Hey ya'll just checking in to say Hi!
Congrats to all of you who got an upgrade . I will be in the non-upgrade class, but then of course I just booked 3 months ago. Oh well just have to take advantage of the secret verandah on deck 7.

Hoefully I won't jinx us but this will be our 5th Disney cruise and we have always had early dining and our luggage has always been in our room by before the muster drill. We don't have room in our carry-on luggage either for our dinner clothes for the first night.

This is my first one with DCL. But all my others I have never packed my dinner clothes in my carry on. My luggage has always been at my room within an hour or so of me boarding. Personally I don't have enough room in my carry ons to pack dinner clothes also. Yes that night is casual. The other lines I have been on have been very understanding the first night because of luggage. If you luggage is not at your room by dinner time, it is their fault not yours so the can not get upset with you. And yes we have late dining.

Hi Becky I told my DD Rachel (Tinker_Belle) about how you posted on our picture that she looked to be about your DD's age. Rachel is 13. How old is your DD? There is a kids thread to this cruise if your DD would at least like to look in there.

Amazing I heard from my TA at 10:30 this morning. She seems to be stuck on the fact that I am asking for the docs. I don't believe anywhere in the letter I asked her if she had the docs yet. Specially since DCL told me they were not even printed yet. She is claiming that She will get the docs 14 days prior to the sail date. So that puts her getting them on Saturday Oct 6th. Which means I will not get them till the following friday if I have to go get them. I think I will just sent Scott in to get them. I am so feed up with this lady that I really don't want to see her.

Well anyways she stated that the air info was just released today and gave me all of that info including seat numbers. We will take up one row all the way accross and then one person (most likely my father) will be behind all of us. Depending on what seat it is.

Been a busy day today. Got home from work and visited with a naighbor for a few minutes then DH and I did the lawn. He takes care of the grass and I take care of the bushes and weeds. After that we did dinner, and then cleaned out my van so he can take it to get the oil changed and washed for me tomorrow. LDD is off to bed in a few then I will have time to sit and catch up.

I forgot to mention. These past few days Scott and I have done some projects together without killing each other. That is a major accomplishment for us. Yesterday we replaced the atenna on his car (that has been broken for 3 months now) The shop quated me $150 to replace it, I bought the part for $20 and spent about an hour to replace it.

Today was the yard, and cleaning out the van.

She's 14 and real shy, some of it is due to her disability(severe learning). She's a beautiful little girl, or should I say young woman. She loves disney, especially the whole High School Musical thing. She's really looking forward to the cruise, but last year wouldn't do the clubs so we are thinking she won't even try again this year, but we are going to try and get her to try the 11-14 group. She not big on a lot of noise, she doesn't react to it she just wants to leave and get to a more quieter place, although she loves the deck parties. I'll try and see if I can get her to post on the kids board.

Missy you and your Mike sound like Al and I. He knows our neighbors and talks to them way more than I do but here I am the one chatting on the DIS boards and I just can't convince him to get on here either. He did have fun watching the Packer game yesterday with the rest of the DISers at our meet though and he'll chat with everyone on the ship no problem (he just might not remember your names, he's not very good with names ) but I just can't get him to DIS

Mike, I will do my best to get my Mike on here............I really don't understand his reluctance........he is actually the more outgoing of the two of us. I am very happy being a house mouse.....you know, doing my own thing and if I see the neighbors coming I close the garage door!! Not him....he is Mr. Social Butterfly. He can spend hours at the fence talking to the neighbors about how well the grass is growing!..............I guess we will need a nickname for him too.......Mike2 is kinda like Scott2......poopy!

Thanks everyone and congrats to everyone on their uprades! I don't know how good our Cat 9's are but I'm just happy to have some kind of window! My sister & I got rooms 2548 and 2550.

Good rooms! Someone said earlier, we will be bumping into each other a lot at the midship elevators! What you have now is not connecting but The location is pretty good. People like these rooms on the stateroom reports.

None to bright is she? I'm glad you got the flight info that you needed. Pity that they needed so much prodding to do something simple.

Becky don't be surprised if Rachel sends you a PM to try and get to know your DD. She is a social butterfly and she love to make friends. I'm not sure how much time she will actually be spending in any of the kids clubs this time. Rachel LOVES High School Musical too!
