Well Friday he sprang on us that he dropped his classes! His excuse was that he owed us too much money and wanted to get us paid off. Now mind you I made payment arrangements with him where he could have paid it over the course of the year, knowing that his job doesn't guarantee hours (he subs as a custodian for the school district I work in). So that didn't fly in our book, and now he owes us for the money we paid on the classes he dropped. Nope mommy and daddy aren't too happy.

But I am a mush when it comes to my kids, so the first thing I do is call DCL to see if I can add him on. Nope, no quad rooms available. My reasoning, he either can go on the cruise and have fun with us, or stay home and have fun with his friends. Wonder where he gets his reasoning from...

(he promised that he was going back in January, well he better or he will be paying rent)

Oh how I dread those teenage years!!! Alex being 11 is starting to give me a little insight to whats ahead.

Hi Victoria, yep every little bit helps! I love my Disney Reward Card!

Hi Cheryl, yeah, I figure it can't hurt and I probably won't use the reward dollars anywhere else for a while so I might as well bring it on the cruise. We had a lot more points on our Midwest Express card, but they blacked all of us out the week of Teacher's Convention.

Alex had to wear jeans to school today since I packed all her shorts last night. I felt bad for her since it was 93 today!!!! Oh well, nothing is coming out of those suitcases!!!!!

Hi Lori just one more night of call for me Thur. night Things have been very stressful at work lately and I can't wait to get away on this cruise. I only work 5 more days before we go Wish Scott good luck the rest of this week and weekend! I know they don't get called in as often as we do in Nuc Med but their exams take longer than ours so I know they can be there for hours at a time.

That is so true. He can usually count on being called in at least once on the weekend and be there for 3-5 hours depending. But nothing like you poor guys.
Glad you only have 1 more night!!!!!!

Lori yesterday and over the weekend we were in the high 80s and high humidity too, many temp records were broken. This is the first time we have ever used our air conditioning in Oct. Now it is a cold 51 and very windy. I have actually closed all the windows for now, I don't want to go from using the AC to the heat in 24 hours. Maybe this cool front is heading your way!

So, I went to the eye doctor this week. I have worn gas permeable contacts for 21 years and he gave me some freebie soft contacts to wear on the cruise when we go snorkeling. O.K. Could I feel like more of an idiot? I could NOT get those things in my eye--they are so different than gas permeable--and so HUGE!! Finally did get one in my eye, but it could be a whole different story on the ship.
