Here's New's You Can Use...

Story

CELEBRATION, Fla., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Disney Cruise Line strives to offer guests a hassle-free vacation experience by providing extra services, such as Disney's Magical Express, that help eliminate some of the stresses of family travel. And beginning this fall, select guests sailing with Disney Cruise Line will find their vacation experience has been made even easier with the introduction of Onboard Airline Check-In. This new service will allow qualified guests to check-in for their post-cruise flights while on board the Disney Magic or Disney Wonder, eliminating the need to do so at Orlando International Airport.

Guests participating in Onboard Airline Check-In will enjoy the ease and convenience of not having to collect their luggage upon debarkation -- checked luggage will be transported directly from the ship to the guest's flight. While on their cruise, guests' boarding passes will be delivered to their staterooms the day prior to disembarkation. Upon the ship's return to Port Canaveral, participating guests can proceed directly to Customs and then to Orlando International Airport where they bypass check-in and continue straight to airport security and on to their assigned departure gate.

In order to take advantage of this service, guests will need to meet certain requirements and be booked on a domestic flight on one of the seven participating air carriers: AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Northwest Airlines, or United Airlines/Ted. Eligible guests will be able to enroll for Onboard Airline Check-in by completing pre-registration information received at Orlando International Airport or one of the Disney Cruise Line Hospitality Desks at the Walt Disney World Resort and turning it in during check-in at Port Canaveral.

To learn more about Disney Cruise Line or to book a Disney Cruise Line vacation, guests can contact their travel agent, visit http://www.disneycruise.com/ or call Disney Cruise Line at (888) DCL-2500. Travel agents can call Disney Cruise Line at (888) 325-2500 or visit http://www.disneytravelagents.com/.

Disney Cruise Line

I really hope this is in place at the time of our cruise. This will be such a big help. Especially with those of us with small children.

Thanks Steve - I did read this, but didn't know if I could post it here.

I know you post the weight loss on the KK site. At Curves we had a contest to motivate people to loose weight. It was for one month. Today I got weighed and measured for the end of the contest 7 lbs. and 9.50 inches

That makes me Lean Lurking Lynn

Hi everyone,

Finally got through all the pages....

Congrats to Scott for winning one for AZ and the West Coast!!

Lori did they just leave the docs on your porch. If so I may be doomed, we have problems with people stealing things off of porches around here..

They were just sitting beside the garage door. They didn't even take them to the front door. Good Luck.:thumbsup2

Do DCL still offer the pre-pay coke card?

I know the beverage station offers free soda (which I hate), this would still be handy for the kids in our party.

I prefer to purchase cans of soda at dinner if I need one.

There is no mention of this or the coffee card on the current navigators.

My first (DS) I was in labor for 24 hrs. In fact I told my mother "if this baby isn't born by midnight I'm going in after it".

:rotfl2:

Did i miss anything?....:rolleyes1

Yes, US!! Missed you Chris. Don't stay away so long next time.

I ususally color my own, but usually before vacations I treat myself and get the works done at the salon. I wish I could cut my own hair, but I would probably end up like Sinead O'Connor if I did.

:scared1:

We got a nice flat envelope delivered yesterday that looked somewhat like Kira's. I tore it open only to find our season tickets for the Bucks. :sad2:
Yup Jeff is back now :cool1: Lindy Loo popped her pretty little head in here a few days ago. She's saving up her pennies for $15 cokes. Oh wait, no that was Monte Carlo! Disney has $5 cokes! :rolleyes1

Everybody is making a list and checking it twice. Mike and Robin are busy stuffing $100 bills into our Dis Tag bags.

The ladies are all getting primped and pretty before they meet you!

Yup, a great condensed version of the KK thread this week. I especially like the idea of Mike and Robin "stuffing" $100.00 bills into our dis bags. "Stuffing" means that we are getting more than one each, unlike Jeff who is only giving us one. I would like to thank M & R in advance and to tell them they are my favorite DISers now.:rotfl2:

You better be afraid, and their ain't no way you are buying my man a drink. Crawl back under the rock you came out from under.

And if that Tart has any trouble crawling under that rock, I'm more than willing to give her a hand (or a foot).:rolleyes1

Good afternoon UK'ers! I was wondering, has Lori joined the ranks of the UK? She was up waaaaaay too early to be a USAer. :scared1:

Loved the lists from yesterday. I got a few good ideas. Here is yet another list of essentials I need to get together:

Boarding Passes/Airline Tickets
AAA CArds
Drivers License
Passports (and copies of passports)
Health & Dental Insurance Cards
Car Insurance Card
Hopper Passes
Travelers Checks
Cash/Tip singles
Disney Visa
Disney Rewards Cards
Toll $
Docs
Cell Phone/Chargers
Phone Numbers
List of credit card numbers (Hand off to Tony)
Epcot Legacy Location
Medications/Chuck's C-Pap

This is the "Half-Hour" list I mentioned yesterday, but in greater detail.

Hope someone finds this helpful.

Good afternoon UK'ers!

Epcot Legacy Location

Morning Nancy - I have my location slip in my wallet and mean to look every time we visit, but forget! Try and remember this time.

We had ours taken a long time ago. Just recently though we went to look at them and took a picture. Unfortunately, Kristin had her's taken with a different boyfriend and Jesse was none too pleased to see that picture. Needless to say, they took a new one together. :rotfl2:

Does anyone know if you can still buy a brick at Disney anywhere? I thought it would be a nice engagement gift for the kids.

Good morning everyone! Love love love seeing the pics of the docs since I don't have mine yet. It has me very excited! After seeing all these lists, I am seeing that I am probably the only procrastinator in this bunch....We swill start trying on clothes this weekend.

Jeff--new avatar. story behind it?

Sistah Goose--can't help ya with that brick thingy. sorry.

Ok, so MRI's, blood sugar tests, cross country running (Fun Run in DC on Monday), and keeping up with challenging classes weren't enough for my girl....We saw an orthodontist yesterday....braces in about a month! I don't know how my girl is keeping it all together. She is so much stronger than I was at her age. I think she needs this trip more than anyone in this family. I am so proud of her.......:goodvibes

Hi everyone!

WOW - lots to catch up on! So excited to see US'ers doing the doc dance! I emailed my TA yesterday, and then remembered she usually has Wednesdays off. Maybe I'll hear from her today if my docs have come.

Rachel - I forgot about the slushies - he'll love it!

I'll post a shortened version of my birth story - induction, pitocin, pain, possibility of a c-section all day, epidural (which wore off)......and then a

BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY!

Oh, and also:

Everyone's getting their haircut next week...DS on Wed. me on Thurs. (thank goodness I finally found a stylist I like before the cruise) and DH whenever he can fit it in.

Karen - of course, I wouldn't forget you ;)

Cass - thanks for sharing pics of the docs! I'm getting SO excited now!

So, who all has docs now?
