You are correct, but you can have French sparkling wine that isn't champagne.

Yes, there are sparkling French wines made from grapes not grown in the Champagne region. I think we only have one in our store. They usually say something like "methode champenoise" on them. The spelling is all wrong I'm sure, but it basically means it is made in a champagne-like style. Prices could be a little cheaper, but not necessarily!

For me its Costco, I can't bear the crowds at Wal Mart. DW does that shopping for us. Don't know if you have Kohls out your way, but whole family went out last weekend and hauled in a new cruise wardrobe for very little cash. I got 5 pairs of name brand shorts- $26. total! Polo shirts for 14. BTW I don't work there just like a bargain.

Anyone dressing like a pirate for that night?

Houston we have a problem...we only got are cruise doc's yesterday and we only got ONE set of doc's for this cruise not the one after... we also have postal strikes over here next week so were thinking we ain't goner get the second cruise doc's before we leave now are we?.....

We told Thomas about the cruise last night - and it was SO fun! We started out by telling him we were going on a vacation, and started the Disney DVD. We showed him the boat, and he seemed interested, but didn't quite get it. THEN, he saw Mickey Mouse...and started jumping up and down! "Mickey Mouse, I'm going to meet Mickey Mouse! And Minnie Mouse, and Goofy!" He was jumping up and down and yelling - he is so excited to meet the characters! (Guess who's going to be combing their Navigator for all the character meets!)

My favorite question from him was (upon seeing Captain Hook in the DVD), "Oh, I'm going to meet Captain Hook - will he be mean?"

He also asked if Handy Manny was going to be there, then answered his own question, saying "No, he's busy. He's out fixing things for people."

My mom gave Thomas a hat with Mickey Mouse on it for the cruise (it's so cute) and I did get some pictures. I don't know how to post them, but maybe I'll bring 'em along.

Ok, now that Thomas knows too, it's going to be interesting to see who's most excited - him or me!

Chris - they come by UPS not royal mail so you should be ok. I dont think UPS are affected.

I have the older pasporter and decided not to purchase another until we finish our WDW trip. This time I want to get the planner version.

As far as excursions go, we thought that we would ad lib Key West. Take a walking tour. On Grand Cayman I may be in the mood for a semi-submarine tour. Depending on whether I think my kids would get much out of it. For Cozumel, I am torn. I would love to go to Xcaret (we were there on our honeymoon 10 years ago and loved it) but the long travel time scares me. I'm not sure yet how my kids will do on a small boat for that long. Locally, I don't know of much to do there. I may do the Cozumel Ruins as that fascinates me. I'd like to do the Parasailing on Castaway Cay if I can fit it in. Really, though all I want to do there is snorkel with my son.
