what do you think of perrier jouet?
An old boyfriend bought us a bottle for Easter one year and it was over
$100. All of us, he, I and his mother thought it was horrible!
I thought that it almost tasted like beer

Jay and I really like Perrier Jouet - it's the one that comes in the flower bottle. We've only had it a couple of times because it is a bit pricey but we thought it was quite good. No accounting for taste, huh?

Have you tried Rosa Regale? It's an Italian sparkling red wine from Banfi - light and fruity with a hint of sweetness; it was much better than I expected it to be and it's only about $20 per bottle.

It was the Eco Park and Snorkel. I wasn't that set on it thank goodness. We are now thinking about Paradise beach and some ruins. Any suggestions would be appreciated if you have been there.

Question for those who are bringing their laptops (not sure who all is):

Is anyone bringing a small portable printer?

Just wondering because we're bringing the laptop, but want to print out our boarding passes on Friday. Not sure where I can print them. I think the printer in the Internet Cafe is wired to those computers and I was going to buy time for wireless. Although, it should only take a couple of minutes to print them, so another 4-5 minutes at $.75 is nothing.

I looked on the Castaway website and it looks like the wireless is LESS than the Internet Cafe. I always thought is was more.

Internet Cafe:
$.75/minute pay as you go
100 min for $55 ($.55/minute)
250 min for $100 ($.40/minute)
500 min for $150 ($.30/minute)

Wireless:
$.75/minute pay as you go
50 min for $27.50 ($.55/minute)
100 min for $40 ($.40/minute)

Wonder if it was tainted. Maybe it wasn't stored properly, like it got too hot somehwhere along the line. Sometimes champagne can taste yeasty, but it shouldn't taste like beer. I've only had the Perrier Jouet once--it was the 1996 vintage--and it was incredible--tasted like biting into a fresh green grape, but better!!

o.k. Chris--you are freaking me out a little. We don't have that vintage in our store, but we sell the 1999 for $130. What do they sell it on-board for? Was your 200 in UK or US money? I wonder if there is a decent wine store near the port where you could pick some up...

I picked this cruise because of the week, not the itinerary.
