:bday: Happy Birthday Ellis!!from Teddy & Zachary

Zachary says to tell you he will be 5 1/2 on Tuesday. ;)

Yep it was actually very refreshing. It was COLD over night though, down in the 30's, I actually put the heat on in the house this morning just to make sure the furnace is working before we realy need it and it is. There have been a few times when we first put the heat on in the fall and it hasn't worked so we've needed to have the furnace guy come and do some tweaking, I hate finding that out when it is really cold in here.

Tomorrow we will get the Wisconsin weather. 60 and sunny. That's okay.

Goodmorning Victoria. I'm looking forward to finally meeting you and your family next weekend at the WI DIS meet

Jeff thanks for the PMed pics and the info on Huatulco! The pictures are beautiful! I will definitely keep this in mind as a place to go in the future!

Yes, the Gala Huatulco is All-Inclusive.

I will PM you some more pictures. Don't want to take up too much space here with non-DCL pics.

Unfortunately, our first 2 trips there were pre-DS, so we didn't have digital.

Huatulco is a beautiful resort town. The Mexican Gov't set it up to be the next Cancun, but wanted to keep the natural beauty of the bays (there are 9 of them, but only 5 are accessable from the land - the other 4 by boat). Well it never developed like they wanted (it wasn't hotel on top of hotel). There are only about 10 hotels total that Apple has to offer (if that many). We've stayed at the Gala and loved it. The Barcelo is next door and seems nice too, but we are just accustom to the Gala.

Anyhow, there are two little towns just outside of the resort area. One is Santa Cruz and the other is La Crusicita (sp?). The former is the port town with not much there, and the latter is the true town. Very small and quaint. We'd feel safe walking around there at night. The people down there are very friendly too.

When you go on Apple, they fly at night and you land at about 9:00 p.m. It is dark when you get there. The airport is 3 large thatched buildings. It was very warm when we arrived (85-90 at 9:00, btw it was 0 the first time we left from Chicago). There were palm trees everywhere from what we could see. The next morning, Suz and I woke up to a light in the corner. She told me I left the light on and to go turn it off (we went and had a few drinks when we got in, so I don't remember if I left it on :rolleyes1 ). I get up to turn it off and there was no light on. It was the sun coming around the curtain. I pull it back a little bit to look and the bay is the first thing we saw in the daylight. We fell in love with this location instantly. It is just beautiful down there.

Let me know if you like the pics I PM you.

We are Monk watchers too. Last night is the first night we watched Psych and it was good too.

No posts in over an hour? :confused3

Guess I'll go watch the end of Monk and then Psych (if you haven't seen Psych, it's funny).

Congrats to you too Cass :thumbsup2 :cheer2: Good thing weigh in wasn't today, I always treat myself on official weigh in day and yesterday I guess I overdid it  so now I have to get back on track for next week.

Cheryl, congrats on the weight loss!! :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Hi everyone. :flower3:

I've been out of the loop for a while so I have to ask, did the big "L" get moved to a different day???

I can't believe we are getting so close to cruise time! We got an e-mail from out TA yesterday that Delta changed our flight times ALOT. So much so that we have to reschedule our 1st leg because it now arrives after our connection leaves, and our return has left us with a 4 hour layover in ATL. I don't think so! I picked new flights so we're crossing our fingers that we can get on them. I know this is typical airline happenings but it peeves me because we have to change and we've lost our seat assignments in the process. :headache:

I'm sure glad the weather is getting cooler because it means the packing of summer clothes can begin! :)

Abby

Delta did the same thing to us. We are flying out of Rochester, N.Y.. It took two phone calls but I did get a better arrival time. The departure time stayed the same. Going back there was only a small change. Are you going down on Friday? Have you been through Atlanta before?

Well nobodys here to talk to again :confused3 so I'm off to help Rachel get some more stuff organized in her room. She has a very large tote of clothes that we need to sort through. She seems to have misplaced the dress she wants t o wear to my nieces weeding and then for formal night on the cruise, we are hoping it is in the tote.
Then I am going yo gather all my tag stuff from the different palces I have it stashed and see if the bags I have are going to work. I picked up the last few things for tag yesterday  I was a few short of 1 of the items and have searched everywhere including the internet with no success so I picked up something different for those few bags. Hopefully Rach and I will actually get our shirts made this weekend too! Less than 5 weeks to get everything done now :cool1:

Goodmorning Victoria. I'm looking forward to finally meeting you and your family next weekend at the WI DIS meet

Good morning Cheryl!! I know, I can't wait to meet everybody next Sunday--it will be strange actually "talking" to people that I have been talking to for months. :)

Don't leave me here alone or I will have to start drinking and it is a little early for that. :scared1:

Maybe I really should go. I seem to be having a problem with the boards again, not even sure if it will take this post, it didn't take my last one and I hate it when that happens

O.K., I'm back.

Had to run out and coach DS's football game. They are first and second graders. They killed the other team.

We scored (o.k., we don't keep score, but the kids remember every touchdown) about 6 or 7 touchdowns and one safety (don't count those either). It was DS's turn to play running back for 1/2 the game and he scored a touchdown almost the whole length of the field (50 yards).

Our defense only gave up 1 first down (mid-field is the first down mark) and when they did cross it, the boys stopped them (you have either score or you turn it over on downs). No scores for the other team.

I was so proud of all of them (I have 4 first graders and 5 second graders). Last week they were kind of all over the place and it was just a back and forth for each teams offense. Not sure if it was due to us only having one practice before the game (the other got rained out). But this week, they all played together so well and the defense remembered what I taught them at Tuesday's practice. We'll just have to build up the pass defense a little more this week and work on some more offensive technique and I think they will be ready for next week.

Can you tell I'm excited and proud of all the boys?

O.K., no to go catch up on what I've missed.
