2. The kids both had cat 11's and they were just fine. Kristin had the sideways cat 11 and we will book that one. If we get a free upgrade, that's fine. If not, that's ok too.

We had a verandah for the last two cruises and for a difference of over $1000.00, we are going the cheaper route next time.

It is still raining. It has been raining steady since noon yesterday. I love it. But today we have alot of wind with it. That I don't like

If we do KK2 we would be looking at a cat 11 also. We have done inside rooms before and have found no problem with them. I much rather save the money the next time. We did the verhanda and found it was pretty much a waist of money for us.

I love the village. I really want to start a village but we really don't have a place to put one so I just admire everybody elses. If you all have villages please post them and if you would do a close up of your fave. part of it.

Jen that looks good, and you put in the crock, love it.

Thanks, guys. I know I will miss the verandah, but I think cat 11 is the way to go for Rob and me. Without the kids it'll be easier to get up on deck to enjoy the view and feel like I am back on the verandah.:thumbsup2
Like Karen said just go to deck 4 and sit on the comfy loungers.:cloud9:

The pumpkin chocolate chip cookies are very good. Deffinatly need milk with them. I am on my second batch right now. Along with one burned knuckle. Darn oven is hot.

I have a cookie exchange on Monday that I need 2 dozen for
A bake sale at school on Friday that I need at least a dozen of something for. So thought I would do a dozen of the cookies and then something else.
Then on the 17th we have to provide snack for our group. I was going to d a cookie and then taco pinwheels.
Some time this week or next Scott has need bring in snack at work. He did this last week and I sent in my taco dip and chips.

I think that covers all the things I need to bake for. Besides the normal baking I do for us and Scotts boss.

Hoping to have my trees up this weekend. We were going to go see Steve's house tonight, but can't make it. Hoping for next weekend.

We found the padded loungers by the adult pool. Those were really nice. One night after leaving Rockin Bar D when we were not ready to go to bed yet we just went there and found a double one and curled up on it, sheltered from all the wind, and watch the stars through the glass. It was so peaceful. The only people around were a few cleaning crew and when they saw us they went the other way.

That is right tonight is opening night for him. When you go please take lots of pictures and post them for all of us.

GOOD LUCK STEVE

I am waiting on the kids to finish the tree. They get to put their ortaments up. Kelsey was here Thursday to put hers up but decided to be difficult and have something to complain about so she let Mackenzie do hers and then never did her own so I am hoping this weekend. Kyle sounds excited to do his.

Hi everyone

We're watching Addison while our ds an diL go xmas shopping.

We were laughing because, before she arrived, we went through the house putting things away that she can't play with.

It reminds us of Mary Poppins when the Admiral shoots off the cannon.

Everyone man your stations!!! Addison's coming!

When ever she is going to touch something she's not suppose to, she looks at you and says, "Hi" and then goes for it and runs.

She is soooo busy. She is a good baby though. :cutie: princess:

She's napping now. (obviously...or I wouldn't be on here.)
