Mac was a great help also today

She cleaned her room, put her laundry away, cleaned up the craft closet. Helped me throw trash away.

Get this. We are spending next Thursday night at my parents house. So we are all going to dinner together. Mom suggested that after dinner we come home and get Mac ready for bed with all of her meds. And then Scott and I can leave them with all 3 kids while him and I go out to this Tea Cafe that is near them. My parents have never watched all 3 kids before. Let alone when they are all excited about a trip. Heck, Scott and I get to go on a date the night before the cruise.

this is true i'm afraid........

It is ok. I droped a few of the F...bombs and other words today at work. I was cleaning a shelf that is really deep, and inbetween other shelves so the back of the shelf it very dark. When I went over a spot with the paper towel I felt and bump and something sticky. No big deal I thought someone threw come or candy back there. Happens all the time. So I reached back to get it and it would not move. I pushed on it and all of a sudden it moved and sliced my thumb open. So now I am bleeding and I want to know what the heck it was so I climb in between these shelves and start looking. It used to be a jar of honey that broke probably a year ago and the pieces of glass stuck in the honey that leaked. Really gross. Well then I can not use the bandaids they have in the first aid kit because I am allergic to them so I did not use one. Well everytime I cleaned something the chemical got into the cut and burned. So not only did I drop words when I happened but I also dropped them every time something got into it.

It looks like your plane is completely full. The only open seats are the exit rows and the new "signature seating".

It was the "signature seating" that screwed you guys up. They took out the first few rows to put it in, causing your seats to disappear.

I'm glad AT let us select our seats (for a fee though) because the outbound plane is starting to fill up. Well, at least the seats available (not all of them) are being selected.

On the return flight though, we are the only ones who have selected seats. Sorry, don't want to roll the dice on seat assignments during check-in since I will be on the ship. More than happy to pay $5 per seat to get it assigned.

How do you find all the out about the planes. It would be interesting to check the status of our plane.

I just bought another package of transfers (used mine all up) to do one for my mom's friend, and then I had an idea...

I've read on the main boards about people leaving pillowcases,etc. at guest services for the characters to sign and was thinking about doing this. My new plan, is to do a white t-shirt with Thomas's name and a Mickey Mouse design on the front (like his Peter Pan one) but leave the rest as is, and turn that in to be signed. What do you all think?

I like that idea. I am doing the pillowcase thing for Mac. But the shirt is a good idea also.

I love Marry Poppins. For some reason I can not get Mac interested in it. She keeps telling me it is scary. I never really understood why but now that I say that, she is right.

Hey guys!

Thought I would pop in and say hi since I can't sleep

I've read back a few pages and I don't wanna hear any talk about eastern cruises!!! I leave for a couple of days and already you are misbehaving!!! Shame on you KKers!

Mike, I saw some nice boxer shorts for you in the WOD store today, but I forgot to take a pic.

I did see a nice mug for Brenda though, posted that pic on my thread.

It's really hot and humid here, but oddly I haven't complained once about it. Just realized that this evening in MK when Rob's family said "Cass I don't know how you do it, cus I am MELTING!!" Normally I am complaining about the dang heat all day long

So, I am a TOTAL dork, but I miss chatting with you guys every night. Stupid huh since I am IN WDW I've had a couple of hard days so maybe I am just in need of a big slap in the face so I can get some magic going

Kira has been SO good. She enjoyed watching the parade and Wishes tonight, no rides yet though so we'll see.

Guess I should try to get some sleep. Rob is passed out beside me

Lady brings her infant to the Emergency Department. She claims that the child won't eat all day. The child has been inconsolably fussy. I examine the patient and can't find a doggone thing wrong with her. PA examines child, still can't find anything wrong. We send the child back to be seen my a MD. MD can't find anything wrong with child. RN taking care of child empties childs bottle of the juice that she will not drink to fill it with a pedialyte and fresh juice. Upon finishing the refill, even though the bottle was not warmed, the nurse checked the bottle out of force of habit. Nothing comes out. Nurse checks nipple and finds no hole. She tosses said nipple and fetches new one out of the stockroom and then gives bottle to child. Child then drinks entire bottle and falls fast asleep. Case Closed.

Just looked at the Web Cam for Grand Cayman. It is just a soaker there today.

So, what is everyone's Plan B if we get washed out in any of the ports?

There will be no rain... .. I have ordered calm seas and sunshine

Follow up question:

Would you rather keep the Western if it meant rain all day for both Grand Cayman and Cozumel, or would you rather be rerouted to the Eastern if it meant sun for all your stops? (a little different twist to the usual questions)

Wasn't it fun?? I was so stressed the night I watched it--I was practically jumping out of my seat--I did NOT want those frat boys to win. I thought the flag task we a great ending to the show.

The flag task was great - really screwed up those frat boys ...the thing I loved about the hippies most was that they took the time for the people in the countried they visitied - they always said thank you, learnt a few words of the language etc... it paid off in the end when they knew all those flags

Bob's on his way to Germany, should be arriving in Cinncinati any minute now
and then within the hour off to Frankfort.
Guess he should be arriving by 4am our time, which will be about 10am Germany time.
His daughter is pretty excited.

Anyway he's happy to go visit for a week but he says he's really getting excited about the cruise since he's never done that before

Frankfurt airport - I did it on my own once with Ellis when he was just 2. I couldnt find the gate - walked miles

Oh no!! I may have done that to my kids already. But, at least I picked up on it before a trip to a hospital or even a phone call to my mom. And it also get's you thinking....The same bottle all day long??? I do hope she was smart enough to change the contents every now and then.
