As long as it's your 3" floppy and not the one I use every now and then...:rotfl2:

Sure, glad I could help. Now I'll be able to find your cabin easier for the drop and run.:)

heather

Oh Heather - you'll wish you'd never asked:rotfl2: - havent downloaded them yet, but I'll bore you with them shortly.

Karen - follow everyone else. You are directed to the left, thorugh the promenade lounge and then catch the lift (elevator) outside Parrot Cay upto Deck 9 and you're there. I have never yet got to eat in Parrot Cay on embarkation day...perhaps this year????

Heather

:thumbsup2

You're not the only one Karen, but we're not allowed.

Heather

Maybe if I paint on freckles, put my hair in bunches and wear a minnie swimsuit I could get away with being 4 instead of 40:rotfl2:

Auntie Karen... Plankton's ready to go with you on the cruise next month. Look, he's already packed:

I guess I should have mentioned that he doesn't travel light.

:lmao: Cant wait to meet him. His luggage does look rather large though:rolleyes: .....oh well, I have my porter to carry it all - I mean Neil of course:rolleyes1

Foo Foo Drinks are the girly drinks, anything that is not wine, beer or margaritas. They are typically frozen drinks that look pretty and taste great.

As for all the fish the only reason there were that many was because I was throwing bread at DH's head while he was in the water getting all the fish to come to him so I could get him to get a good picture. I was out of the water on the edge of the boat because I got stung by a jelly fish. Heck I am not going back in that water.

In that case does anyone care to join me for a nice foo foo at the bar?

As for turning 40, you're in good company for the cruise. We have a bunch turning 40.....I am in February. You know what they say, "With age, comes wisdom." Well, I say bring on the wisdom because I've been a dumba$$ for far too long!

Lindy loo is 40 too so I guess I'm in great company:goodvibes

Start planning the NEXT ONE.....We all know once Mickey has a hold on your purse strings he ain't NEVER letting go....Anyone fancy a wager with me?...I bet anyone a DOTD Karen re-books while aboard....Poor Neil....:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Good Morning, Good Morning,

We've been so busy all weekend. I have some catching up to do. Today is our day to relax.

We might go golfing this morning for Mike's b-day.

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!

Cass,

Your place is gorgeous. I saw a few of the pics, but need to go back and check out the others.

Robin

Morning all. I am beat!!!!! The party yesterday for Alex and Harrison about did me in. 25+ kids. It was supposed to be from 2-4. Kids in the neighborhood saw the bouncy thing and came around 10 and left when it did around 8:30 last night. We had friends stay over for a cookout and they stayed very late. It was loads of fun though!!!!!!

Today I am going to straighten the house and nothing else.:thumbsup2

RN in the ER

Steve,
Any advice for a young man thinking about nursing as a career. My son just started Delta and is thinking about going into nursing....well at least that is the career choice of the month:rolleyes1 . He knows he wants to get his bachelors in whatever he chooses as a career, but I am wondering if he should go through the AA program, start working, and then finish his degree. I honestly think he would be great in this profession. I'm trying to get him to do a job shadow with one of the ER nurses that my mom works with (she's an ER nurse as well).

The Job shadow is a good idea. Nursing is great, but you really have to want to do this job. I've seen some get into it because of the pay or the ease of getting a job and not because they like the job. Those are unhappy people. But if if interests you, it is a great job. I'm not sure how Delta is doing (I thought of going there when I was looking to get my degree) but down here the nursing programs are pretty impacted. Let you son know not to let his grades slip in the slightest. There is a bit of an edge given to those with a good GPA. Another thing that he may want to consider is getting his EMT and either working with an ambulance service or for an Emergency Room as a Tech. Great Experience (esp. the latter) plus it will build contacts for him as he gets into the field. Some of the programs down here will also give you a bit of credit for job experience.

HAPPY LABOUR DAY TO EVERYONE ACROSS THE POND!

Cass - Do you have labour day as well?

Thank you. I'm laboring today. Grrrr.

I did it! - all 300 pages!

How sad am I:rolleyes1

Congrats!

OMG!
Sounds like Sean too....
Lets send them off somewhere on the cruiseship where they can't bother the rest of us who just want to relax and unwind and not get into really deep discussions requiring more of our thoughts other than what kind of drink should we have tonight?

Laughing now. Tyler says that if we did that there is no telling how odd of a subject they would come up with and that we could be sorry. He is laughing and looking forward to meeting someone as equally weird.

He works at the museum and has for 3 years now as a volunteer doing summer camps and public programs. Basically it is for fun and volunteer/community hours. This past year he did train one educator who had just hired on. He grew up there as I worked there when they were little.

Well I just wanted to pop on and say good morning. You all have posted so much that I can't even begin today to read back. We are off to the mall and movies. No down time for me for boards. I did work on tag bags this weekend though. How many are we up to? Have a great day everyone.
