Good morning everyone. Not much going on here. Kids were gone for the evening. Janice and I did a movie last night, Good Luck Chuck. So-so for reviews from us. Had some really funny parts in it and some good one liners. Good popcorn though!!! popcorn::

Gotta ask everyone about my new toy. We had been looking at underwater cameras. Found a few on the internet that were no names and we were a little leary about buying them. We stopped at Best Buy and thought we would ask. The guy pointed to a couple of cameras that looked like regular cameras and said that they were underwater cams. No kidding, they look like regular cams, no special housings or anything.

We went with a Olympus Stylus 790. 7.1 MP. Coolest little camera I've seen. http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1314

This one goes down to 10 feet. The other one went down to 50 feet but we have no plans for scuba diving.

Does anyone else use one? Reviews for them?

GO PACK GO!!!

quick note to all us guys.
sweetest day is oct 20th this year.
since we are taking the wives on a cruise, thats present enough, right?
(robin and i were married on sweetest day) 32 years ago.

That's enough of a present for this girl Mike. :thumbsup2

Yeah, I've been checking in every so often, w/o so much as a peep from anyone.

PEEP:)

Good morning everyone. I have 2 days worth of catching up to do here :scared1: I was hoping to get on here last night after coming home from my nieces for her DD's birthday party but we got home later than I thought we would, the usual 1:10 drivetook us nearly 1:45 because of an accident that had the highway we take closed and we had to find a way to detour. I was too tired by the time we got home and I put things away. So I think I will be doing alot of skimming through posts now

Hi Mark

We bought the same camera two weeks ago! Kristin and Jesse also got the same one. I love it! Super easy to use. What color did you get? We had only one choice at our Best Buy so we both got orange. Salesman said it would also be easier to find if I drop it in the ocean.

Did you read the instructions yet? I thought it was kind of funny. "Soak your camera in fresh water for 10 minutes....." :scared1:

Chuck says hi too.

Good morning or afternoon, all!

Ok, today I am determined to get cruise work done. I am stuck in the house anyway--Alex has a fever. Poor baby, he cried because he thought he would be sick for the trip. He felt better after Rob explained that he has plenty of time to get healthy.

Big hugs for Alex:hug:

Do y'all know about corking fees in the dining room? Can we bring our own cork screw and open a bottle in the stateroom then take it to dinner to share?

Logged back in as me. I'm not sure why the computer keeps bumping me out and logging in here as Rachel :confused3

I'm hoping to make this a get ready for the cruise day and clean the house day! I am supposed to go to a Stampin' Up thing at a friends house this afternoon but I don't think I'm going to go, I just don't feel like giving up 4 hours of my afternoon when I have so much stuff I need/want to get done around here yet. I do have a stuffy nose and sore throat this morning (hopefully just my allergies acting up) but I think I will use that as my excuse and Rach and I can hopefully finally figure out what we need to do for her dress for my niece's wedding next week and finish our shirts and work on our tag bags. The bags I had had for our tag gifts ended up not working so I need to do/make some different bags. We also need to make a trip to Kohl's today, we got 20% off on our flyer this time

What's everyone up to today?

Hopefully, we're having a lazy Sunday. We'll make a run to the hospital, a little grocery shopping (very little), some Travel Channel and the Packer game tonight.

Nice and LAZY. :goodvibes

Glad you guys enjoyed Game Plan :thumbsup2 I had second thoughts about seeing it last week when I knew we would be able to see it on the Magic but I figured we might as well because we never seem to have much time to see movies on the Magic anyways. I know Rachel liked this movie so much she will find the time to see it on the Magic again.

Did you go with Chuck or Kristin (I almost typed Chick because I was thinking fast than I was typing, so they will now be referred to as Chick and Krustin :rotfl: )?

Date night?

It was a good movie. DS enjoyed it along with his mom and I.

Awww shucks Mike. Thank you!! :flower3:

Cheryl: We went to see Game Plan tonight. You're right, it was a good movie. And yes, I cried too.:sad1:

Jeff: Great pics of the Magic! Thanks for posting them.:thumbsup2

Oh, Oh. Better get the engraver out.... We all got the same color. Thats too funny. I think it is the only color that Best Buy stocks. We could have got the green one but they would have had to order it.

We have played with it a little and it seems to be a really nice camera. And yes...I laughed when I read to soak it under fresh water for 10 minutes.

I couldnt believe it when the guy pointed to the cam and said it was an UW camera. Had to ask him a few times if he was sure.

Just last night I ordered the floating strap for it. Guess it wouldnt be any good to have a cam thats good to 10 feet when I drop it and it goes to the bottom at 20 feet while snorkeling!!!!! Paid 14.95 for it on ebay but they nabbed me 10.00 for shipping. Ending up being the same as ordering direct from olympus but ebay things seem to ship faster than most companies.

Did you get a new card for it? Office Max was having a big sale on them. Dont remember what the price was but it was like 20.00 for a 1 gb and 35.00 for the 2 gb. Gotta check the paper today and see if there are any better sales at the tech stores.
