Morning chuckle...

Bill Gates arrives at the pearlies...

"Well, Bill" said God, "I'm really confused on this one. I'm not sure whether to send you to Heaven or Hell! After all, you enormously helped society by putting a computer in almost every home in the world, and yet you created that ghastly Windows. I'm going to do something I've never done before. I'm going to let you decide where you want to go!"

Mr. Gates replied, "Well, thanks, God. What's the difference between the two?"

God said, "You can take a peek at both places briefly if it will help you decide. Shall we look at Hell first?"

"Sure!" said Bill, "Let's go!"

Bill was amazed! He saw a clean, white sandy beach with clear waters. There were thousands of beautiful women running around, playing in the water, laughing and frolicking about. The sun was shining and the temperature was perfect!

Bill said, "This is great! If this is Hell, I can' t wait to see heaven!"

To which God replied, "Let's go!" and off they went.

Bill saw puffy white clouds in a beautiful blue sky with angels drifting about playing harps and singing. It was nice, but surely not as enticing as Hell. Mr. Gates thought for only a brief moment and rendered his decision.

"God, I do believe I would like to go to Hell."

"As you desire," said God.

Two weeks later, God decided to check up on the late billionaire to see how things were going. He found Bill shackled to a wall, screaming amongst the hot flames in a dark cave. He was being burned and tortured by demons.

"How ya doin', Bill?" asked God.

Bill responded with anguish and despair, "This is awful! This is not what I expected at all! What happened to the beach and the beautiful women playing in the water?"

"Oh THAT!" said God, "That was the screen saver!"....:lmao: :lmao:

Have any of you "Early Travelers" recieved your docs yet?

None arrived here yet. Rick had to go to the post office on Saturday to pick up a parcel and we thought it might be the docs. Ended up that it was our $$ that we had ordered for the trip. Oh well....still waiting.

Loved the joke Chris...sorry I spoiled your
FO.

Three male mice were sitting at a bar with three shots of tequila, arguing
about how tough they were. The first mouse said, "I'm so tough I break
into the cupboard just to eat the rat poison." He slammed down his tequila
and looked at the second mouse.

The second mouse replied, "That's nothing. I'm so tough I run through a
mouse trap, grab the cheese, flip onto my back & benchpress the killer
springed trapwire." He slammed down his tequila and looked at the third
mouse. The third mouse slammed down his tequila, slid off his stool and
began walking away from the bar. The other mice screamed, "Hey, Softy,
where
do you think you're going?!!"

The third mouse replied, "AM GOING HOME TO PLAY THE BIRDS AND THE BEES WITH THE CAT."....:rolleyes1

I have a question.

In reference to dieting (ww), does anyone know if that flavored water is bad for you? I'm drinking Fruit 2 O.

It doesn't list the amount of sugar in it. It does say sucralose and sweeteners. I don't want to drink it and undo what I have lost.

Hi Tina,

My Godson (Spencer) was in a motorcycle accident on Sept 6th. Thanks for your well wishes. (He needs them).

Sucralose is an artificial sweetener - check the calories. If it only has a few calories (say 5 or less) it's ok. For WW purposes, they ask that you only get 1/2 your water intake from decaf coffee, teas, diet soda, etc. and the other 1/2 from pure water. Technically, the Fruit2O would be in the coffee, tea category. Of course, I cheat - I'd count it as water and be done with it;)

Nancy,

So sorry to hear about your godson. My thoughts are with you.

Morning everyone....

Had to catch up from the weekend...between the visitation and funeral we were pretty much occupied the whole weekend. I love all the wedding pics - wish I had a scanner to put mine up too!

Can't wait for the WI DISmeet this Sunday....my mom will be coming too! She has not been online, but is travelling in an adjoining cabin with a friend.

Oh, and I have to say....

GO BEARS!

Tina-

That's a great idea about a paper chain! The kids keep asking me when we are leaving. I should do one for them.

The limo sounds great too. A nice suprise for sure. :thumbsup2

Abby

That paper chain sounds like a lot of fun. I need to do something like that. Mine is just plain links. But the kids get a real kick out of it anyway.

Well nobodys here to talk to again :confused3 so I'm off to help Rachel get some more stuff organized in her room. She has a very large tote of clothes that we need to sort through. She seems to have misplaced the dress she wants t o wear to my nieces weeding and then for formal night on the cruise, we are hoping it is in the tote.
Then I am going yo gather all my tag stuff from the different palces I have it stashed and see if the bags I have are going to work. I picked up the last few things for tag yesterday  I was a few short of 1 of the items and have searched everywhere including the internet with no success so I picked up something different for those few bags. Hopefully Rach and I will actually get our shirts made this weekend too! Less than 5 weeks to get everything done now :cool1:

Looks like we were on the same page with tag stuff for the weekend. I picked up a few more gifts while on the road yesterday. They guy looked at me like I was crazy when I said I needed 19 of them.

Laura is going there next week. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) convention.

Let her know I would like to hear about it. I was in MOPS last year through our church. But now our church is having financial issues and decided that this year we are not going to a part of MOPS they started their own thing called MOMS. The first meeting is tonight and I don't know if I am going to like it or not.

Yowza! That would hurt! I think the spot I got it is the least painful of all places to get one. I didn't think it hurt at all, just an annoying feeling. I wanted to get it on my ankle but that's way too boney. My friend who got one with me got it on her shoulder and she was practically falling asleep during the process. If I don't do my shoulder then it'll be my stomach/hip, and I know that's not going to feel good. But the next one isn't going to have so much color, so it shouldn't take as long (1 1/2 hours).

I have one directly above my ankle. The guy said it would hurt but, I am so small that every place is boney so he said we would just go with and and deal with the pain as it occured. I was laughing through the whole thing. It did not hurt at all. It tickled more then anything. DH got one on the same spot different ankle and he said his hurt. I am planning #2 and kind of concerned that it will hurt it will cover more space then the one I have so I am kind of scared for this one.

Ok, own up - who's pc and desk is covered with bits of cruise info?

I have post its and notes everywhere.

One of these days I will collate them all :rolleyes1

That would be me. I have one spot on my desk that is all crusie stuff. Then I have stuff scattered all over our bedroom. I am not even going to try to put it all together until we get our airline info and docs.

Oops...should have quoted the original post...oh well :)

I actually have my Passporter, printed confirmations and plane tickets, and passports all in a tote bag. I also bought a notebook and I have written down hotel rate research, shore excursions, and all the notes I have been taking, as well as an ongoing packing list. Once I get my cruise docs, I'll take everything I need out and pack it in this hiphugger purse I'm using for travelling.

Remember all those post its and scraps of info I mentioned earlier?

Well, they are all now logged in a little book:banana: - geez - I suprise myself sometimes:lmao:

Are you proud of me Carrie?:rotfl:

I am very proud of you. You are doing a great job. Keep it up.

I am still reading backing. But I am off to take LDD to school and then to work. I will have to keep reading this afternoon when I get home.

Have a good day everyone.
