Grey hair. Don't even remind me. I got my hair cut about 2 weeks ago and during the cut my hair guy found a gray hair. Kind of funny because it was extremely curly. I have wavy hair but not that curly. So he pulled it out for me. Then we went up to the cabin that following weekend and I found another one. Same thing real curly. Then this past week I decided to style my hair and I found another one. I am turning 30 and I have grey hair.

Look at the bright side, when it all goes grey, you'll never have to curl you hair again!:rotfl2: I crack myself up!

So then, I woke up at 4 am this morning, and decided to give the t-shirts a go after all. I loaded the software, and started playing with the design. The back of the shirt was easy (KK logo) and I played around with the front designs a bit.

I 'think' I have what I want, and I printed off test pages to see if anything got cut off and if the software flipped the images properly.

Tonight I will go borrow Mom's color ink cartridges (she has the same printer I do) and print the transfers. So, keep your fingers crossed for me!

Good luck for tonight:banana: Fingers crossed!

..........a gray hair...... I am turning 30 and I have grey hair.

I hate to say this but............Welcome to the real world:rotfl2:

Wait til you turn 40:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: - If I plucked out all the grey ones then I'd look like Steves bald guy avatar:rotfl:

 Carrie it happens  I can't remember how old I was when I found my first grey hair. I just know my hair gal probably loves it now because I usually get it colored about every 4-5 weeks. This time it has been a good 7 weeks in between and yikes they are really showing.

Did I miss something. I did not see US Airways on the list of airlines.:sad2:

That's a bummer. Like Jeff pointed out, these are all airlines that are contracted with Disney. They steer people toward their services with convienence!

Jen, for future reference, I'm not sure what they are doing where you live, but Walgreen's here just started a cartridge refilling service. You can have your printer cartridges refilled for less than $11.00! I'm trying that next time.

Thanks for the idea, but my DH the computer guy will not allow it. He has seen recycled/refilled cartridges "explode" in printers and ruining them. He vetoed that idea as soon as I brought it up :sad2:

This is actually the first time in about 2 years that I've needed to print in color. We have a laser printer (which DH traded for with some computer components) that we use for most printing. That's why I hate to invest $50 for ink when I can go to Staples for .49/copy.

Yeah and why is it that grey hair makes a man looked distinguished but it makes a woman look "old"??????? Not fair!

I agree - childbirth was easy - dealing with them afterwards is far more difficult

Spencer (first child) - water broke while at a movie around 1130pm - he was born at 530am with no issues

Avery - I put Spencer down for a nap on a Sunday afternoon and when he woke up, Grandma was there to tell him his little sister had been born (just under 2 hours)

I would happily be pregnant and give birth over and over again! The best 18 months of my life!

Jessalynn

We are not going to go there. I would love to be pregnant again but that is not going to happen. Mine was on the unique side and I really did not get to enjoy alot of it. I spent most of it in and out of the hospital. Then I delivered early. As Jeff puts it I had my stomach cut open. :sad2:

Well I'm all caught up here now and my alloted DIS time for this morning is up. I probably won't have a chance to get on here again today, unless of course our docs come then I'll just have to post that :goodvibes Have a good day everyone, talk to y'all tomorrow. Keep those documents coming!!!!!!!! :goodvibes pixiedust:

Has anyone seen the tip about packing a drinks holder - the cardboard type you get from mcdonalds. If you are trying to walk back to the cabin with your hands full its much easier. I have a 2 drink holder packed - no space and very light:thumbsup2

Steve,

How do you save as a high quality .jpg? The only option Power Point gives me for a .jpg is "JPEG file interchange format"

Usually after you choose to save as a .jpg you will get a dialoge box asking you to select a compression factor. Sometimes it is a slider bar. Make sure this factor is set at 100%. I've never used Powerpoint before so I don't know how it handles these things, but if you don't have the option, then I assume that microsoft set the default at 100%.

I suppose it wasn't really 40 days and 40 nights, it just felt that way. I had 44 hours of labor with Tony. 16 of it was hard labor. Lots of complications for both of us but we came through with flying colors and a c-section.

Kristin was easy peasy. No labor, just another c-section.

Ok, so now I'm really going to bed. Goodnight all.

My girlfriend, Rose, always says she was in labour for 14 days...she went in to early labour and had contractions every hour but they never got closer in timeframe so she went to the hospital, she was then hospitalized for 3 or 4 days to prevent the early birth, then she went home for about 4-5 days and continued to get contractions and then was back in the hospital for a few more days and then they finally allowed her to give birth to a healthy baby boy.....but now she likes to joke everyone that she had a longer labour than all of us put together.

Her first children had been twins and there had been complications and one of the twins was born OK but then had a seizure when he was about 5 days old and is now quite disabled. Rose and her doctors were being extremely over cautious as she believes it has somethign to do with the birth.

But she neednt of worried about her youngest - he was pre-mature but you would never know it - he is really big/strong kid who can hold his own with his older brothers. Now they want to try again for a little girl!

Suz actually had 18+ hours of labor and the water actually broke up to 24 hours before she started having contractions (it punctured on the top and DS's head was pushing down blocking the canal).

They knew (well at least they should have from what we've read) that they should have done the c-section at 7:20 a.m. instead of 7:20 p.m. They had all the heart rate gizmos hooked up, even the one they screw into the baby's head. Every contraction would cause the heart rate to fall really low where they'd lose the level (that's because there was no level). DS had the cord wrapped around his chest a couple of times. So, with every contraction, it contracted his chest.

Oh My God - that sounds so scary - I assume everything was OK in the end? Were they at least good abotu keeping you informed of what was happenign?

My first (DS) I was in labor for 24 hrs. In fact I told my mother "if this baby isn't born by midnight I'm going in after it". He was born by c-section at 12:01 am or 0001 am according to his birth certificate. Oh and he was a whopping 10lbs even.

DD was supposed to be a c-section. We were in a pizza place, and the last song we heard on the juke box was Sara by Airplane. Well walking out to the car my water broke. 12hrs later my Sarah was born at an even 8lbs even. Oh and I got brave and did a Vbac.

Had you picked out the name Sarah before the song was played? that woudl have been cool if you had!

10 pounds for the first - wow! My first was 8 lbs 1oz and second was 9lbs 2 oz. That was big enough for me - my one nephew was 12 pounds - and to this day he is a heavy set kid.

That's a bummer. Like Jeff pointed out, these are all airlines that are contracted with Disney. They steer people toward their services with convienence!

According to the DCL website, the following Airlines are listed:

American Airlines
Continental
Delta Air Lines
Northwest
US Air

They don't have AirTran (who we are flying) on the list. And I know that AT is cross promoting Disney on their website, so I would assume they would partner on this. My guess is the website is not up to date.

DS turned out fine, except I think the whole ordeal made him develop an attitude problem. We first noticed it at 3 years old, now he'll talk back every once in a while. :rotfl2:

All kidding aside, NO they did not keep us informed the whole time. They should have done the C-section in the morning, but our Dr couldn't do one - we were on an HMO at the time and she was an FP that did OB, but couldn't do surgery. So she was in the hospital for most of the day and then left at 2:00ish. Then the next Dr. let Suz lie there while they "assessed" the situation - excuse me, was there no notes from the morning. Finally at about 6:00 p.m. we told them this was rediculous and what is taking so long. They consulted with the Dr. again and took her right to the surgery room.

They knew that morning that this was not going to go the normal way. They're lucky there wasn't any issues with DS.

Did any of you see the story from last week?

Russian Mother gives birth to 10th child weighing 18 pounds! :scared1:

I would say the 10th child part is bad enough, but 18 pounds is heavier than a bowling ball.
