Oh well, it's time for me to get to bed. Early day tomorrow. Emily has an MRI scheduled. She found a lump on the back of her head a few weeks ago and we finally have an appt for an MRI. I really think this is nothing to worry about--swollen gland or something but I am so thankful to get an MRI because she had an episode back in Monterey that resembled a slight seizure (the neurologist thought we were crazy I think--long story) and no tests were ordered. Anyway, keep her in your thoughts please folks. Good night.

Letter just sent to our TA. Should be sitting in her in box when she gets in, in the morning.

I really hate doing things like this. My stomach gets in knots when I have to confront people for things.

Janice it was nice to see you again I was peeking at the binder while Al was driving to our different errand stops afterwards. Yes thanks Nancy!

We all had such a great time again..... well worth the drive, to see you all and meet new ones. We are so excited can't wait to meet the rest of you, with this group we are going to have so much fun. Thanks again Nancy for the binder, Mark has been reading it since we got home.

The full letter to the AAA department fit in their predesigned form. That letter is off and waiting for a responce.

I have to make some changes to the letter to DCL so I am off to do that. Then I have alot of read back on so I will be popping in and out.

We'll continue to keep Spencer in our prayers. I would think his opening his eyes would be a good sign

One more quick post before we leave.

I just got off the phone with my Godsons mom and guess what? He opened his eyes wide this morning!! It's still very clear that he still in the coma but this bit of news is giving us hope now. He hasn't followed anyone around the room or even followed a finger in front of him, but we are hopeful.

The doctors are quick to shoot us down with their thoughts but we just need a little something to hang onto.

The surgery to repair the hole in his right lung was successful but they have not let him breathe on his own since. They will let him try today for a couple hours and see how things go.

Please keep praying for Spencer, I know you will.

Talk to you after the meet everyone. Someone will be posting pictures I'm sure. I just hope no one catches me with a mouthful of pizza.

Evening everyone!

Just finished up dinner. (Whew - I'm full!) I have a few minutes before the girls' bath time. Thought I'd pop in for a few minutes.


Karen - I totally believe in wearing something twice. Especially for as long as you're planning on being away. No way you'd have enough room in your suitcases to plan on wearing something only once! Besides, who cares what others think! We won't talk much about you!

My puppy's surgery is tomorrow. Sigh! Hope all goes OK. To top it off, she's been seriously licking her paw the last few days. I took a good look at this morning. One of her nailbeds is totally inflamed. Not sure if it's because of the tumor, or something totally unrelated. Like she stubbed it or something. We're hoping she just stubbed it.

OK I'll have to keep this on the list of movies to see

BTW.............I really like the movie We Are Marshall. It did get my attention quickly and kept me interested. Although I did cry for 2 hours! I grew up hearing that story because my dad knew one of the guys in the crash, so it was interesting to learn the whole story.

So get this. I just got a responce from AAA National travel department. She is stating that she is forwarding my email to the head of travel of Arizona and that she will be doing some research and be in contact with me.

I got this 10 minutes after I sent the letter, at 7:30 on a Sunday night. Hmmm.

I've been trying to catch up (haven't been on since Friday afternoon!) and I won't get there tonight. Not when you guys keep going for milestones every other day! Seriously, it's been a long weekend visiting family out of town and then our DISmeet - I can't even stay up to watch the Bears game, and it's tied right now!

Anyway, I did want to pop on and say I really enjoyed our WI DISmeet! And, I DID cheer for the Packers while I was there. It was SO much fun meeting the WI branch of the group, and I can't wait to meet everyone else too!
