Anyone get on their scale:eek:

I knew I shouldn't have done that:headache:
Knew those clothes were tighter. 3 and 1/2 pounds more:sad2:

I'll have to find some fat pants to wear to work tomorrow!:guilty:

Scott gained 12 to 15 pounds. :scared1: I have not weighed myself yet but I doubt I gained anything.

Anyone else still feel the ship moving?

I did a bit yesterday, but today, since this morning it is non stop!
Help, my house is riding the waves:eek:

I remember this from last cruise, I think it lasted for a few days before I got my land legs back

Yes, we are feeling it today. Kinda fun, actually. Rob gets on a plane tomorrow for Arizona. No telling how long he'll feel the rocking.

We are not exactly sure what happened. We left Craig (a single guy who just recently got a girlfriend) in charge of the dog. He has dog sat for us before a few times. He is great with her and has two dogs of his own and can really man handle our big dog.

We had another neighbor Andrea checking our mail and keeping it at her house until we got home.

The Friday before we got on the ship at 12:30 pm Florida time Andrea called Scotts cell phone. (I left mine home). She explain that from what she could tell the dog had been out side since 5:00 am that morning and she had been barking the whole time. She is not an outside dog and will bark if left outside, plus the sprinklers were coming on three times a day. We were asleep when she called. By the time we woke up and called her back she said that she went over and went through our back door. It is a sliding door that does not lock very well so we left it unlocked. She let the dog in her kennel but by that time she was covered with top soil from us reseeding and she ate our screen door. We gave her Craigs phone number and Scotts dads and said to contact Craig find out what he was going to do, because he told us that he was going to take her and his dogs to his girlfriends for the week. Then we told her if there was a problem to call Scotts dad. That was the end of it as we knew.

Spoke with Andrea last night and found out that Sat and Sun her kids were really sick and she has an illness of her own and her husband just had surgery so she told a neighbor 2 down from us to check on her, since that neighbor was the one who reported us to animal control. On Monday Andrea went over at night and found our back door wide open. She is not sure who left it like that or for how long. Andrea continued to go over at night just to make sure the dog was still alive and ok. She never gave her more food because the dog never ate what was in her bowl from Thursday when we left. On Tuesday we had our house treated for termites and Craig was supposed to have the dog gone because they would be drilling. Well Craig never showed up. The dog was left in her kennel in the house the whole time. The termite guys somehow got in our house but Andrea did not let them in and Craig was the only person with the key. So we are not sure how they got in. On Thursday afternoon Andreas husband came home to find our front door wide open. He went through the house to make sure that we were not robed. No one knows who left that open. On Thursday night Craig went to another set of neighbors, Nona, Sara and Mathew and told them that he had to leave town to go to Tucson for an emergency (we still have not figure that out because he knows no one in Tucson as far as we know). He have our keys to them and Sara and Mathew came over ever few hours to let her out side. They are not really strong enough to handle her and Craig did not tell them to only let her out front due to the over seeding we did, so she brought in al the mud and top soil all over the living room floor. Her Kennel was in the computer room. Come Friday the dog got very sick. Sara was spot treating our carpet all the way around the kennel. Andrea came over and gave the dog some meds. (we are not sure what she gave her at this point). So last night the dog had an accident in the house and it was primarily blood. So now we are watching that to see what it going on.

The whole thing is a big mess. So yes we actually had 4 different houses taking care of her but no one every gave her new food. She is eating as we speak but she will need to eat for a long time to gain back the weight she lost. She has an appointment tomorrow to go get groomed.

Wow........

Well, put in that wonderful cruise music as you clean up after the dog.....

Did she really "eat" your screen? That may be the cause of the blood.....

Keep us updated as to how she is doing.

Rose

We got our book. Have not opened it yet but it is here.

Oh, that's the one I really want, I'll have to order it too. It sounds like a great fun book for anyone wanting to reconnect and have fun with their partner or spouse. I've gotten 2 other books by that author.... those ones are just about doing fun/crazy things in your life to liven you up! they are great and funny books and I haven't hardly completed many more than 10 of them yet!

Let me know how this one is!

That is a great idea I will have to do that. From what we can tell she did not digest any of the screen it was more the metal from that she chewed on but did not digest that either just warped it and left lots of holes in it.

Hey let Rob know that if he has some time off work and wants a home cooked meal that he is more then welcome at our house. Or we can meet him for dinner somewhere one night.

I've loved all your dis tags!

That was so much fun!

I can't wait to go through them again. We looked at everything in such a hurry to go and tag someone else's room and rush off to dinner or an excursion or something.....
so now that I'm home I'm going through everything.

Bob took all the bags home with him, so I can't look now, but he said that he pulled out all the CD's people made and listened to the music while unpacking.
He loved that!

Thanks everyone:grouphug:

I am going to go through mine on Tuesday when my kids go to school I think. The CD I made is just a mixture of Louisiana music, some cajun, some zydeco, some New Orleans jazzband......I didn't write down the names of the songs, sorry. But my favorite is the last one on the CD. (I think I've already told Linda and Sean and their spouses.) The lyrics are: "I don't like golf. I don't like swimmin'. I just like chasing...big butt women!" :lmao:

So is anyone else in cruise mode still. We went to this little tea bar and cafe for lunch. We walked out without my purse. Someone was yelling at me to tell me I left it behind and then the owner reminded us that we had not paid our bill either. :confused3 Boy are we out of it. We all came home at about 1:30 and slept until 4:30. So now it is back to unpacking and more laundry.

Lori - I love how you got your laundry down. Maybe we will have to stay a night after next time just to do our laundry.

Carrie,
So sorry that you having to go through all this. :wizard: that everything gets back to normal ASAP.

I've spent too much time today working on my digital photos....
fixing red eye, lighting, putting in Adobe Album, captioning and uploading to Snapfish to share with everyone.

I'm only up to Tuesday evening on the ship!

This will take me a while.

Next need to mail in my 2 underwater cameras to snapfish.

Those will take awhile before I see them online.

I now need to go through my luggage.

I noticed when we got on the ship my "crocs" were not in any of my bags.

(at least I couldn't find them.) I'm hoping I Just overlooked them, because they aren't here at home either. :confused3

I'll find out when I get everything unpacked. :scared:

It's so strange... this has been a part of our lives for over a year. I hope we can keep this going for a while.

Looking forward to posting pics in the coming days. :thumbsup2

Robin (It's all over now..I guess I'm no longer Tart Girl) :sad1:

Glad everyone is getting home safely. We made it all the way home in time to go to a friends house for football Sunday. Everyone loved my Disney Crocs... did you buy any Robin?

By the way, you can still be Tart Girl if you want to... We need to do another cruise.. that will keep this thread booming....

Not yet I haven't. But now I am ready to hit the diet. Want to start up the weight thing now? We are sure to all be thin as a rail by 2009.

I miss our tablemates.

Janice, Mark, Bryce and Mackenzie................
It was a pleasure to have dinner with you every night:thumbsup2

Hope Sean kept you all entertained:rotfl:

Bob had a great time with you also. We really enjoyed your company.

Miss you guys:hug:
Take care!

We'll be sharing our photos on snapfish soon

I soooo agree. That was such a great part of the cruise. I also loved running into people that I knew. It was very nice. I wish I had found time to talk and get to know a few of you that I really did not see except for the first day... and I never saw the star baby, Kira at all!

Yup, I'm ready:thumbsup2

I'm ready too...I haven't weighed myself, but all my pants are tight.

I will actually be starting the dreaded D-word (diet:scared1: ) on Tuesday...I need to plan a menu and grocery shop - I have NO food in the house. I went to the store tonight and got bread, milk, and spaghetti sauce for tomorrow's dinner, but that's as far ahead as I could think! :rotfl:

We were playing ours in the room. Every morning to get the teenagers up I would put the one in that has the horn sounding and blair it as loud as it would go to wake them up... hahahahaha

Before we left the ship, our concierge took us into the Walt Disney and Roy Disney suites. They were soooo big. We didn't have the camera charged or I would have sent pics.

Well I am off to stumble like a drunken sailor up the stairs. I will be back on tomorrow to see some pictures...
