TheFatMan as posted that he is celebrating a wedding anniversary and birthdays. He did not state who's birthday. Could someone please find out for me.

Ok - I need to admit that I am not very creative and I dont do well at making things.

So in the spirit of not stressing myself out - I decided not to do the DIS-shirts. BUT we do want to do something for our door. I have heard people talking about buying magnetic paper (or something like that) and somehow getting a printed picture on to it.

My question is............what is the easiest way for me to do something??? Cant I just print out some pictures and use the magnets I have on the side of my fridge to hold the pix? Or maybe make something by colouring on cardboard and taping pictures to it - then just using strong magnets to stick it to the door?

Can it be as easy as that or am I missing something?

One more question about the door decoration..........what do people put on their door signs? do people put pictures of the family/children up or just pictures of Disney?

any concerns about having a picture of your child on the door of your cabin?

Well, I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew...but what I did for my door signs is used Power Point and found some Disney clip art and made signs.

There's a good thread about door sign magnets in the main forum...complete with clip art people have posted for anyone to use. You can also get some ideas on what other people have done.

Another suggestions was to use tagboard or cardstock and decorate it with stickers and write or print what you want on it.

Personally, I don't think I'd put my family's photos up, but I've never cruised before so I don't really know...

Here's a little eg. of what our previous cruises have been like.

Our excursion to a beautiful island in Nassau.

The clouds rolled in after a 45 minute swim.

Waiting out the storm in a pavilion on a beautiful Island in Nassau. There was no other shelter and there was no boat to leave.

Drenched after the excursion at the beautiful in Nassau.

Same cruise... A beautiful day at Castaway Cay...

Evacuating Castaway Cay after being there for only 1 hour.

We're going to have good weather and a great time guys.

With everyone asking, perhaps we could get EVERYONE to go to the KK site and make sure they have ALL celebrations posted on the Who's Celebrating database.

Make sure you have names/dates etc for each celebration. That way we can all reference the same sheet

I am really whipped tonight.

I went to the hospital to see my Dad and he just cried off and on. He's missing my Mom. It was so sad. They have a piano in the unit, so I had him sit with me at the piano while I played. He used to play too, but really can't remember much.

Tomorrow I'm taking some sheet music with me that we used to play together. That hopefully will give him a brief moment of joy.

If you want to smile.....I was just showing Rob your shirts and he thought "Tart Annihilator" was a great name.......He thought you loved eating tarts (you know, the pastry), so when I told him where the name came from, he really got a good laugh. The shirts really came out cute. Do you mind if I sort of copy them, adding our own names? Maybe I could pay you a smoothie royalty.....
