indians win!!
now im going back to bed.:surfweb:

Congrats Mike!

I turned it on when I went to bed. It was the inning that Perez gave up the two home runs back-to-back and the Red Sox took the lead. I'm cheering for your Indians. Brought back painful memories of the Brewers season this year.

Wish I could have stayed up for that 11th. Looks like they killed them.

I'm hoping for an Indians vs. Rockies WS. I think I'll get the Rockies, may be a close one to get the Indians.

Can't wait for that NLCS game tonight - Go Rockies!!! :cheer2:

Hi All:

Invincible
Ratatuoille
Game Plan
UnderDog (starring? Mike):lmao:

Not that kind of wax treatment. A paraffin wax therapy treatment is one that soothes and moisturizes your hands, feet and elbows. It also helps relieve pain due to arthritis. It does not remove hair.

Oh, so it would work great for dry cracked skin. How exactly does this stuff work. Do you just spread it on like the other wax and then peel it off?

No no no ... paraffin is different. When it's heated it completely liquifies and during a treatment the client quickly dips her hands or feet into the paraffin (usually three times). It retains heat really well, but it also solidifies very quickly, essentially covering said body part in a soft, warm coating. It helps lock in moisture and the heat is great for inflamed joints (trust me, I know). It's usually left on the hands or feet for about five minutes (wrapped in plastic and then covered with a warm towel to lock in the heat) and then it peels right off like a glove. Doesn't do a thing to hair and is totally painless.

Every time I get a pedicure or manicure I pay extra to have the paraffin dip. :cloud9:

You should try it sometime. :thumbsup2

I get it now. Thank you for explaining that. It sounds interesting. I have never heard of it before.

So last night I went up to do my nails and read a magazine. Well I ended up changing the sheets on our bed and washing them last night. One bed down and 3 to go. Our bed is the worst of all of them because it is so big. But I did give myself a pedicure. It was great. I never take time to do that. I felt so good after that. It bumped my self confidance a litte. I got into watching a show and I read some of a magazine. Very nice 2 hours.

Today we are just staying home. Have things to do around the house. When Scott gets up we have yard work to do. Other then that I am just finding things to do.

What is everyone doing in Cozumel?
We were going to do Ixcharet, but decided against it due to budgets. Now we are going to do some shopping and maybe going down to Paradise Beach.

we are making out with dolphins.
at least robin is.
she is the animal lover.:lmao:

Just as a reference point, the day spa that I usually go to charges $9 to add parafiin to a manicure and $11 to add it to a pedicure. I usually try to pick a pedi / mani that already has parafiin included as part of the entire service.

You could always check at the Vista Spa and see if they offer it with their nails services and try it on board if you wanted to.

Thanks! Those were the movies that I was expecting would be on. My son will want to re-watch Ratatuoille ( He loves that one) and probably Underdog. I think that If I get the chance, I'll watch Bridge to Teribithia.

Good morning everyone. I just finished getting caught up here. I didn't have a chance to get on here the last day and a half with all the festivities of my nieces wedding. It was a very nice wedding and my niece was a beautiful bride! All my brothers and sisters and their kids were able to make it, this is the first time all 33 of us have been together in a few years so it was really nice!

Today is my do laundry, clean and get ready to pack day. I have lots I want to accomplish so I'm not sure I'll get much time here today either. Today I am going to finalize what Al and I are packing for the cruise, I have already started putting piles of clothes to pack in the living room so I am ahead of where I would ususally be at this time.

Just a quick message from Cass. Just in case there was a little confusion with the airport exits, this may clarify things a bit:

"As for the airport, you can take the north exit if you are going eastbound towards the port, the closed part is only for westbound on the 528 towards wdw."

OK..back to packing and then I'll catch up here. I just wanted to get this post out of the way before I forget.

Good Morning, all. Less than a week to go. I am on full weather watch mode. Although, I doubt we need to worry about Hurricanes. I'd like to have a few sunny days. NOAA states no tropical storms at this time.

So the object to this wax is to add moister to dry skin?

My hands are a mess from work I might just have to try that.

Yes - it's a moisturizing / healing treatment. It will leave your skin feeling really soft and smooth ... or it should.

Busy morning for me already. I have done 2 loads of laundry, swept and moped the laundry room. (that does not get done much I am afraid), and I have made taco meat for Monday nights dinner.

See Cheryl I remember to eat at home monday so we will be home if Rachal calls. :thumbsup2
