Nancy, I just did this perhaps a few months ago.

Just today I was thinking to myself:

For what we've spent on this cruise..... including airfare, towncar, clothing, drinks and excursions.... everything....

It could pay for about 1/2 the price of a new car!

But, I want this cruise instead:)

Rose, I thought the same thing. I needed a new car in 05 when we did our first cruise. Add the price of that vacation onto this one, and yes, I could've had a new car myself.

I really know how to set my priorities huh?:rotfl2:

go ahead and buy one. i hear you and chuck are loaded.:lmao:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: You heard wrong Cinnamike!:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Nancy,

Buy Toyota, one of my cars is pushing 202,000 and still going.

We actually turned over 200,000 pulling in our driveway also.

Shouldn't we as good Americans buy American?:confused3

ok, this is just getting too weird now.:confused3
i saw cinnamon getting her luggage out of the storage area in her garage.
im thinking, she must be taking a trip also.:confused3
then i see the ups guy pull up and deliver a small package.
moments later she is outside doing what looks to be a dock dance.:confused3 now ive seen her dance before(usually with a pole) and this wasnt like that.
no, it was for sure a dock dance.:cheer2:
so now im thinking what are the odds that she would be taking a cruise the same time as robin and i?:confused3
now i know im a bear of very little brain but something seems to be amiss.
im going to have to think about this one.:confused3

time to go start dinner. if i dont have it ready when tart girl gets home im in BIG trouble.:scared: :scared: :lmao: :lmao:
chicken breast and potatoes. separate plates please.:thumbsup2

WOW - has the Caribbean cleared out where we're going. Didn't expect it to get that clear.
There is an area of circulation in the south central Caribbean I thought might have turned into something, but it look like it is just moving a long and not doing anything - which is good because I think it could have affected us.

The highest wave reading I see is 1.2M, so about 4 feet. That is basically calm (I'm use to the 4-8 ft and 8-12 ft seas).

Water temps are 30.9C (88F) in Key West, around 29C (84F) in Grand Cayman, and the same in Cozumel. They don't have readings close in by Castaway, but should be similar this time of year.

Air temperatures are around 85+ in Key West, 88 in Grand Cayman, 86 in Cozumel and 84-88 in the Bahamas (Castaway Cay)

If this holds, we are looking at an AWESOME week. :cool1:

Fantastic. Here's to weather staying clear in the Caribbean!

I've seen some messages where you guys are talking about packing costumes. Are they for the pirate event, or is there a Halloween event as well? I wasn't going to bring any piratewear, but if they are doing something special for Halloween, I will pack my sons costume.

Thanks.

Nothing special for Halloween until the cruise after ours. Pirate night is all the costuming that we'll need on this cruise.

Honda and Toyota have plants here and American workers work for them.

Think about your TV and cameras and other electronics.... most of those are Japanese companies as well, no way around it.

Or Honda! That's what I have....
They last a long time also.

I just wanted a new one so I could give my old one to Sean.
But it's not in the budget for years now.
Could have skipped the cruise.....:rotfl: HA HA HA.....NOT!

That's what one of my other cars is. Love it. This one has a V6 and should go easily 240k.

Then we have an Olds Bravada - had several problems with that one. As well as a couple other GM's I use to own.

Exactly. A lot of Toyota's and Honda's are made here, employing the workers. The profits go back to the Japanese companies.

A lot of the American cars are built in Mexico, employing Mexican workers. Profits come back to US Companies.

Since most unions dislike the American CEO's making all the money and the workers not getting work, wouldn't it be better to buy the ones that employ the American workers and don't fatten the CEO's? :confused3

I married into a Honda family. Right now I drive a '95 accord w/ 178,355 on it, and Carrie drives an '04 Oddesy w/ approx. 55,000. Befor my accident I drove a '93 civic w/ 120,000 on it (Carries favorite car till someone rear ended me). But before marring into a Honda family I drove '77 GMC Sprint, '84 Mustang, a Tercel, an Elantra, Nissan pick-up, a Dodge Dakota, Geo Metro, and a Dodge Avenger (took this back from the ex who could not make the payments). Well I think I covered the car industry.:lmao:

That's it! That kid is getting written out of the will before he's even written in! He is not, I repeat, not inheriting my 11 year old car anymore now.:furious:

Post 3500. I'm officially an ADDICT!!:rolleyes2

:rotfl:

No, I just know how the Pepsi drinkers think. To me it is all about quality.

I'm surprised you as a Pepsi drinker are driving a Coke car.

Although the Pepsi drinkers are all over the Prius which is Toyota. Gotta be hard for them to walk in that Toyota showroom. :rotfl:
